The F450 Gets Chicken Lights!!

What is going on everyone, here is a video the chicken lights getting installed on my F450.

I'm putting those same lights under my bumper on my truck. Just curious how you connected the lights together.

I took 14 gage wire and ran it the length I needed from the power source to the last light. Then I cut the sheathing back on the wire where the pig tails where and punch a hole on the copper and wrapped the pig tail around it. So it look like 1 wire with multiple lights on it

What I did was run a power wire and ground wire and just wired the lights into that.

Why are they called chicken lights?

It goes back to the 1920 when farmers where getting their chicken robbed when transporting them at night. So they put the lights on to help prevent the light being stolen
