Two of my other favorites from Kenny Rogers are "She Believes In Me" and "Lady".
Older Country music often has story songs. This is a fantastic example of that. So I will give you two different groups of songs to listen to. One of Kenny Rogers and the other will be story songs. And since Kenny had other story songs those will listed with him.

By the way, I'm sorry you didn't pass your driving test. I was a driving instructor for a while. Many people don't pass the written or driving tests the first time. Keep studying, keep learning and you will do well. The language barrier does cause many immigrants to fail the written exam.
True enough. It is also an unfortunate fact that, due to the far more lax or even non-existent traffic laws in many countries, American and especially European traffic laws can seem overwhelming or restrictive and cause newcomers to fail their initial attempts on top of the language barrier. It may seem extreme at first, but trust me, we need them. There has been a significant increase in traffic accidents/deaths in recent years in part due to drug use but also the vast amount of illegal migrants who come from countries where there are no traffic laws and they choose to ignore the American ones. I've unfortunately seen this far too often in person. I see it this way- I follow the laws and I still don't trust intersections.
Country music speaks to the deepest longings of the heart, I think that's why you feel it so. Congrats on being open to it!
