I’m gonna re order all the oem suspension parts (well the cheap knock offs) and coat them in plasti-dip and see if that helps with the rusting and corrosion.
Try using an air gun on a compressor to remove the failed clear coat, blow it towards the area thats already failed and the air should get under the clear coat and blast it off.
The poor quality of the Mountune lip spoiler is all too common. The clear coat is failing on mine too, despite having only been fitted in July 2022. Although purchased direct from Mountune, it was supplied via (Mexico based) VUHL Composites. Mountune do not appear to actually make many, if indeed any of the parts they supply. Preferring instead to buy in products from other manufacturers and just have the Mountune brand/logo appended (e.g. Samco hoses, Fourdot number plates, Cobb Accessport, Goodridge braided lines etc.). When the spoiler deteriorates further, I will remove it and consign it to the bin. I now recognise this (like many of the Mountune supplied parts that I've purchased) is an over-priced piece of tat.
Hi Adam. Brilliant video yet again. If I was you I would send that mountune spoiler lip to paintmodz. They will sort that no problem
You are pretty far North there in “Norn Iron” Adam - if that was on my car here in South Florida it wouldn’t last 6 months 😂

Well said mate
I would of wet sanded the clear coat off then polished up and resealed
Don't judge just on this video, this was literally just the start of the process. Sand paper is involved but defo not polish on raw carbon
Those parts look amazing Adam great job mate is that piece of carbon a snorkle intake?
I'd have been straight on the phone to them asking for a replacement spoiler ,, 😮🤬😱
