Hey guys and welcome to Mad About Skin where in todays video we are talking NIOD and how this advanced skincare brand is back with new product launches and more stock of their amazing products. NIOD is one of my favourite skincare brands so I wanted this to be a NIOD review with a focus on my NIOD favourites and the changes which are coming up.
In this video I share with you the NIOD products which are worth the price and I would certainly think of picking up while we wait for the release of new NIOD products.
NIOD is owned by Deciem, the parent company which also owns the ordinary skincare and produces some of the most innovative skincare on the market.

When Deciem has their sale in November, that’s pretty much all I buy from the Niod line.

I use NIOD and they are a fantastic brand. I don’t think they are stale- people who use NIOD know that the products work. I do think the product names are confusing. I think they could do with an updated look. I am excited for new products as CAIL is the last significant product they added a couple of years back.
I can’t afford to be on Team NIOD. I’m so glad Deciem has put so much of their focus and resources into The Ordinary. But I look forward to seeing what NIOD does, just out of curiosity and the love of skincare!

I love both NIOD and The Ordinary. I regularly use the copper peptides from NIOD and I have really seen a difference in my skin. NIOD is expensive, but the copper peptide serum lasts me a very long time (I alternate days between that and the Geek & Gorgeous vitamin C), so I feel that it's totally worth the money.

Their copper lipid leaves my and my husband’s skin looking ethereal. HUGE fan. Didn’t think that was possible in a product.
I know right?? That product is one of the best if not the best product I have ever tried. A little goes a long way like all of their products so even though its a hefty price tag it works. Its magic in a tube!

I'm team BOTH! I I have 4 Niod products: Modulating Glucosides, Survival 0, Superoxide Dismutase Mist, & Fractunated Eye Contour Serum. I would have more if it wasn't so pricey. I will say that every product is worth the money. I have 7 The Ordinary products because they work well and are inexpensive.
Never used it. Look forward to hearing all about Niod. Lovely to spend a relaxing Saturday evening with you!

Love some of the Ordinary and some of the Niod products but they have put FECC up to £50 for 15mls, I just can't afford that anymore. Always enjoy the content Rob, appreciate all the research you do for us.x

TEAM NIOD! I feel like I can find replacements for all the ordinary products I use (I only really use the squalane cleanser and the peptide eye cream) but I can't really replace or dupe my favourite NIOD products. I love the Bio Lipid Concentrate, the Flavanone Mud (thanks for introducing me to it by the way), and CAIS/CAIL if I can get them at a good discount (thankfully they seem to discount them more than other products). I used to use Survival 0 a ton too but I have kind of stopped in favourite of more traditional Vit C serums. As you said, when NIOD products are good, they are unparalleled!
I’m just a Deciem fan in general. In Brandon we trust. FECC, CAIL, Flavanone Mud, and Re:Pigment are staples in my routine. I will definitely be checking the new products.
I do think when Brandon sadly passed the skincare world lost the best innovator there was.. he was a visionary and I dont think there is anyone even close to him in the industry right now.. love xx

I’m a die hard the ordinary fan bought everything upon launch and muddled through chucking it all on at random after watching skincare tutorials and the hype around it at launch. I still use a few things but I branched out 3\4 years ago and bought the niod fecc eye serum and I still use it to this day. I buy the big one every November in the sale and can just about spin it out to last me the year. I have the direst inner corner of my eyes. Concealer looks like a parched crack dessert after 10 mins once it’s soaked in and this is the only product that works . The Kiehl’s advocacies eye cream I love also but that seeps into my eyes so I just use this now. Not sure I will be buying all the new stuff unless the reviews are banging. I will always have FECC though as it’s all you need for the ageing eye area. Great video , and content . Really enjoying your channel and rapidly building trust as your skins flawless. Well done 😊xx

NIODINARY! I am a fan of both. Love the results I get with the FECC. And I agree about the mist. Really nice pump. I have too many Ordinary products to mention. Gotta love the effectiveness and price of The Ordinary products. Can’t wait to see what NIOD is coming out with. More excited to see the MAS rebrand, though! ❤️❤️❤️
P.S. I used the Flavanone Mud tonight. I forgot how amazing it is! Cleared out the sebaceous filaments on my nose in 10 minutes. I also forgot that it smells like barbecue sauce. 🤣

I’m so excited! Such an innovative brand. Even though the formations are stale I haven’t found a product with quite the calming capabilities of MG. I use their Survival 0 during the summer for the powerhouse antioxidants.

Both! Been using NEC, CAIS-3, and Survival0 of years. I also use an embarrassing amount of Ordinary products. Only really weak link is Deciem's vitamin Cs. I don't love Niod's price point, but I do love the products, especially CAIS-3. I've yet to find a copper peptide serum that gives me such direct results. Interested to see what else they do, but the new products will have to be miracle workers to make me shell out at Niod prices.. xx

Id be team niod if I could afford it. I think I'm sticking to k beauty and the ordinary.
I used to use so many NIOD products but out of necessity moved on to other brands cause it was becoming harder and find to the point I just couldn't find anything in stock.
I am very satisfied with the replacement products ( thanks to your recommendations !!!) which are also cheaper then NIOD ( TF, G&G, your products, etc) I don't see myself returning to NIOD.
I love my CAIL and stock up when they have their sale. I'm interested to see what they come out with especially since the new releases from the Ordinary recently have been very good and I was never impressed with the textures of their products. So I'm hoping Niod will also wow me.
I like them both, but I break out with the ordinary peptide serums, so I love Niods copper peptide serum and it doesn’t break me out but it’s expensive! I have just ordered mad about skin peptide serum and I can’t wait to try it ❤

Huge fan of both Niod and the Ordinary here. Probably 70/30 in favour of the Ordinary, but omg Niod is incredible and i couldn't live without some of their formulas. Love the Hydration Vaccine, the fractionated eye contour concentratte, and the copper peptide serum (i bought 4 of them when they were half price earlier this year!) 😊❤
I love the Fractionated Eye Contour Concentrate (FECC) that I splurged on last Slovember sale. I could see results of improvements in wrinkles and dark spots in a couple of weeks - that's so amazing. They unfortunately either are not selling well or overstocking it, because the product (according to the batch code on the box) are over 2 years old and same for what's in the store I visited. And the issue of not filling up the bottle (so many complaints online about 1/2 filled bottles) - I think it's simply evaporation since they are so old. So sad an excellent product like this had so many bad reviews and returns. I will definitely repurchase in the next Slovember sale.
Never heard of NIOD before today😳 and at 57… I’m a HUGE skincare fan!! The Ordinary I’m quite familiar with, and have purchased off and on throughout the years. I mean, their pricing alone is a huge incentive ❤❤
Anyway, I’m only 1.5 minutes into your tutorial… so, very excited to learn (and possibly purchase) about NIOD❤❤

I’m still using the SDSM mist and CAIS3 copper peptides serum every day. I also use the Sanskrit Saponins face wash every week and the Flavanone Mud mask both which have super helped with my sebaceous filaments.
That is a great news!!! As for me I am definitely NIOD team. There are some products I dont want to live without. But I miss some products of The Chemistry Brand as well, their hand creme was a magic in a tube.

I absolutely love the copper imino isolates with peptides. It is a luxury product for sure but I see such a phenomenal difference in my skin when I delve in and use a full tube up only using it at night. Sadly I am out ( a little does go a long way however) so I will have to wait for either their November sale or such. I do have the copper imino by itself and its lovely but that combo is the best! I adore the eye serum too. A little goes a very long way because like you said with the mud you do not have to slather on these products like some cheap ones to make them work.

You got me interested in Niod and I’m gratefull ❤ I use the mist, Re:pigment, Survival 0, CAIS and Hydration Vaccine daily. My skin has gone from feeling dry, tight and itchy to feeling comfortable. Not in a small part thanks to these products. Niod skincare works for me and the effects get better with long-term use.
I’m also glad you made me curious about the Flavanone Mud. It is the only product EVER that gives me the elusive ‘lit from within’ effect. The Voicemail Mask is lovely on nights when I want to go easy on the actives. When I wake up my skin feel so healthy, hydrated and soft. Love the Sanscrit Saponins and CAIL as well. The lip oil is a strange but effective serum. Couldn’t get the eye serum to work for me though.
The scents of Niod products can be weird but are also strangely comforting.
So yeah… Team Niod LOL. Fascinating brand and products. Ordinary products I use daily are the agireline, matrixyl and resveratrol serums.
I now realise you may be responsible for a big part of my skincare routine… 😊

Both! Ordinary is more reliably in stock. I would not want to be dependent on Niod. But I do enjoy picking up the odd Niod product for some variety.
I think this is a fair point.. I hope NIOD fix their stock levels x
At the Decem Slovember sale, I purchased the Saccharide Mist, 2 of the Fractionated Eye Treatment and the Copper Peptide. Love the mist and the eye treatment. Both give rapid results. I use the copper peptide because I believed in it so much, even though I don't know how much it helps my skin. I will rebuy them all.

I love NIOD and ordinary more than Korean skincare because i feel its easy to comprehend and incorporate in the routine. One knows exactly what they are putting on skin and what works what doesn't. For example copper peptide serum from NIOD works , it just works . So i removed azelaic acid in morning and changed the routine.
Now ecery single product i use ,i know will work synergistically to target my issues of melasma and anti-aging.
I am looking forward to the barrier support serum and many actives in one .

I have quite a few The Ordinary products in my routines. I use all three NMF moisturizers, all of the peptide serums, and the Pycnogenol (which I add a couple of drops to a dollop of the Q10 serum from The Inkey List on days when I don’t apply C).I’m using up the squalane cleanser and won’t repurchase it, but it works well to remove water resistant sunscreen from my body. I haven’t tried anything in the NIOD line. It’s a bit too pricey for me.

Sanskrit Saponins every other morning. Flavanone Mud every sunday night (Ordinary Salycilic mask in week). FECC at night (Medik8 Retinoate eye in a.m). Always have a place for NIOD. Its so true what you say about FECC. You don't appreciate how good it is, until you stop using it.
I know lol I wish I hadn't started using FECC again as now I am never being without it lol my wallet hates me x
I'm a big fan of the Copper Amino Isolate Lipid in the winter and the Superoxide Dismutase Mist year round and I stock up pretty heavily on both products during the sale (exciting this year to have a bonus sale on the copper peptide in January!). I've had trouble finding the eye serum in stock, so I'm hopeful that this update from Niod means that this will no longer be the case!

Been using Niod since Brandon was alive. Copper peptides and lipid cream as well as the Flav mud have been a lifesaver under pregnancy. I have fears it won’t be the same with the boost marketing…

In November I buy two Superoxide Dismutase they last for a year in my routine. All the other products are still too expensive for me. However, I buy a number of products from the Ordinary.

Rob you are not a fan of the copper peptides serum? I'm using that now.
I use Niod's photography fluid. Its good but i have Versed drops to try next. Way cheaper so i hope it compares.

I bought the CAIL in november but I can't say I see it make a difference in my skin. And I use it at alternating nights which makes that I then miss out on my retinal, from which I do see results. I have to think about what to do with the CAIL because I have the MAS copperpeptide serum and want to start using that but the CAIL was so expensive. 😢
I cant believe NIOD could have been discontinued. My morning routine is NIOD only with niacinamide, aloe + nag and alpha arbutin from ordinary.
Using tret and other hyperpigmentation actives at night and in morning full niod routine

Recently started using my first TO product - Aloe + NAG. Shame, shame but never heard of NIOD until I started watching your channel. Can the eye contour concentrate be used on eyelids and skin between eyebrows and eyelids?

2 things from NIOD I can't give up: SDSM & Survival, occasionally I will still buy MG, but the rest I choose alternative dupes.

My freaken mist was messed up last time 😂 i was so mad but thankfully i still had alittle left of my other bottle and didnt recycle it so i changed the sprayer. I was really suprised that my sprayer was so horrible it never happened before it was split mist water hose , u know the type . I still need to try the eye serum .

Is this eye serum better than Allies of Skin eye cream? Which one do you recommend to a 60 plus?
Oh thats such a touch choice.. I love them both and I think they both work as well as each other.. the texture of the allies is a cream and the niod is an oil so I think it will come down to which texture you prefer.. love x

@@MadAboutSkin I am concerned if I'm pairing everything correctly. AM: Cleanse, tone/essence, Sunday Riley eye cream, GM super peptide serum, G&G C-glow, moisturizer, MAS SPF. PM: cleanse(Tula), toner/essence, eye cream, peptide serum, lip mask, A-game, and Moisturizer. I also have G&G B-bomb but I'm unsure where it would fit, or if I even need it. I got it because I do have enlarged pores and struggle with still having the occasional breakout. But at 57, my most concerning issue is the overall loss of firmness, ever deepening laugh lines and sagging jowls. Ugh.
Anyway, any additional advice you can offer I could definitely use. And I really want to tell you how much I appreciate you and your content! Also, that you always take the time to make sure the description box has all the pertinent information. So many others just rattle through the praises of whatever product was sent to them that week, or don't provide the additional links. So Thank You! ❤️

I’ve been using your MadAboutSkin Cooper peptides instead of the Niod cause yours are encapsulated and cheaper! Question - did u not include the Niod copper peptides in this list cause u just no longer rate them? And if so, why?

Definitely not. I just started the NIOD copper peptides recently because Rob recommended 😊 seems like it's really improving my skin texture

@@olga_b344 definitely! Depending on the formula, let it dry a while before layering. I have to wait a few minutes after using a serum with glycerin because it takes a while to soak in
Oh no I love the NIOD copper peptides they are great.. I didnt mention them as I have moved on to encapsulated ones as its just easier to slot into the routine but the niod ones are still A+... sending you so much love x

I actually use a lot of NIOD products on the daily. My one and only biggest problem with the product is the customer support. The absolute worst. I'm still waiting for them to solve issues from when I shopped with them back in November. I just wrote the again today and I might stop dealing with them altogether because nobody deserves this level of disrespect as their customer.

NIOD AND THE ORDINARY. I still love Survival 30. During winter I can even get away without foundation. Then CAIS & Buffet with copper. However I recently switched to MAS. I guess this does not really comes as a surprise. I also use the NIOD Dismutase. And The Ordinary Argireline. The glycolic acid. I just finished my third and thought to abandon it. Then I watched Dr. Idress explaining it supports collagen building. When I hear it promotes collagen I am on board. I try to understand my skin’s needs. But there is not a single day without glycolic acid, Vitamine C, copper peptides, retinal and ceramides. And SPF. Of course.
Never tried Niod due to the prices

Thank God NIOD isn’t going anywhere. I would RIOT if they discontinued the eye serum or neck product in particular. Now that I’ve reached That Age I need products that actually work, but are gentle too. I agree that the names and jargon are unnecessarily complicated. I also don’t buy it here in Australia, because the prices are at a premium. Buying when on sale at an international store makes the products much more affordable.
