the “my brother” from trevor was honestly really sad
and it obviouslly was deleted cause it turnes out that Trevor didn't really liked Brad that much. The whole thing was just a matter of principle for him.
@@slash2450Trevor didn't care so much about Brad as he got upset over Michael selling him out and treating him as a disposable battery, at least that's what the final dialogue leads us to believe.
Besides, not many insights into Michael and Trevor's friendship/acquaintance with Brad are into story, but indeed we know that Michael and Trevor were good friends before the North Yankton incident
@@slash2450 I don't like what they did there. Trevor clearly liked Brad and most likely looked up to him. They made Ending C seem really happy and cheesy.
Trevor's constant breathing just crept me out after hearing it for a while lol

I think the decision to delete these lines was correct. Some of the lines spread hatred of Michael and Trevor towards each other. However, deep inside they don't hate each other. The final version of cutscene leaves player some room to wonder, whether Michael and Trevor wanted to kill each other, whether Trevor really hated Michael. Rockstar's decision was aimed at creating doubt in players' heads when picking the final ending. The final versoin of cutscene is a piece of puzzle that leans us towards picking ending C.
Trevor wanted to kill Michael but his gun jammed so he threw it at him. You can even hear him pull the trigger just before he runs away.
@@wakkowarner3716I don't think it jammed. Trevor just didn't put any bullets into it. I guess he was aware of his anger issues and didn't load the gun. His behaviour after Bury the Hatchet and after Deathwish/The Time has Come confirms, that even though Trevor was really mad at Michael, deep inside he cared about him.

Trevor's and Michael's relationship was always kinda hazy for me at the start but I always knew Trevor would forgive Michael eventualy.
strong disagree. i like these lines better and with the hesitation in the voices it sounds like "heat of the moment" death lies and betrayal over 10 years culminating to who you thought was your best friend
I think we can say with surety that when Franklin takes the call to kill Trevor, Michael gladly assists Frank especially after hearing about Trevor talking about raising his son.
Michael was terrified of what Trevor would do to his family but this deleted scene basically confirms his worst fears. To Mike, the decision was clear as day.
Yeah it makes more sense now.
Now this comment would make it clear that Trevor would surely die for Franklin or Michael in option A And more like in the game they refer to his death in an ironic way
I wish someone would animate the cutscenes with the extra dialogue. That would be neat.
For the people calling the video fake or saying that this whole cutscene is in the final game: Look the original cutscene up on any video. You'll see that some of the dialogue present in this video is missing in the final game. Do your research before spewing nonsense on the internet.
If anyone is wondering, the audios origin is from a ps3 development kit. Unfortunately all that was archived at first was deleted data of builds ranging from 2012-2013. Unfortunately the person who owned it was apparently hunted down by taketwo private investigators and eventually confiscated the ps3. The worst mistake they made was not releasing anything to the public as they wanted fame and attention as I remember hearing they were only a teenager. This was around 2017-2018 I believe, this information can be found on gta forums from years ago. Only sound clips like this one and some music survived.

Yeah, it's a shame the kid was so attention hungry. There could have been a lot of other interesting stuff in that dev kit that we'll never see now. If you've got anything interesting like that, just upload it anonymously and let others spread it around.

I'm not surprised and you shouldn't be too, to see GTA fans calling this fake or AI generated. They are constantly fed misinformation thanks to the clickbating nonsense GTA Channels posting on UA-cam. If you got functioning ears you'd notice how the dialogue is smooth, continuous and fits in perfectly. For those wondering where the sound effects are, they are added after the models and scenes are made.

Not gonna lie, the extra dialogue makes this scene feel more real and dramatic, brings the extra feel of Trevor feeling betrayal from Michael, and some of what was said in the final game would’ve made more sense between the dialogue with the two of them in this scene, not sure why rockstar cut most of it out.

The lines are really good but the grunts are annoying so it's good they removed them

This is more of a raw recording from the studio, in game with the background music and other sounds they don't stand out as much. They might have even lowered the volume in some spots in the final build

Those were all dialogue lines that were supposed to be inside of the game. When a black screen was shown over the cutscene as Michael and Trevor were talking, those were cut scenes that were supposed to be added to the game but were removed.

I find it extremely odd that Micheal would make a reference to his slow motion shooting ability here of all places
The “slow mo ability” is just a game mechanic meant to represent Michael’s skills at shooting, like the dead eye mechanic in Red Dead. No; Michael, Arthur, and John cannot slow down time to fire their guns but they’re all exceptionally skilled with guns, you can’t show skill in games when you control someone else, so an ability like slow mo for the player lets that skill still be in game despite the character not really being in control
@@lobaandrade7172 in Chop and the online dlc, Lamar refers to Franklin’s Power and I believe they refer to Trevor’s power as well. They seem to be cannon things they have and canonically use if other characters comment on it
@@minor_change5116 the reference that Lamar makes to Franklins power is not Lamar saying “wow Frank you can slow down time” it’s that when we as the players slow down time as Franklin while driving, it’s a representation of Franklin’s concentration (hence his facial expression looking funny/weird) and skill when behind the wheel.
As for Trevor’s ability, no one says “Trevor, you’re invincible when you’re mad”, it’s that he feels less pain from all the drugs he’s on and he’s always pissed

The time slowing down is only in their head, like how our own perception of time naturally changes
Those dialogs were too dark even for Rated-M
The missing scenes makes this scenes more complete and shows the Hatred between Micheal and Trevor perfectly and also keeps the foreshadowing for ending A (or B if I'm correct) Where Micheal Kills Trevor if Franklin doesn't do it in time. Perfect dialogues cut and trimmed to fit in the game length. Those foreshadows between this scene complete and the trimmed scene, with the endings. Since it makes more sense why the game wanted Micheal to kill Trevor in ending A and Franklin to kill micheal in ending B. Perfect foreshadowing

AI is not that perfect after all. This video is definitely not fake, you can literally hear it. I have heard many AI generated voices but these lines are definitely real. You can feel the emotions, you can hear breaths that no AI is able to produce under normal circumstances. To anybody thinking it is fake, rewatch the original cutscene and listen to the excluded dialogues in this video. Then you will 100% understand this is not fake.
For those who dont get it, the person who uploaded the video had these unused voice clips, and they peiced the clips into the parts where they make sense

Very interesting, but I agree with most of the cuts as they improve the pace of the scene noticeably. Still, they do fill out some of this conflict a little more.

I think before the final version of this cutscene, Michael's family was not supposed to come back, as he supposedly hates his son.

i dont know why they cut the lines when mike and trev are doin a mexican standoff it fits well, when the normal version feels unfilled and kinda weird well to me at least.
I said before that GTA V has a great story in my opinion, it’s just not for everyone, and that’s okay. The whole choice in the end is based on who you think is the immediate problem based on your perception of the story and Franklin’s interactions with Michael and Trevor. I think the dialogue was cut to make it easier to decide which of the two is correct for the final choice. Had it been this way, the conflict would likely be even more intense, making the decision more difficult.

if you still want to believe trevor didn’t really want to shoot michael, another explanation is that trevor purposely unloaded his gun beforehand, knowing he might impulsively attempt to shoot michael and regret it. not necessarily an interpretation i believe but i don’t see why it couldn’t be true

DD you Notice Trevor throws gun at Michael .Michael shoots an unarmed Trevor as he runs to gate.
This way more emotional and makes Trevor's dialogue make more sense i wish they kept this in the game
There is a video by @supertype1792 that has been unlisted for some time now that includes this cut audio but has way more.
Including The Sharmoota job, Magenta missions, Mrs A and Mrs B, a "Dale" mission, "Bury the hatchet removed dialogue," Mr Richards with a different voice actor, and a few more.

Personally I think it couldn’t have hurt to include those sections in official game. The constant pauses, slight nods to their relationship. It leads to in my opinion a much more in depth back and forth between them.

This video was probably made out of audiofiles from the original game folder. The voice recordings used in the video were originally without gunshots or any other noises. Besides, you should listen closely to the voicelines. Those little breathes, voicecracks, emotions in the voice are definitely not the work of AI. You can hear that's original voices of Ned Luke and Steven Ogg. There is no that fake "flavour" added to the voice by the AI. I listened to this several times,it is definitely real.
You can't get that much variation in tone from AI
Heres a question how empty is your head? AI voices are not perfect.
