Get these kids today off the electronics and back out into the world. This is awesome. I can remember leaving the house on my BMX bike and not coming home till dark. Kids can still play games, just doing more physical activity is what they need.
could you imagine going back and looking at these videos 10-years or so from toady and 1 or more of these little kids are smashing SX/MX championships, it all starts here, great job David P, spend time with the kids and hopefully get them off the phone and game counsels
I always rode my xr 70 every day that i could in my parents yard. Had like 4 whoops, id always stretch it by wheeling them. My cousin and I also made a berm that was fun to rail and hit a single jump that we made with throwing some dirt over some concrete blocks. Got in some big trouble, but it was a sick track.
DP's new video series ... how to be a mini mx Dad! My 5yr olds first race is in 2 months, any newbie tips on bike setup and and first time racer advice would be awesome
Been riding for 33 yrs, never raced mx though, I would have been more a gncc myself. My son has been riding since 2.5yrs. he says he's ready to go, so I got him an ama membership, just waiting for weather to break (Ohio), and the schedule. But yeah I got some tools and a couple bikes🤘
@@adrenaholic1 I would make sure you have the low down of the track : parking, pit, process, so he can't be embarrassed before he even rides. I'd go to a few open night practices first for familiarity of the track, see if he's still enthused. Might change mind? Don't know your boy. If he fucks up 10 things in a lap, praise the bejesus out of the 2 things he did right. You're his best friend, mentor, god on some levels. Over jump rather than under and get a neck brace if you don't have one. Don't want him having neck problems before grandkids right?
This is what it's all about guys. I love this.
Very nice! 👍👍

My first bike with a clutch was a ktm 65
Learning to ride on Honda fun bikes was easily the best days I’ve ever had on a dirt bike
Did u also teach your moustache how to ride the fifty?

Is he ready to race or are you ready for him to race? Do you personally race? Not being a smart ass.

Thanks we're itching to get out there and have a fun/safe summer. With 4 tracks that are about an hr away from home we got a lot to learn for sure.
