Poor Asgore. He's really another underrated character. He only destroys the mercy button because he knows he doesn't deserve mercy. He's depressed, both of his children died, and his wife left him. He only wants what's best for the underground. I think he's one of the most thought out characters. This made believe in him again

This is the reason I love Asgore as a character. He knows that he needs to kill you, for the good of his people, but he so pained by his past experiences. Killing six other children as well as losing both of your own children would really scar you to the deepest parts. He doesn't want to bring harm to any other people, but knowing that you will be the last person he will ever have to harm fills him with determination.

HOLY COW GUYS!!! this picture and the Toriel picture look SO COOL next to each other 8U like I didn't even mean for it!!! like here here let me talk artist to ya XD so like, when you put Asgore on the left and my Toriel Picture to the right, their perspectives are very similar but like flipped right? and both consist of complimentary colors of purple and yellow. Well the Asgore painting is Yellow complimented by purple, and the Toriel painting is purple complimented by yellow from the flames, so it's like they blend into each other but the colors contact when the paintings are next to each other like one painting, but it gets cooler! the coolest part is that like like! Asgore is facing Toriel looking regretful to fight Frisk, but he is forcing himself to, and on the left TORIEL IS HUGGING FRISK AMONG FLAMES WHICH LOOK LIKE ASGORES! As if she's protecting Frisk from Asgore, WHICH SHE DOES IN THE GAME (but in a different way but like symbolically it's THERE!!! AND FITS SO WELL!) like *mind blown* Totally coincidental, I had no idea! I just wanted to say that this is my favorite picture of Asgore that I have seen on the internet, just because I feel you captured the emotion in Asgores face while he is fighting perfectly. I have seen a lot of people draw him demonic and crazy, but I believe he might have been on the verge of tears when he has to fight you to save his people. So, I love it! Thank you!
You have a good method for coloring, and you explained it in your tutorial. But... do you have a similar algorythm-method you always follow to draw your sketches? I think that's the hardest part for most people that want to get into drawing (MEEE MY SKETCHES ARE NEVER RIGHT)

6 years, it’s been 6 whole years since I’ve seen this video again. This was my first time ever seeing an undertale speedpaint of Asgore, and it’s still my top favorite along with your underfell sans one.
I love the detail, i love Asgore, I LOVE THESE DRAWINGS, THEY ARE AWESOME. Colouring is one of the harderst things, i ussually do monochromatic drawings, so i find this amazing. Keep up this amazing work

You can't imagine the heavy responsibility and burden he had to endure to keep up hope in the Underground. He didn't want to fight, but he had to. I recommend for undertale, either some underfell, or alphys in a cheery mood, for SU, sugalith smashing stuff ( garnet and may these, I think that's the fusion name) and for Nintendo, draw some good old smash bros, like pikachu doing thunderbolt but then link deflects it with his shield while Mario throws fox, something cool! Anyway, great vid! This looks great!!

Hey, I'm not going to lie, your my favorite artist. I want to become good at drawing, and stay as an inspiration for my little sister, who also watches your speed paintings ^^! I had a late approach to art, but thoroughly enjoy it, I'm adjusting to my Huion tablet, that isnt a pressure pen, so its a little tricky. although all self thought, i am always feeling a little lost in shading, texture, shines and anatomy sometimes. I don't think i will ever get really good at drawing like you, so I had to put myself on a weekly schedule otherwise i'll be too lazy. I recommend for undertale, either some underfell, or alphys in a cheery mood, for SU, sugalith smashing stuff ( garnet and may these, I think that's the fusion name) and for Nintendo, draw some good old smash bros, like pikachu doing thunderbolt but then link deflects it with his shield while Mario throws fox, something cool! Anyway, great vid! This looks great!!

Hey, I'm not going to lie, your my favorite artist. I want to become good at drawing, and stay as an inspiration for my little sister, who also watches your speed paintings ^^! I had a late approach to art, but thoroughly enjoy it, I'm adjusting to my Huion tablet, that isnt a pressure pen, so its a little tricky. although all self thought, i am always feeling a little lost in shading, texture, shines and anatomy sometimes.
I don't think i will ever get really good at drawing like you, so I had to put myself on a weekly schedule otherwise i'll be too lazy. You must have heard this a hundred times from so many other people inspired by your skill, but you really push me to draw, to express and to accomplish. You really don't understand how grateful I am, Or maybe ever will be. It amazes me that you claim look up to other artists, because i didn't know there was something above the pinnacle of art! Sorry for rambling... but... you mean allot to your nearly 80K fan-base. Each is an individual with their own story.. how they see art and what you make them strive for. Christ. I am rambling. I just wanted to say,
