The last time I paid more than $ 4 for a gallon of gas in the States was in 2010 at Furnace Creek Gas Station. I was living in Ohio then and took a three week / 6,000 mi trip in the USA. Death Valley was definitely a box worth ticking. So were Tioga Pass and Yosemite. However, if it is any consolation to you, yesterday I forked out $ 7.5 per gallon (€ 1.7 per liter) when I filled up my 2021 RT here in Finland (where I live). Then again, we are used to paying a lot for gas and since most of it is tax, few people complain about it because we get bang for our tax buck...er.. euro. Thanks for your entertaining videos.
Thanks! I freely admit to loving the way those look, particularly with this particular paint scheme, and I leave them on the bike all the time as a result!
If it makes you feel better Jed, gas has increased by 50% and I live in Alberta Canada where if I dig a hole in the garden oil comes out of the ground 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️ crazy times for gas prices…..
Stunning scenery. I got to get up there, looking forward to riding not only 120/Tiago Pass (though that traffic backup looked painful) but ride Hwy 88, Hwy 4 and 108. So you guys did this over 2-days?
Thanks. Yes, 2 days. We had planned to be gone 3 days/2 nights but life got in the way and we had to cut it short a day. Had we had another day we would have done Ebbetts pass, too.
Thank you guys I was a great video
Our pleasure!
Out of South Africa... enjoy life. Im riding a 1200RT. BIKER since 1967.
Thanks for watching, and thanks for the comment! Enjoy!

And Finland is a box I would like to tick. Sounds like you made the most of your riding opportunities in the States. How's that new RT?
Awesome scenery and GSA. Gas prices, not so much!
Yeah, good ride. Not so good gas prices.
Those black panniers are stunning. Really go with the GS. Don't see too many of those
