Thanks for the review Shane! I really didn't like the previous Valencia designs as they are all high back. This design looks super clean and exactly what I was looking for. These are very much like KING Cloud V however they do not deliver to the USA.. However i'm planning a dark cognac color scheme for my room. Is it possible to special order? Additionally is it possible to A. Adjust the color of the lights to be an amber glow (2700k) Dont fancy a Christmas tree in my theater... Additionally is it possible to turn off the cup holder and trim lights? Keep up the great work!
Good review, but still not *quite* the seats for me. I'm looking for something that has the seats in a slightly curved configuration instead of a straight line. Right now I have a slightly curved couch, but it's brown and quite ugly. All I ask is that the seating come up to around where my shoulder blades are, which my couch does. As a 5' 11" dude (6' 0" on dating apps, mind you) this is usually easy for most seats to accomplish, so these might be too short for me like you mentioned. I agree that black would be better. I could probably do without the strip of LEDs on the bottom, that seems cheesy but they're probably easy enough to disconnect.
You can turn the lights off but yeah these might be short to be comfortable at length. Great for short demos but then again you can always just raise the headrest all the way up. You're tall enough where it still won't block your ears.
@@therealshanelee After watching this video I looked around at other seats by various brands and ALL of the others had the headrests too high. So far this looks like the best. Maybe I can engineer a way to connect them on a slight curve. The only problem would be small gaps in the back. Maybe I can live with that.
Seat backs seem a bit too short even for you. I'm definitely sticking with the tuscany even though your points regarding the blocking of sound are extremely valid.
I had similar concerns also. I ordered the tuscany ultimate luxury in a 3 seat sofa style. The center seat reclines and I plan to hit the pre set recline on the two outer seats as a solution. If the two outer seats are used, recline the center one.
All you need to do on these is raise the headrest slightly and it'll hit your shoulders while still staying away from your head. Or raise them all the way and they'll be just like the Tuscany. The Tuscany's are decent but these are on a different level if you care about audio.
These are very interesting seats. Beautiful nonetheless. I'm 6'1 so these probably wouldn't work for me. But I'm glad you have the option to raise the headrest. Very cool design. Theater is looking awesome Shane!
I want the Barcelona but with the cheapest leather. Talking to USA Valencia, they said they can do Napa 11000 (shiny black) or their black Velour as a custom order for $1400 a seat. What a great option! If we call demand cheaper options they may stock it.
@@therealshanelee *edited previous msg.....yep...they will custom order for you the black Velour or Napa 11000(shiny black) for $1400 ea. Better buy . Hope they stock it soon
These looked great up until the point where you pointed out the lack of independent adjustments and the fully reclined length. I'd also love it if Valencia offered their seats in other materials than leather. Quick question: for reference, how tall are you?
So in your 3 seat configuration looking at the bottom of the chairs in the video are there 6 round rear feet total (for use with motion transducers)? I assume the same across the front (6)?
Funny, this seat and the salamander talia are really peaking my interest and when I research here, one vid of each and both by you, great job ! This one seems to be a bit more feature rich but the salamander may be better constructed, what are your thoughts ?
Salamander is gonna cost more since they are made here in CT and their leather hides are a bit thicker. Comfort wise Valencia wins hands down since they have the adjustable back support. The Talia backrest curves inwards so it can get uncomfortable after a while unless you put a pillow or something behind your back. Looks wise it’s a subjective thing so pick what you like best.
The original Tuscany was the best comfortable chair,This we should thanks their designer @Seatcraft But the new one who designed good for the first row, cause it's better for the guys second row
Is it possible to turn off the LED lights? love the seats but I think they are just too wide for my space. Curious if they would come in different widths?
Happen to be 510 or under really misses the mark from a marketing perspective as far as I’m concerned. Nevertheless, it’s a beautiful sea I’m still anxiously awaiting your Denon A-1 H review Shane. Will it be dropping soon?
Valencia, the most uncomfortable theater seats I've ever owned. And now the dumbest idea to have a headrest that avoids covering sound, but if you don't use it, they'll be even more uncomfortable. Nicely done Valencia. ha ha
Don Dunn has said on this channel that Valencia seats are cheaply built and shouldn't be expected to last much more than 2 years. He said after decades of experience as an integrator, he recommends recliners by CinemaTech because they build higher quality seats. No one wants unreliable products that won't stand the test of time in their home theater. Also, you can tell just from looking at this specific model that it isn't going to be comfortable. No one is going to be comfortable with such a low back rest and limited reclining motors. Plus, their is no pillow like padding in the seat, arm rest or back rest. You may make it through a movie but if you spend significant time in your home theater watching t.v., movies, playing video games these seats are a definite no go.
@@therealshanelee Adjustable headrest is for people up to 5'10". It doesn't double extend. So yes, works for the average height person. Assuming you have no friends or family 2" taller than the mean height who would be uncomfortable in the theater you spent so much time and money building. Make the couch 3" taller... Easy fix. Easily avoided if built in the US vs china where average height is much smaller.
@@SHREDbro Once you extend the headrest it becomes your standard seat like their other models, Oslo, Tuscany etc. The idea Incase you missed it, is to have the lowest back possible. At the lowest height it might be uncomfortable for a 6ft person. If that's the case raise the headrest. If that's still an issue you can buy one of their XL styled Oslo or Tuscany seats. Hence the overstuffed comment from OP.
I think a slimmer version would be cool. That seems like a lot of wasted seating space if you don't need the wide cushion. As well as a version with a higher seated position version. That way you could buy a low and a high To give those of us with low ceilings a head start for a second row.
