Started using Korean skincare during lockdown after seeing Kelly Driscoll’s videos on UA-cam and then I found your videos as well been a fan since then ❤
Love it because it works. It's gentle, effective, and dose what it says it's going to do. Unlike many U.S. products that dry and blow your skin up and makes it angry at you. I am always wonder why people who talk about Korean skincare never ever mention how large the list for ingredients that are banned from skincare compared to the U.S. recently retin-A in banned but not retinals.
I’ve always had fairly sensitive skin and K and J beauty works well for me because so many of the products are unscented and gentle. I’m still dedicated to the Beauty of Joeson sunscreen, my skin seems to like rice water as an ingredient, the I’m From rice toner is also fab! ❤
Just bought my first Korean sunscreen, Joseon. Love it. Great video. I am thinking of adding more Korean products and I loved your idea on simplifying. That's my life mantra. Thank you.

I picked up a collagen toner and retinol eye serum by #ootd from tk maxx. I'm very impressed. Been using the toner am & pm, subq eye am & the retinol pm. Definitely will be trying more Korean brands in the future. Thanks for the recommendations Rob 😘❤️❤️

Hi Rob! Everything that you have recommended so far that I have purchased has been phenominal! The Jumiso sunscreen I fell in love with the first time I tried it. My previous sunscreen I always had to wait ages before I could apply makeup as it took forever to sink in, but not the Jumiso one! Brilliant. My other recent purchase that was recommended by you was the Torriden lip balm. Ive tried loads but no joy till this! it just arrived yesterday so I immediately whacked it on and omg it was instant relief!! Ive also bought the Torriden plumping cream you recommended but havent tried it yet as need to finish my present moisturizer...the products are piling up lol. I would also like to say yes to a full video on Torriden products...can I make one suggestion please, when you show us these various products, it would be super helpful if you could tell us as what point in our routine they should be used. I know some are self explanatory ( like moisturizer) but some of the others not so. Anyhoo, thank you for a great video Rob and hope you dont melt too much! xx

Started using Torriden cellmazing firming cream last week. Very early days but love the formula. Numbuzin vitamin concentrate no5 ❤. My routine is nearly all Korean excluding my retinal thanks to this channel and your recommendations. Just bought the ksecret retinal patches too 🎉🎉🎉
I personally find the Jumiso sunscreen a bit suffocating. Instead of cooling down my skin after applying, it makes my skin warmer. I think it’s the gel texture. Personally prefer more of a cream or lotion texture sunscreen.
@@MadAboutSkin AND now I dont mind putting on sunscreen because of it. I use to hate putting sunscreen on with the US products but this Koren one feels like skincare not a greasy ass mess on my face.
🇰🇷 I am a huge fan of Korean skincare. The SKIN1004 Madagascar centella poremizing products are my current favourites- the gel cream moisturiser is beautiful and light for this rare UK weather! My skin is also loving the MEDIPEEL Biotox ampoule and I’ve just ordered the eye cream! I just can’t bring myself to try snail mucin though 😂xx

@@MadAboutSkin I do try new things, but there are a few HGs for me that I tend to always go back to since they are the bar for me Toner: Pyungkang Yul Essence Toner Essence: Blithe Vital Treatment 9 Essential Seeds (don't try another one from this line, no matter your skin, try this exact one) Sunscreen: Thank You Farmer Shimmer Sun Essence (pink tube, this might be too glowy for you as an oily guy, I am very dry).

I watch your videos all the time!! I just got the Numbuzin 5 serum & was wondering if I can still use a Vitamin C serum with it? Wasn’t sure the concentration of Vitamin C in the Numbuzin. Also waiting for the Stratia serum..🇰🇷

Oh great question and I love both the jumiso and the skin1004 though I think overall the jumiso one is a little lighter weight on the skin so I am going to go with that one as my favourite but both are amazing.. love x
I am new to skin care like k beauty and I’m curious what you recommend for someone who never used any products. What 2 things would be a must to help skin look younger. No wrinkles or acne so just looking to start with care.
I had a very bad experience of yes style website. I put in an order of like 4/5 products all in stock paid then 3 weeks still no products. I contacted them they told me hadn’t shipped anything!! Because apparently 1 was now out of stock and won’t be in stock till 8 weeks! Told me I couldn’t get a refund and wait the 8 weeks which is rubbish as I’d run out of skin care. My skin currently looks terrible now as I’ve had no products.
🇰🇷 I am finding myself going gaga over K Beauty stuff. Do you have air conditioning? Love my air! My daughter says, the way thru Mom’s heart…is air conditioning 🤭
yes I dont think thats a major issue unless you have an allergy to it - I would just recommend people patch test well as they should with any new product. love x

Do you tend to use or mean to more natural or Organic and if so what do you recommend. I use natures face wash. Burt’s bees oil serum for face. So next I need a good strong moisturizer extra dry with possibly with SPF. I do t wear make up much soooooo I’d like my skin to be more evened out, aging spots. Hi, do you think squalene is safe for acne? I have the g&g happier barrier and although squalene is fairly low down in the ingrediant list i have been told it can be pore clogging. Thank you

I am literally OBSESSED with Korean skin care. Why? It's light years ahead. The level of performance sold me. Every product I have tried performs beautifully on my 66 year old skin. From cleansers, toners, essences, moisturizers, and sunscreens which have skin care. I haven't been so excited about skin care/sunscreens for years! I have ladies ask me exactly what I use on my skin. I got carded at my local pharmacy because it was senior's day. I had to show my i.d. I gladly gave it to the clerk. Yes, here you go! 1958! I love your channel and I trust your opinion!

I like SKIN 1004 Madagascar, and the Centella Hyalu-Cica Blue Serum is a fantastic soothing serum and thanks to your advices I just bought the Tone brightening ampule.
I use lots of these LOL … thanks to you!!! I really like the JUMISO moisturizer sunscreen one better but they are both pure glass skin!!! Not greasy or dewy I can’t stand that 🤣🤣🤣Gorgeous under foundations!!! Love the Numbuzin #5’s the RNW Shine toner is great too that Torriden vitamin c looked great!!! Have to look that up
Curious if you found that the Jumiso sunscreen with moisturizer tends to leak out of the bottle when it’s standing up? I purchased one of those and two of the one without moisturizer. I haven’t had any issue with the non-moisturizer ones but the have lost product with the moisturizer one. The application is flawless. Despite some irritation, when I apply it to my eyelids, and under eye, I find it gives my skin a beautiful glow. I just wish they made decent size bottles. I find that they are like sample sizes or made for babies. I know many people would use them on their whole body if they made a decent size bottle. I prefer non-water resistant sunscreen as I tend to stay out of areas where I’m going to sweat it off and I don’t like dealing with having to double cleanse so, if Jumiso so would make a larger bottle, I would buy several. I’m lucky that I work out of my home and there isn’t a lot of natural sunlight in here so I can get away with not wearing sunscreen daily. Don’t get me wrong, if I’m going outside, I have it on or if I’m near a window, I apply it, but in the US, these tiny bottles are something like $24 each and I can’t remember if that was the sale price or not. Then I had to pay for shipping. I simply refuse to deal with those two South Korean websites, because of all the technical glitches, never having enough to get free shipping, not wanting to wait weeks or a month and frankly, I’m not excited to try out new products I may not like or be able to tolerate, with a zero return policy. Obviously, I wouldn’t be shipping them back to Korea anyway, but if I’m going to try something new, with my sensitive skin, it needs to be something that is easily returnable. Would love to hear from someone else who uses their sunscreen, if you think the bottles are unreasonably small. I can’t even imagine how expensive it would be if I was wearing it every day!
It’s my new addiction. I need to join a 12 step program for people who are powerless over k beauty.

I watch your videos all the time!! I just got the Numbuzin 5 serum & was wondering if I can still use a Vitamin C serum with it? Wasn’t sure the concentration of Vitamin C in the Numbuzin. Also waiting for the Stratia serum..🇰🇷

I love Numbuzin 5+ serum 😙💕and I really want to try the no.1 toner but it was out of stock on Stylevana when I placed my order 😢 The cream looks lovely too but I have too many moisturisers in my cupboard ATM 😂 I need to use them up before I buy a new one 😅
The Jumiso sunscreen looks so nice! I would love to know how it compares to Skin1004 hyalu-cica sunscreen (my current favourite) 🤔

Oh great question and I love both the jumiso and the skin1004 though I think overall the jumiso one is a little lighter weight on the skin so I am going to go with that one as my favourite but both are amazing.. love x

I am new to skin care like k beauty and I’m curious what you recommend for someone who never used any products. What 2 things would be a must to help skin look younger. No wrinkles or acne so just looking to start with care.

I had a very bad experience of yes style website. I put in an order of like 4/5 products all in stock paid then 3 weeks still no products. I contacted them they told me hadn’t shipped anything!! Because apparently 1 was now out of stock and won’t be in stock till 8 weeks! Told me I couldn’t get a refund and wait the 8 weeks which is rubbish as I’d run out of skin care. My skin currently looks terrible now as I’ve had no products.

Torriden vitamin c has bergamot fruit oil. U sure its good for sensitive skin?
yes I dont think thats a major issue unless you have an allergy to it - I would just recommend people patch test well as they should with any new product. love x

I am literally OBSESSED with Korean skin care. Why? It's light years ahead. The level of performance sold me. Every product I have tried performs beautifully on my 66 year old skin. From cleansers, toners, essences, moisturizers, and sunscreens which have skin care. I haven't been so excited about skin care/sunscreens for years! I have ladies ask me exactly what I use on my skin. I got carded at my local pharmacy because it was senior's day. I had to show my i.d. I gladly gave it to the clerk. Yes, here you go! 1958! I love your channel and I trust your opinion!

I like SKIN 1004 Madagascar, and the Centella Hyalu-Cica Blue Serum is a fantastic soothing serum and thanks to your advices I just bought the Tone brightening ampule.

I use lots of these LOL … thanks to you!!! I really like the JUMISO moisturizer sunscreen one better but they are both pure glass skin!!! Not greasy or dewy I can’t stand that 🤣🤣🤣Gorgeous under foundations!!! Love the Numbuzin #5’s the RNW Shine toner is great too that Torriden vitamin c looked great!!! Have to look that up

Curious if you found that the Jumiso sunscreen with moisturizer tends to leak out of the bottle when it’s standing up? I purchased one of those and two of the one without moisturizer. I haven’t had any issue with the non-moisturizer ones but the have lost product with the moisturizer one. The application is flawless. Despite some irritation, when I apply it to my eyelids, and under eye, I find it gives my skin a beautiful glow. I just wish they made decent size bottles. I find that they are like sample sizes or made for babies. I know many people would use them on their whole body if they made a decent size bottle. I prefer non-water resistant sunscreen as I tend to stay out of areas where I’m going to sweat it off and I don’t like dealing with having to double cleanse so, if Jumiso so would make a larger bottle, I would buy several. I’m lucky that I work out of my home and there isn’t a lot of natural sunlight in here so I can get away with not wearing sunscreen daily. Don’t get me wrong, if I’m going outside, I have it on or if I’m near a window, I apply it, but in the US, these tiny bottles are something like $24 each and I can’t remember if that was the sale price or not. Then I had to pay for shipping. I simply refuse to deal with those two South Korean websites, because of all the technical glitches, never having enough to get free shipping, not wanting to wait weeks or a month and frankly, I’m not excited to try out new products I may not like or be able to tolerate, with a zero return policy. Obviously, I wouldn’t be shipping them back to Korea anyway, but if I’m going to try something new, with my sensitive skin, it needs to be something that is easily returnable. Would love to hear from someone else who uses their sunscreen, if you think the bottles are unreasonably small. I can’t even imagine how expensive it would be if I was wearing it every day!
