It`s not good to remove swirl flaps, you will have lower torque before 2000rpm and also increased fuel consumption. By doing that you can even reduce the lifespan of your engine because no one does the good re-coding for swirl flaps delete. (If you think that installing placeholders will not affect your engine, you are wrong) The best solution for that is to buy swap kits from companies like ReDo (Not an advertisement), months ago I install their swirl flaps swap kit, and the quality of the swirl flaps is very good.
its true that u lose a little bit of torque below 2000rpm, and thats why your fuel consumption goes up a little bit, but the problem is as i mentioned in the video the seal aroound the swirlflaps go bad and that in combination with a bad crankcase breather will leak a ton of oil. the major problem is bmw will sell u a whole intake to fix this oil leaking probelm and u cant get just the seals for swirl flaps. but that the engine lifespan is shortend because of swirl flap delete is simply not true cause the swirl flaps are just there for better mixture below 2k rpm. but yeah ur right the better solution is to get new swirl flaps :)
Nice Video 🔝
Beautifull
Thanks :)
