I just got Logic. I feel the best way to learn is by doing it with you. I have been over doing it for the longerst and you just taught me how simple it is to mix my music. Thought you might appreciate this comment!? I'm 60 (yep 60) and finally have the time and money to invest in the technology to record my music at home. For years I've written lyrics and music on guitar andor keys and now need to get it done before I'm gone! I love all quality music across multiple genres but my preferred is progressive rock as well as singer/songwrtier stuff which is what I do. Because I've just come to the end of carefully choosing my instruments, mics, DAI and DAW (I've learned that patience is a fine thing and so watched countless tutorials which has helped me get a head start on the DAW in particular) I've chosen Logic Pro X. Reason for commenting? - because even though I thought I didn't like rap/urban music - I've watched lots of your videos and they've been really entertaining and helpful for me. Also, I've suddenly realised that I'm totally appreciating and enjoying your music! I'm an old convert! Now I understand what you are aiming for and how you get there. This video in particular got me totally into the groove of things! So ... thank you very much indeed and please do more videos on Logic Pro X as opposed to your natural bias towards Pro Tools! I use Adobe Audition and I’ve been translating all this information and applying it in that DAW. This video in particular has been the MOST helpful mixing video I’ve come across this far. Watching the step by step makes it extremely convenient for me to figure out what I need to do to get a similar or identical sound in my DAW

YES! I've been waiting for a video of him using Logic.
We need more logic mixing tips . Especially for mixing 2track beats that aren’t mixed well (too much low end, too much high end, etc.) learning how to preserve the sound but clean it up as much as possible to make the mixing part for the vocals much easier.
I'm a rapper from mtl so technically I'm not a sound engineer but I always wanted to mix my own songs. I just purchased an iMac with logic pro.. aye bro quick tip. command+option+c to copy channel strip then command+option+v to paste all the copied plugins and sends settings to another track. saves time from dragging plugins one by one.
