That's how I learned, so keep on going and don't stop! :D

in undertale you either see with the perspective of chara, battle and frisk, everything in color. now what you draw, may be how everything really looks like. also we never see a monster die in color.

They got quite the straight hair after fighting an anthropomorphic goat mom with flaming magic, a cool skeleton that loves pasta that impales you with bones, and running away from a fish lady dressed in menacing armor whom tries to shank you with spears countless times. Frisk should wear a tutu.
