A good jump scare will keep your heart going for awhile! This is partly why I love the ocean... you never know what will pop up next to you... it's both intriguing and terrifying at the same time. I love the shrimping, but I'm looking forward to this float trip... that sounds awesome! Beautiful time of year there for sure. Soak it up!
That float trip video will probably be 2 or 3 videos. It wasn't a bad float, not as much fishing as the water was high and we were woefully unprepared. Still got some grayling and rainbows.
not sure of the species of crab. It is easy to tell the difference between males and females tho. The ones you pointed at were female. they have a rounded apron. Just like a fat bottomed girl. The males have a skinnier pointed apron. Just like a pecker. haha.
Nice! Id have to do a little fishing while out there. I imagine there are all kinds of crazy fish you can catch.
