Have you ever imagined yourself standing in the middle of an Alaskan winter night, looking up at the sky and admiring the magical aurora light dancing high above?
I went to Alaska in 2002 .... The views are something else. The cruise ship I was on went to Glacier Bay and was next to a huge Glacier, that had huge pieces falling off. What a sight. This Glacier was so big that it made the ship seem small, even though it carried 2000 passengers and 700 crew members...
I moved here in august of 2020 and I’m in the middle of my 5th winter. I don’t have the best view where I live but the best view is no longer 4000 miles away. Hatcher pass is 15 minutes from here. I can see Denali from the highway 100 miles away. It’s so outstanding it doesn’t look real
I have lived and worked in AK for over 40 yrs. Been to, worked at and even lived at most of the locations shown in this video. AK is truly more beautiful than any video can depict. With it's amazing beauty, wildness and adventures, it's been a lifetime experience!
After watching several videos, I decided to go to the beginning and start. Amazing, wonderful, educational, a Blessing doesn't began to express the joy you two bring to me and I'm sure so many more!
I gave up trying to explain Alaska years ago to tourists. And listening to a British account trying to describe how it is up here is just hilarious. No place even compares to Alaska. Real simple!
the narrator has a good voice...but not for pleasant things like THIS. his voice is suited for menacing things like war and the holocaust and genghis khan.......

I went to Alaska two years ago. The nature is truly amazing.

I'll be starting dental school next fall, but hopefully I get to mover there and serve the community as soon as I graduate!
