Cool to see east coast specs next to "cali" set up. looks like you're going places man! Heavy haul looks like a great job w your gear! Cheers from santa Cruz ca and again really nice transports
Thanks. No show trucks but they work. The west coast and east coast setups definitely have their places. We actually just bought a 55ton 3-1 etnyre also. I will be doing a video on that in the next week or so. Thanks for the support.
In Australia we got them with M drive 12speed MP10 engine with 685hrs power. And in my company we got Kenworths too, but I prefer Mack over the Kenworth with cummins.
Automatic with manual auxiliary has been around for many years; I'd love to get behind the wheel of something like this and find out exactly how they work. That truck looks very nice.
It was nice. We sold it though. It pulled really well in direct or the reduction gears. In OD, it didn’t pull so well. To change the aux box you had to have the Allison in neutral. No shifting of the aux while the truck was moving with the auto.
I’ve been told Sometimes the air shifters inside the trans will go bad and the trans will change gears on its own, thus causing it to grenade itself. I think that’s what happened here.
Horses for courses. A proper automatic on a truck doing heavy haulage is a very good idea, especially with the "ability" of most of the available drivers these days.
As an 18- speed manual driver from when they very first came out, I thought nothing of them either… until I drove the ultramatic. Now knowing how to shift from the days of yore, I quickly found out that you keep it in the M mode always. Only where I would’ve had to skip gears do I ever use auto. I love it, just like a rally car or a corvette. If I couldn’t shift it myself, no. That it’s a paddle shift, no different than shifting a five and four. All in the fuel pedal.👊🏾👌🏾

In Australia a Mack titan is a Heavier speckled truck
because in Australia they usually haul multiple trailers and more weight than most do state side.
They have the MP10 up to 685 hp and 2300 LB Feet of torque
Nice truck I like Mack Titans I wish this one was a Tri-Dive/8x6 though it would look even better still nice truck.
Thank you

Mdrive is just the Volvo Ishift which is actually an automated manual transmission, it is way different than this setup.

OKS !! With that setup in gearing ,,what happened to the "AUX"". to cause a failure of just bad driving by previous owners ???

@@truckingforboatparts5838 OKS !! Bad design by "SPICER" then !!! Kinda sounds like some trucks/cars that jump into gear out of PARK !!
Heavy duty 👍
Titan rules!
Sick looking truck. How's shifting an auxiliary with an automatic transmission?
don’t shift the aux on the fly. Just when the trans is in neutral and sitting still.
For how much .. I like it
How can I reach out on this truck? I’m interested if you want to sell?
We sold it about 4 months ago.
Does this mean you can't drive a manual?
looks like an australian Mack
Do you still have the Titan? Is it still for sale?
No. Sold it to a company out of Houston.
Old trans American truck?
Yes
Thought it was an Aussie Prime Mover. Beautiful girl nonetheless
not Australian, sorry. Thanks
You hire out of Houston?
no, sure don't. sorry
Cool
Good
Thanks

I threw up in my mouth from the title of this video alone lol. At least you prolly have wicked good air conditioning lol.

Buying a truck with automatic means not really a trucker!
