So...my new TimberTech Vintage PVC deck ($25k materials only!) has a 50 year fade warranty. Is this true, or will I need to revitalize after 8yrs? About 25% is always in the shade.
Could you pump a spray the railing? I have one with a railing to do.
Can this be done with a deck that trex was used ( the deck was made in the back of house about 8 yrs ago & used the select trex )
Is there a point where the cleaning and restore won't work. My Timbertech Rails and Outer boards are XLM and look super oxidized compared to the deck boards.

Should take about 2 hours cleaning it and using the revitalizer. Course you'll have to wait in between to make sure the deck is dry before you start with revitalizer.
Is this for wood decks only or for composites also?
This is for composite decks
I can no longer recommend composite deck coverings for clients without letting them know the truth. They are not maintenance free as advertised by the marketing and require annual cleaning just like wood decks. They are extremely hot to bare feet in full sun, unlike wood. The sun/UV will damage the top layer and will look very poorly after a couple of years just like wood that is not maintained. Very noticeable expansion and contraction at the joints/seems. Plastic hardware to secure the planks as in "hidden fasteners" routinely break and snap off causing loose planks. Very slippery in the winter or when wet. Companies that sell it will not recommend a rejuvenation product (even though there are some out there) only to clean. Cleaning does help but will not bring back fading. Very over costly to install, and since it does not out last wood either by the sun damage, UV, and weather they look terrible after a few years. So, are these systems designed to be replaced every few years? I will say they look great when properly installed at first, but it is all downhill from there. Wood also needs to be cleaned, stained, treated, or painted every so many years but will last a long time if you do it and look good, composite will get worse and worse over time and there is little you can do about it. I inspect these systems regularly and have seen them firsthand. I let clients know so they understand and ensure their expectations are real.
The other truths are, the manufactures are making the planks with less and less material, they are weaker and weaker planks. Although they advertise that you can install after removing old wood planks, you will most likely need to add additional joists to support the planks, most wood decks are on 16" centers at best the composite needs 12". Again costly. The best installation is one without plank seams, very much impossible with larger decks since the material generally stops at 18' and very restrictive in colors. So solid boards for trim on picture frame are mostly available at 8' especially from the box stores. So, you must design a seam into the plan.
This is my experience and observation, but like the electric car, there is the dream and there is reality.

Ours is 10 years old probably and I've revitalized it six or seven times since we got it. It definitely oxidizes every year
