I owned iridium desktop and finally sold it. I bought The Keyboard Version! Iridium is my all time favorite. It’s inexhaustible source of sonic brilliance. It’s interface is the best I’ve used. Yes, it’s expensive! BUY IT
As I own the iridium keyboard and it’s the pinnacle of synths in my humble opinion. I started my synth journey in 1986. I’m a professional musician since 1989. I’ve owned dozens of synths. Actually last count was 38. The Waldorf iridium is the most capable synth instrument I’ve ever owned….if you don’t count my 2022 Mac Pro. I prefer a dedicated physical keyboard synth. I’m waiting for the Moog muse and then I will be ready for my withdrawal from society.
With less sounds and polyphony (12 voices vs 16) and not with a big cut on price tag.. 1900€ vs 2399€ (bigger desktop version) and also 2699€ for this keyboard model (with poly aftertouch) I prefer the keyboard version 😉

@@DKS-SYNTH-LAB I already did it, but my conclusion was that it doesn't produce the same quality and depth of sound.

I do wish you’d have done less “watch my fingers go!” Stuff and just showed more sounds.
