I can say as a single guy.. it's easy to ask out a girl you don't know or flirt with a potential root, or get a girl you don't have an attraction to.
But when a guy talks to a girl and starts to crush on her the more he likes her the harder it is to ask her out, the more chance he will cause awkwardness trying and he will stuff things up.
The best thing any woman can do to stop a guy crushing is fold her arms in conversation and mention she is seeing someone even if she's not. He will stop crushing quick.
If a girl does like the guy back that is crushing on her then she better be ready for some awkward and dumb insecure moments. This won't stop until you hug him and and DM with him.
