    *wipes Drool* and here I am bidding on a r210 and thinking of getting a r710.I wish I could afford something like this.
    Keep up the great videos always nice to see under the hood! Especially when it gets explained. along the way.

      I'm looking to more of building one instead of purchasing one, not sure if it would be cheaper tho. need one for heavy read database

    Hey, we’re looking at these but we need RAID support. Was thinking of adding the LSI Broadcom 9460-16i to it, however to me it’s not clear how the drives are wired in this chassis. Are those slimSAS connectors or another type SFF? And to what are those expansion boards wired? Something onboard? Thanks in advance

    Why not have native 10g support for a nvme type server, the bottleneck with be the 2 x 1 gig ports

      It would be nice to have 10GbE on board, but even that may not be enough for peak performance. We're using the PCIe slots for I/O connectivity, which is what you have to do with this config. 1GbE would be insane to try to use.
