I'm blown away by the performance of this aircraft. On takeoff you just add the power and you're up to take off speed in no time. Its climb rate is incredible too. It's a nice piece of kit and well worth the money.
Great views, thanks for sharing ! Beautiful panel, just wish it were more visible via separate camera etc. only "complaint" is it ended too soon ha! Safe skies guys !
Amazing plane and technology. My only question - why do the cockpit communications still sound like ancient tech. static, hissing, popping? You'd think in this day in age they could make communications clearer. Just curious.
Michael - The one on the left is the Primary Flight Display (PFD). It displays the critical information for flight; airspeed, altitude, aircraft attitude and other information. The center screen is the multifunctional display (MFD) and it can display a lot of system information along with a Map. The screen on the right is the Co-Pilots PFD. Thank you for watching and for your interest.
Kshitiz Sigdel - Embraer has a push to talk button on both the yoke as well as up on the panel. For the pilot not flying, it is very nice to be able to rest your hand on the glare shield and use the push to talk button, and not have to follow the flying pilot’s control inputs on the yoke. Thank you for your question and for watching.
Que fácil se programa el piloto automatico en el Phenom 300 , y puedes ver los datos en la pnatalla liquida de presentación , no es como en los comerciales que tienes que mirar el panelito y los números que marcan por ensima de la rondana que sostienes .
The 600+lbs over landing weight that the PNF (pilot not-flying) is referring to in our initial setup briefing is our current weight if we had to do an immediate emergency return to Savannah not our weight when we arrive at our destination. The speeds we programmed for landing are also those overweight landing speeds. All of that is done so that we are prepared for an emergency return when time is critical and the crew are under high stress and high workload. Thank you for watching and your question.
Mohammad - The yoke is turned into the crosswind to help with directional control. As the aircraft accelerates down the runway, I slowly take the correction out until at rotation the yoke is centered and control surfaces neutralized. Thank you for watching and for your question.
That is the yoke. On the ground aircraft are controlled by the rudder pedals used by the feet so the yoke has no play in aircraft steering. The yoke is tilted to the right for crosswind correction so the wind does not cause the aircraft to drift once at higher speeds.
Ruben Barahona "Why is the steering wheel tilted to the right in a straight line?" Others have already answered, but I'll give a longer answer. What you called a "steering wheel" is called a yoke, and some aircraft replace the yoke with a stick. The yoke or stick doesn't steer the aircraft when it's on the ground; that's done with the rudder pedals and/or the toe brakes. (On some large transport-category aircraft there may also be a knob down by the pilot's side called a nose-wheel steering control that turns the nose wheel left or right.) In the air, the rudder pedals control the direction the nose points, called the yaw. What the yoke or stick controls, when in the air, is the "tilt" of the aircraft to the left or right (called the bank angle) and the nose-up or nose-down angle (called the pitch attitude). The reason the pilot might turn the yoke to the right or left when on the ground is to move the ailerons on the wings to counteract a crosswind. (It puts a downward force on the upwind wing to keep that wing from lifting.)
Fantastic cockpit. Light years ahead of Airbus, BUT why no autothrottle. Helps tremendously, especially for single pilot operations. Also, that yoke looks super tiresome. Should be a side stick.
Do you guys even fly the planes nowadays.? Seems like everything is autopilot with all those fancy computers, it's like just key in where you want to go and bam you're there lol
Bombs Away - You are correct a lot of flying a modern aircraft is ensuring that the computers are doing as you want them to do. To answer your question, when the computers go down, and they do go down, then the pilot is left flying the aircraft. This particular plane was a lot of fun to fly, and I enjoy hand flying throughout the flight envelope.
David - Thank you for your question. While the aircraft is single pilot certified, most insurance companies given the high hull value and performance, require dual pilot operation. You can get single pilot insurance coverage, however the premium is almost as much as a FO annual compensation.

Congratulations. God Bless you both.
I'm from Brazil and I'm so proud of Embraer
I'm an American from Alabama and this makes me proud of Brazil ❤
@billsmith3543 thank you
Perfect Video, in Brazil the callout is 70kt (CAE sop)
Beautiful takeoff! The cockpit looks awesome.
What a beautiful cockpit!
Oisiaa - Thank you for your kind comment, and for watching the video. It is a pleasure to fly.
Totally agree better than the Cirrus Vision Jet.
I agree! I have always liked the views of jet cockpits, particularly the instrument panels and the radar screens.
Dream job in my dream plane! Awesome seeing videos from y'all!
The G3000 display is amazing! thanks for sharing
Thank you Brian for watching and commenting. Happy and safe flying.
@@AircraftInsights the 300 is my favorite airplane great to see some of the procedures. Do you have any with full check list to startup
Very professional, a joy to watch you work. Thanks and keep them coming! Love that Phenom.

You two seem to work well together. I really enjoy your videos and hope you will be posting new ones !
This aircraft has a very interesting and advanced avionics!
Thanks! I would appreciate to see more! :)
Burkhard - Thank you for your comment. I will be posting more in the near future.
avionics are advanced, pilot, not so much
The avionics remind me of the Pan Am space shuttle cockpit in the film 2001
Great videos man, can't wait to see some more in the future!
TheCrjflr - Thank you for your compliment. I am working on more and will get them up as soon as I complete the editing process.
hi from australia thank you
Nice to have a copilot around. Crazy about SIMMING the 100 with G-Glass
Amazing airborne! That's a great aircraft
Filipe - Thank you for watching and commenting. We think it is as well.
Great video, thank you for sharing
Must’ve been humid that day haha. Love the video!
Yes, it was a very humid day. Thank you for watching and the comments.
Brazilian aircraft...so cool!
Mancini - We agree, thank you for watching.
Is phenom Brazilian made
Both of the pilots seem so sweaty on a rainy day!
Stamatis - Thank you for watching. It was a hot rainy day in the southern US. The Phenom has great A/C and we were glad to have it that day.
High humidity and high heat = sweat down here in the Southern USA. I'm dreading that weather returning here in Houston haha.
Very nice cockpit, nice video thanks
Great views, thanks for sharing ! Beautiful panel, just wish it were more visible via separate camera etc. only "complaint" is it ended too soon ha! Safe skies guys !
Randy - Thank you for your kind comments. We will add a camera next time, to get another angle.

I am saving money to buy one. For now I will do with my Phantom 4/Phantom 4 Pro fleet.
Great CRM plus some great humor and banter
Stephen - thank you for your kind comment. Flying is a passion and we love doing it.
Love that large Glass dash display!!
Angelo T - thank you for your compliment. The Phenom 300 is a pleasure to fly and the displays are outstanding
Like the virtual cockpit...just don’t forget it’s not a flight sim you’re flying 🤣
great video -- hopefully you have a lot more coming
Thank you David David for your kind comment. The answer is yes, as soon as I get sometime to edit them. Stay turned.
Add some raw flying video
's, We would still enjoy them. Ever seen Pilot.atc video's?
We'd love to hear you explain what each of those screens does. They look beautiful.

Auto- Pilot Taxiing! That's a FIRST for me. NICE!
This is my home airport!!😁 Thx for this superb video..!!! BTW, not being negative, but that thing’s a Rocket 🚀..🇺🇸
What’s it like flying right seat in a single pilot airplane?
Nice video!
TheDjnatronic - Thank you for your comment.
Nice instrument set-up by Garmin .
Dinoxt12 - Thank you for your comment. Garmin and Embraer did a great job on the design of the cockpit in the Phenom 300. It is a pleasure to fly.
Awesome. Thanks.
Is push to talk button in the corner of the Panel?
Kshitiz Sigdel - Embraer has a push to talk button on both the yoke as well as up on the panel. For the pilot not flying, it is very nice to be able to rest your hand on the glare shield and use the push to talk button, and not have to follow the flying pilot’s control inputs on the yoke. Landing weight 600+lbs over, did y’all just burn a little extra fuel prior to landing?

These JB commercials are killing all of us!! Vote that guy out of office!!
What camera are you using? Excellent quality.
S4 - I was using both a GoPro Hero 5 and Hero 4.
Muito lindo desempenho dessa aeronave jatos
Nice video mate!
Hi!
I just passed by your channel. Which camera are you using? ;)
And by the way great video!
Wow that climb performance makes my A320 look pretty rubbish 😂
hahaha they skipped a lot of that climb. notice when the camera switches, they're going through 10k
When was taxing, who was controling the plane?
The pilot in the left seat. In the Phenom you control the direction of the taxi with the rudder pedals.
Aircraft Insights thanks, seems very difficult..
In the Phenom, you press three buttons and the airplane does everything else for you! Heck, it's so easy a certified FAA Drone pilot could fly it!
1:34 "STOLL STOOLL STOLL" lolllll
6:18 Why is the steering wheel tilted to the right in a straight line?
Ruben Barahona , cross wind.
That is the yoke. On the ground aircraft are controlled by the rudder pedals used by the feet so the yoke has no play in aircraft steering. The yoke is tilted to the right for crosswind correction so the wind does not cause the aircraft to drift once at higher speeds.
Thank you for your question and for watching the video. We had a crosswind and thus it is proper to turn the yoke into the wind on departure.
It is a yoke

A phenom taking off from the home of the Gulfstream.
so cool!!

It's a beautiful cockpit but I'm not sure how I'd feel about that yoke.

$9 million jet and no AC in the cockpit?

:))... turn on that AC boys lol
M - It was hot that day in Savannah. Luckly the a/c cooled us, but not quick enough.
why is he sweating like that ?
Because it's 80 degrees F and 100 percent humidity
rwy 10 via Bravo then left on CHarlie hs 19 then clearance.

phenom 300 vs PC24
Phenom 300 is my winner a dream jet i wanna own
whats up with the pilot accent every word is drawn out just talk normal
Aviation Mayhem - Being raised in the Southern US, that is our natural accent. Thank you for watching and commenting.
Ah that's why thanks for replying keep up the good work
Using his phone lol 😂
The most boring cockpit I have ever seen...
ugly cockpit
agreed. Still waiting for the "pilot's" perspective, All I've seen so far is a screen watcher.
Mehrdad Noei "ugly cockpit"
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, as they say. I myself think it's a beautiful cockpit.
