hell yeah man, glad to see it moving under it's own power! The normal 997 clutch slave you didn't use is a hydraulically boosted slave cylinder, you need that extra boost for the aggressive Porsche clutch but no issue for the RPS triple disc. Glad you were able to do the GT2 swap, it's such a no-brainer and a much easier install.
You really had a vision and hit it out of the park. I looked at some other RS builds on the internet and nothing compares to the fit and finish of your build. It really looks like a production bespoke car.
Imagine being the neighbour and every now and then hearing a rivet gun or a drill something mundane and then one day the door opens in this thing comes out LOL well done

When it comes to technical innovation, prototype development and manufacturing the British are up there with the world's very, very best hence the reason why so many Formula One Grand Prix racing teams are British or based in Great Britain. But when it comes to long term investment and commitment to 'go it alone' mass production and world marketing we are, with few exceptions, next to hopeless, especially in the automotive field. You have good reason to be very proud of your creation my friend. Top of the shop. Well done. Adrenalin is the most expensive drug of them all.

There was a time when British cars and engines dominated the American 'Indy' car scene with Reynard, Lola, March and Cosworth reigning supreme. Sadly they have all now succumbed and disappeared (Cosworth is now German) which supports my reasoning but to suggest anything English (I think you mean British) is garbage is way off the mark. We're brilliant engineers, designers, technologists and innovators with a positive 'can do' attitude but long term finance and global marketing is our perennial problem as proven with the examples I have given here.

Fantastic build! Have watched all the episodes and was very impressed at how well thought out everything was done. For track days, my only thought was whether or not you’ll pass the decibel meter test. Makes for a lousy track day when you pack, travel, unpack and prepare only to find out you’re too loud to run. It does sound amazing. Again kudos to a project well done and well presented
Thankfully the tracks near me don't have a decibel limit. The closest track to me runs Top Fuel dragsters and jet cars at their quarter mile strip and nothing is louder than those.

I have an 11 second 6000lbs truck and I could put my finger on what I wanted to build next, I knew I wanted light, tubed chassis rear engine animal that hooks….. I guess we’ll have to see if you can come close hooking on a 60 mph roll with those R888!!! You are meticulous and methodical!!! It shows in the build quality!🔥🔥😱

I did notice in the video that you added a windscreen banner in orange wrap, did you do this to cut light or to make the front of the car look more pleasing. I always thought that the Ultima was a bit square on the top of the windscreen, this looks better with this as in orange, it extends the body visually.
Your passion for your thing is a thing I can get behind. Your craftsmanship and commitment is commendable. Your ability to manage frustration and iteration is inspiring. The part where that thing wakes the dead- not cool. Put a cutout on it and play the loud pedal when you aren’t pissing off people just tying to live their lives. It sounds awesome. But wow, noise is noise.
That’s some excellent fabricating. Haven’t seen any other Ultima builds, but I have no doubt this is one of the cleanest. Can’t wait to see this thing in action.

I found the build maybe 5 months ago or so and have watched every episode you've uploaded since. I am eager to see it completed and for you to do some performance testing against some "benchmark" cars. Maybe once you get done with this build and have enjoyed it for awhile you will begin another build. Your attention to detail and amount of effort you've put into building something really special makes me hope that you find another platform to build. Like a twin turbo Voodoo powered GT40 or something along those lines. I can't think of an UA-camrs that have tackled a build of this caliber off the top of my head and I fully believe that you could really build an extremely successful channel using this project as a springboard for other products. It's actually incredible that you built your own supercar not many people can say that. With these things people make the mistake of thinking it's about the cost (I doubt this was cheap) and that they can get a supercar for nothing. It's about building something with your own hands and as a side bonus something that looks really fucking cool.

Yeah it's the camera frame rate and the refresh rate of the LEDs playing tricks on each other. Our eyes see the lights as a continuous beam, but they are actually flickering really fast.

One of the best things about these cars is that sick exhaust sound!, an electric motor or a Tesla would not provide that so unless you are adding speakers?!🤷🏽♂️

Basically meaning,... nobody will ever know that car the way you do. It's a gorgeous build brother. And it'll always be a little cooler than the car next to you. They bought theirs already built,...and you built yours. That makes it so much cooler imo.

It's how the RS looks from the factory so I ordered the vinyl kit they sell. It changes the lines completely.

that front lift system is incredibly good. The only system faster that I have seen is on the Ford gt.
