- I decided to see what would happen if I gave my viewers the ability to cause crazy effects to happen in game, it raised a buttload of money for charity but definitely made a grand majority of the players (myself included) CRAZY.
If you'd like to see the VODS for the fundraiser streams, they'll always be up in the Live section of the channel, you'll be able to see what donations did what as well if you're really interested.
Massive shoutout to everyone who liked, subscribed, donated, commented or just lurked in the stream during the fundraiser events, we truly made an astonishing amount of money and doubled our initial goal (I had to shave my head because of it, you can see proof in my Discord server).
IMPORTANT: The fundraiser event is over, the text at the top left of the video will not continue to apply, I thought it would be a better viewing experience to leave it there and explain in the intro and description than to leave a big black box or something in the corner of the screen for the whole video :)

PRobably get this a lot, but what server do you normally play on? Just started playing and wanted to know some good servers aside from the northwood servers
I stick to NW official and Kadavas Kingdom tbh, they give the nice vanilla experiences I like with a little bit of qol improvements on the kingdom. If you like more arcadey modded servers I hear Dr brights and bananas bungalow are good but they're too quirky for my tastes.

how do u make ur thumbnails
I pose the characters with SFM and for the backgrounds I usually get a screenshot from in game or in this case an image from online. After that I composite it all together in Photoshop, add text and filters and job done :)
@@KadavaSmile would you say your thumbnails are the best ways to get views? like are they one of the core reasons your videos get many views?
@@sngreal It's a mixture of two things, and you can very much see this with my channel history:
1. Thumbnails absolutely contribute to how many views you get, UA-cam gives your videos a bunch of impressions so it's up to you to do whatever you can to maximise how many of those impressions actually click on the video. Thumbnails need to have a unique style compared to other UA-camrs to make sure people are aware it's YOUR videos as well as to stand out and they need to be good enough to attract a potential viewers eye and make them want to click on the video, people aren't going to click on a poorly made thumbnail that looks like a 5 year old with a crayon edited ontop of a screenshot of the game, at that point don't even bother with one.
2. As you can see from my first SL videos, the algorithm pushes videos whether the thumbnail is insane or tragic, this'll mean you get a large amount of impressions which will eventually have a large amount of people clicking on your videos. But as I said, it's all about optimising the largest percentage of Click Through Rate (CTR) that you can get, I reckon if I had a thumbnail for my first videos I could've easily doubled the views but I just didn't know what I was doing then.
Overall, if you're going to put in the effort to record, edit and find content for a video, not spending 1-2 hours making a thumbail is basically the same as baking a delicious cake and not adding any icing, just letting it look kinda bland with no appeal. The CORE reason you get views is completely out of your control and in the hands of the algorithm other than finding niches or doing a large amount of research (which will probably just end up in you doing stuff you don't like or having a good handful of views but no subscribers), other than that it's all about maximising your CTR with things like thumbnails, descriptions, titles and the first 7 seconds of the video.

The one in the video or Kadavas Kingdom? If it's the former, it isn't, it has 25-30 people in it and if you're on about the latter people usually get on in bursts or events, people usually send a message in the Discord whenever they're filling it up.
