I can’t figure out what chairs you’re comparing. You’re calling it the ultimate luxury edition, but ultimate edition and luxury edition are two different chairs on their website one pair for $2999 and one pair for $3999 and then there’s the regular premier Tuscany, I’m trying to find out what the difference between the luxury edition and the ultimate edition is, there doesn’t seem to be any other than $1000. This is one year after this video was made so the website has changed.
I’ve also got both, and you’ve covered off the differences really well. For me - memory is the best, but I wish there was an auto return without having to hold it. Good vid mate - lucky ur so close and get them super fast!

I’m 6 foot 2 and my feet always dangle from the foot rest and I hate that feeling. Not sure if anybody has the longer bigger version of this but I have never found a recliner that is powered where my legs are not sticking out towards the end of the seat.
I'm almost 6' 3" and believe it or not I helped a friend today install his Tuscany XL chairs. I was able to stretch out with no dangling. I do believe my feet were right at the edge, but definitely not hanging off.
Wow, this video should’ve been titled luxury seating versus premier seatings. I went with the premier because of the quality performance. It looks nice I like the shiny Matt look instead of black bland look of the luxury seating
Just bought a pair of Valencia chairs that were on clearance with free shipping and no tax. Red leather wasn’t my first choice but the price couldn’t be beat.

They might not be Valancia ive seen on Amazon for half the price. $500 for 1 & $1093 for 2. The measurements are 95% the same but no memory or lumbar support but half the price 😮 Canmove
I have the Premier and all I really want is a toggle for lights (cupholder only, underseat only, and both). The seat lighting is annoying during projection viewing.

For me, the main selling point for luxury is that synthetic leather can ruin chairs that are perfectly good otherwise. I will never get synthetic leather again so for me, luxury is the only sensible choice and I can enjoy them for probably 20+ years. My current chairs are cheap in comparison and still comfortable after 20 years but the sythetic leather is all cracked and hard and pokes me constantly.
I'm not sure you're aware that both premier and luxury editions of the Tuscany use real leather for the seats? Unless you're commenting on both or the sides/back of the chairs
@@xShianx Yes, I'm commenting about the non-seating areas being synthetic leather and cracking everywhere. Mine are cracking at the top of the headrest on the back, every corner, and the sides of the seating cushions that poke you in the sides when you take a nap horizontally. The real leather on those couches is all still perfect though so no more synthetic leather for me anywhere at all on the couch.
I bought a sofa and love seat from Valencia a few years ago. They are similar to the ones in this video. Out of 4 control panels, 3 of them stopped functioning. One stopped working within a few months and i replaced it. Valencia sent the first replacement panel free of charge. Then shortly afterwards, BOTH panels on the love seat stopped working, and Valencia is asking $100 each for replacement panels. Overall, I'm not at all impressed with the sofas, especially for the high price. I ordered mine with the top-of the line leather, but I don't see or feel any difference in quality from any other sofa leather. I'm beginning to think maybe it isn't the top grade leather after all. The fit and build quality are less than average. You can feel hard lumps in one of the sofa seat cushions. One of the seats is also tilted at a slight but noticeable angle. The overall workmanship is just not very good. You would do better to just go to your local furniture store for a similar item at a fraction of the price instead of spending extra money on having it "custom made" by Valencia.
Can any of those configurations replace my couch/sofa and be used as a backup bed as well? If they don't have armrests inbetween, would this be comfortable for sleeping?
When they are fully reclined, they are quite comfortable and I have fallen asleep on them many times. But, the seats bottoms are curved and contoured for your butt, so laying across them, probably wouldn't be the most comfortable, but I can't say for sure because I have never tried..
The Rolls Royce of theater chairs...beautiful! Unfortunately mine are like a 1969 VW Beetle lol....least I don't fall asleep in them lol Maybe one day!😀
Don’t be fooled! I have 6 Tuscany seats in our theatre. They look great. But after 2 hrs. setting in them discomfort sets in & only gets worse with time. Engineers need to be schooled by car/truck manufactured seating. I can set in my truck or car for 7 hrs. plus & not feel as uncomfortable as 3 hrs in the Tuscany seats. Or after watching a long movie I can go set in my Stressless chair for relief.
DO NOT BUY from Valencia. They pay influencers but the service, comfort, and quality are not guaranteed by the company. It's all FAKE REVIEWS that they approve or pay for. Not Real nor Authentic. Valencia chairs are terrible. I just received my four chairs. They are uncomfortable for every person in our home. My husband rates it 3 out of 10 in comfort. Reached out to Valencia and they emailed me that it would be $400 fee to return each chair. That is $1600 to do a return. Have yet to talk to someone in support. Reviews are their website are not all real, and any bad reviews are prevented from being posted.
I'm sorry your family doesn't find them comfortable. But just because you don't find them comfortable, doesn't make all the reviews online fake. I understand you're frustrated, but don't let your frustration cause you to jump to ridiculous and unfounded conclusions. Best of luck on your return.
Your review is a good factual comparison when choosing between the two series. I do like your comparisons. I watched it several times in my buying decision. You said it best, good luck on your own with Valencia if you are unhappy with the chairs after delivery because it will cost you valuable time, money, and huge inconvenience. Find a place that you can try these out first and they are not for everyone.
Anyone who's experienced leather and fabric recliners will probably tell you that the only advantages to leather are incredible looks and a bit of status, or gravitas to a room. Fabric won't stick to your arms, legs or any bare skin and they don't suck when it's warm (or hot) or you're hot. When it's cold, fabric chairs are comfy. You try wearing leather pants or a shirt 😁. Nice comparison, those things look great in your room.
Movie Theater seats made of anything but solid, not perforated leather, are a mistake, especially if you have kids or messy people who spill. 1st It's A Movie Theater Chair and Porous Cloth material Is Not Water Resistant or Waterproof. Everything from pet & human urine and beer will be permanently imbedded in the cushions, and there is no getting out the odors, or stains. Since many home theaters are in basements, there can be high moisture, and humidity levels The basement moisture in combination of dust, liquid & food, pet dander, sweat, pet & baby urine, baby formula, or breast milk. In time, in a damp environment, bacteria, and mold, can build up making your beautiful recliner very unhealthy. Once these contaminants get in the material, there is no getting it out.
Had both and leather is by far better. Regarding temps, that’s what hvac is for, or a throw blanket. Cleaning is also easier w leather, w fabric you never really know if it’s clean.

These home theater chairs are ridiculously overpriced and there are too many middlemen involved in the process.
No they arent, they are higher quality seats. They just must be out of your price range.

I am in Canada, but Valencia does have distribution in the US. I don't see warranty coverage being a problem there...cheers.
