Ruan is a traditional Asian instrument since the Qin Dynasty, with almost 3000 years of history.
Mist of Jiangnan tells a story that during a rainy and misty night in the south of the Yangtze River, the male and female protagonists meet again after being apart for a long time. Unfortunately, things are different and the heroine is married to someone else. The two are strangers in the end, and they are destined to have no connection. Among them, “Mist in Jiangnan” is used to describe the hero’s mood, as if his peaceful mood were suddenly shattered by heavy rain and covered with mist.
