Nice selection, though I think the Winter League Pullover by Alexandra Tavel is not free..
Thank you for your comment! I did indeed see a 8.18 usd charge on the Ravelry page, but in the pattern notes it links to the free version as a blogpost, so it is available for free after all! I could have specified that a bit better, though ❤
@@emmascraftcorner oh I see, thank you for the clarification!
Drops' web site is invaluable to help with their patterns. They have many videos showing you how to do certain, perhaps tricky parts in their patterns to help. They have so many gorgeous patterns and choosing the yarn is a breeze with all the substitutes you could use right there. A one stop shop.
Oh yes, I love the drops website! I've knitted some of their summer tops over the summer and especially with using their yarn, it's a great affordable way to knit! ❤️
What is their (sp?) website 1:38
Love several of patterns you’ve shared. Will definitely be adding three to my library.
I'm glad you liked the video! ❤️
Love the cables on the Pandora Mixed Cables Pullover!
They are incredible indeed! ❤️
Love that Hokkaido sweater. With stripes of course. Thank you, Emma.
Oh yes, the Hokkaido looks so incredible! The stripes really finish the look ❤️
Thank you for these lovely suggestions.
Glad you like them! 🥰❤️
Hard to pick a favorite! Such beautiful pieces. I'm still a newer knitter (about a year since I started) but I'm very adventurous so I have done some of the Arne & Carlos color work. I love that Xmas tree yoked sweater and the ivory all over cabled sweater. Thanks for the video. I just found you today
Thank you so much for your lovely comment! I started knitting almost exactly a year ago, so it looks like we're in the same boat! If you've done some Arne & Carlos colorwork, the Santa baby sweater must definitely be doable. The handsome Chris pullover is currently so high on my list! I wish you a lot of fun with knitting and I hope to maybe welcome you into my comment section again soon ❤️🥰
I’m making “The Classic” sweater from Espace Tricot and I love it! The fit is actually fantastic, and the raglan is a 4 row repeat with KFB increases so I didn’t have to pay attention to direction of M1R/L! Free patterns are so underrated.
I'm currently knitting a pattern with kfb increases. It's my first time using them and I love it so far! Glad you liked this video 🥰❤️
amazing really needed these free patterns
I'm glad you liked this video! Is there anything in particular that you would like to knit? ❤️
Ohh thank you veeery much for sharing! I was in search for some project to work on and I found inspiration! ♥️🥰
Oh that's so great to hear, thank you! ❤️ Which patterns inspired you?
@@emmascraftcorner I saved three patterns: the warm-up sweater, the hokkaido sweater and as i have never knitted colorwork santababy would. be something to work for next winter 🤩
I love the Christmas one and the stripes with great high neck
Agreed! 😁
great suggestions. i really love the winter league and hokkaido.
Those are great indeed! ❤️
Thank you 😊
I haven't seen even 5 seconds of your video, but I saw the Midnights vinyl + knitting and I absolutely had to click the subscribe button. I also love your plant in the corner! It looks very cute :)
Welcome aboard! I'm so happy to have you here ❤️
I wish I had the time to make these. That last one is perfect for Christmas, maybe next year.
Haha, "I wish I had the time" is a phrase I've been repeating to myself pretty much every day. There are so many nice patterns out there! And yes, there's always next year
I like your sweather which you are wearing
Could you please give me the idea for neck, thank you.
Hi Arada, thank you for your comment! I knit this sweater when I was very new to knitting and I had no idea what I was doing. I didn't use a pattern, but I think this neckline most resembles a boatneck. Maybe you could check out this pattern by drops: www.garnstudio.com/pattern.php?id=9006&cid=19
Bedankt voor het delen :)
Filcolana has some very creative patterns. I am currently knitting the Neptun sweater by Gitte Juhler from the site. The Victoria pattern is just....the sleeves! I will definitely be trying that diagonal criss cross color stripe sweater from them!
The Filcolana patterns are definitely the biggest discovery for me! Before making this video I barely knew of their existence, but while researching I realised that I had pulled so many patterns by them that I really had to cut it down 😅 the Neptun sweater looks gorgeous too by the way, I hope yours turns out just how you want it to be ❤
Dank je wel! I never knew this existed before now :)
thanks for sharing! I think they are all pretty sweaters in their own way, I tend to go to more simple ones because I feel the bulk of heavy cables is not flattering on me, even though I find them nice on others. I also prefer to knit with smaller needles/fingering weight around that. All that being said maybe choosing something with a little twist I would go with the Biarritz, as it has flair 🧶🧶🧶
The Biarritz would be the perfect change from simpler designs, you should totally go for it! ❤️
@@emmascraftcorner yes! I just have to deal with an infinite wishlist and only 2 hands and finite time! 😂😂😂😂
Great selection! Thank you for sharing! Any suggestions for free, raglan, v neck, buttonband simultaneously knit with the cardigan, pattern? I’ve looked on Ravelry, but have not had any luck.
Thank you again for all of your hard work, and sharing with this knitting community! ❤
Oof, that's a big task! I can find some patterns that might be to your liking on Drops, but the buttonbands aren't knit simultaneously with the cardigan sadly. Maybe you could alter the button band from the patterns that otherwise fully qualify?
@@emmascraftcorner thank you for that suggestion! ❤️
I wish that the Winter League patter was free. I have seen it several times.
The pattern actually is free! When you go to the Ravelry page, you'll find a link to a blogpost with the pattern. The pdf version is paid, but the blogpost is not. Happy knitting! ❤️😅
Thanks. I found it
Thank you for this, but please stop saying “inclusive” all the time - I know it’s the buzzword de jour, but it’s off putting!
What's the issue with the word ? It describes well, in a single word, an idea that would waste a lot of time being said some other way. It's a perfect match !
@@Rubikorigami it carries far too much baggage to have any utility anymore.
Hi Kerie, thank you so much for your comment! I do recognize that "inclusive" has become a bit of a buzzword, but I still feel like it was important to mention it in a video where I discuss knitting patterns. I see no benefit in mentioning patterns and getting people excited to knit them only to have them realize that the pattern does not come in their size. In a broader way, I also feel like the discussion on inclusivity is important to have in the knitting community. This is a hobby that should be available to everyone, both by means of money for the materials and the sizes of patterns. The growing controversy around big designers like My favourite things knitwear and Petite knit teaches us that people do care about making this hobby inclusive and as someone who has a platform (however small) on the internet, I feel like I can not ignore that.
@@emmascraftcorner thank you for taking my comment in the spirit it was intended! "Range of sizes" might be a good phrase, or "versatile pattern"?
