- On this episode we head over once again to visit Uncle & Courtney from Unique Automotive to get a regular service and check up on our daily driver, Project Lexus which is a 1999 jzs160 Lexus GS300. While we were there i had the discussion with uncle about the possibility of doing a NA-T conversion on the car and doing it on a really low budget with a ebay turbo kit.

Uncle is pretty cool. I learned a lot listening to him in this vid
Uncle is right about the bag for the oil filter very good advice
I just saw you on Australia got talent, you've grown so much my god, ima subscribe cause you pretty funny
Uncles back, you gotta start making more vids man of the supra and uncle
I know will try our best... $$$$ and time is the biggest problem as usual hahaha
You guys are hilarious lol love the content
Uncle is a Gem!
the difference between a 2JZGE non-vvti VS 2JZGE vvti are the rods, the non-vvvti have the thicker supra rods that can handle anywhere fro 600-700hp and the vvti engines have thinner pencil rods can only only 400ish hp
So the non-vvti is better ???
Yes sir the non vvti is better than the GE vvti
@@eduardogonzalez8403 the no vvti is better because of the rods but it has distributor ignition which in high boost setups causes spark blow out unless you run a spark booster(HKS dli etc). Also the distributor gets in the way of the turbo. Yes you can delete or convert it at a price. The vvti however has coil on plug and a bit more torque at low end cuz of vvti.
Drift Performance what I’m doing is... I bought a 2jzge vvti and already bought pistons and rods for it... now I have both 😋
@@eduardogonzalez8403 I've got a 2jz ge vvti as well. will be running 10psi and 400hp which is around what the rods can handle. I will be getting some ge pistons instead of gte because they are cheap as chips.
By the way you also can open and close the windows with your remote, just hold the unlock or lock till the open or close.
great intro!
At 10:01 my dad his mark x has the same thing when you turn the key at the left it rolls down the window
What grill is this? Can you post a link? Nice video uncle is the man
if you hold down your unlock button on your key fob you can drop all the windows too, you just cant roll them back up.
you trying to convince your wife to get the other car was hilarious! I pulled a fast one on my wife for my 06 M5, told her it was just a 5 series that was in great condition and super low miles and we can keep it for a long time. As soon as I brought it home she said "wtf is that, that's not the same car you showed me" LOL. Better to do it and ask for forgiveness later i say.
4:29 “it’s not like it’s an rb” like wow😳
If you hold the unlock button on your gs key it should roll all the windows down
BTW yes yoy can put the windows down and sunroof open just hold the unlock button
Hey man where did you het the headers ? I’m looking for one for my Lexus is300 and I can’t find one like that... thanks
Hey Daniel.
Have you checked the Lexus LFA in forza horizon 4?
If not do a video.
They did a good job on the sound so please do a video with it.
Hi I'm planning to buy an Aristo very soon, do you have any tips or something for me when buying one and maybe some mods?
I might be wrong, but the main difference between 2jz-ge vvti and non-vvti is thats the rods on the vvti is weaker compared the the non-vvti. I believe non vvti shares the same rod as a 2jz-gte.
correct
And the pistons are different too, gte have thicker pistons for more boost
@human carsounds, 2jzge non vvti has same rods and crank as gte, 2jzge vvti has much thinner rods
Hey champ can I please get the link to the EBAY lip you've got?
Where can I find those tail lights.??.
the 2jzge in other countries have the gte pistons?!?
Does uncle do all the fittings etc for NA-T Gs300? I do have a bolt on turbo kit but no way to control fuel :( so haven't installed it yet.... BTW cxracing's kits are basically ebay parts branded...
is cx racing kit good?
You can open all windows and sunroof with the unlock button held down!! Just dont hold down lock button though.
*BEEEP BEEEP BEEEP BEEEP*
GE has weaker rods then GTE but the GE IN Supra and gs and IS all have the weaker rods compared to the GTE and Lexus keys do the window as well, just hold the unlock button down.
That shit is hilarious
Hey mate could u link all the parts plz
All gte motors have the thick rods, any vvti n/a 2jz has thinner rods but the non vvti n/a 2jz has thicker rods
So what should I do to make the vvti n/a 2jz hella quicker and what should I do about the differential
2jzgte and 2jzge have same rods but different piston and compression.
2jzge vvti have weaker rods.
Gte have oil squirters also
2jzge non vvti is the best out of them all with mordern fuels such as e85. 10.5:1 compression.
I’m currently about to purchase a Sc300 with the 2jz ge and was thinking about swapping the engine but I’m so confused on what’s a 2jz na-t? Can someone please explain to me or link me to a forum
Na-t is basically just installing a turbo on the 2jzge with supporting mods.

In the UK if you see a yellow car you punch the other person and shout yellow car 🤣
0:17 Wow
yep. he's the same dude from australia's got talent 2012. he makes really good impressions.
Yeah the streets of cabra
non vvti ge has big rods, vvti has small rods. it's not a matter of supra ge's being stronger it's a matter of whether the motor is vvti or not. later model a80 supra's also got the weaker vvti ge motor.
The rods on a gte are stronger that plus ge's are higher compression. Also my neighbor has a 2004 nissan altima that will roll down all the windows from the button on the key fob lmfaoo.
Crank and rods are the exact same on the GE and GTE from what i understand. The only difference in the bottom end is the piston heads themselves from what i understand. I very well could have heard wrong information but that's what I have heard many times
@@wdml5171 For the GE and GTE VVTI the gte has thicker connecting rods and has lower compression pistons. The GE VVTI has thinner rods and higher compression pistons. Now for the non VVTI the GE and GTE both use the same rods I think the pistons are still different tho.
oil squirters def not nessicary and the non vvti rods def thicker. facts
villawood maccas lmao
Those Asian "men" talk from experience 😂😂
Sauce fiend
HAHA!
That poor skyline. Someone wash it
Dad called she was pregnant at the wedding see even talking about kids
Nath Hyslop hahah dead ! 🤣🤣🤣
lexus 2jz's have skinnier rods than na supra 2jz. fact not myth.
Unless it's the mk1 gs300 with the non-vvti 2jz-ge. That has the thicker rods used in the GTE and non-vvti supra
1st gen gs300 and sc300 have tt rods
STAY HOME!!!
