Absolutely fantastic footage. I received my Anthem about a month ago and it's my first motorcycle so I'm still getting use to everything. So far I really dig it, but haven't had the confidence yet to really go into Sport mode that much. I live in AZ as well, so right now is prime time ideal weather for riding, but I'm weary of those intense 4 - 5 months we get of Sun, makes me grateful to have a detachable battery to pull it off and store it in my apartment.
The ONLY thing I am disappointed about with the Anthem is the range. I mean, I knew it was and is marketed entirely as an urban commuter and Ryvid is still VERY early in their career, but I really really hope they are actively working on new battery tech. I've only heard a single line said here on UA-cam (almost in passing) from one of their show people in a video saying something about how when battery tech improves, that's why they wanted the battery to be swappable.
So far Ryvid has been amazingly transparent as a company, and being so pro, "no this is YOUR bike, modify it how you want" along with the easiest to follow online videos, I feel they're being true to their word on so many things. I just really hope they are able to add range to their bikes. Even adding like 20 more miles (guaranteed) would turn on more customers. Plus, I really hope they offer like a trade back discount program where you can ship back your old battery (proving your a customer I suppose) for a discount on a higher end battery. As of right now I've never ran my Anthem to zero, but from my best guess it looks like I could MAYBE eke out 45 miles on it total. Then again I'm using primarily eco mode due to my lack of experience, so I'm wondering if that auto-regen is murdering the battery compared to Sport mode where you could just coast?

Thanks! I had an 86 Yamaha Radian 600 many years ago and I'm happy the Ryvid can perform better than that (and I'm 100 pounds heavier now than I was). I work from home so currently don't have a commute, I'm in sport mode 100% of the time :) Of course I regen brake most of the time too so that will help my range. I'm still pretty impressed though, we're up in the mountains and I jump on in pretty often and it doesn't kill the battery as much as I thought it would. Obviously, highway will deplete the battery fast - but they saved me $10,000 from getting a Zero! (Like I had the $10,000 anyway)
I've seen in the Ryvid subreddit a list from a few months ago from whom I believe is an employee and Battery is on the roadmap. Better to see advancements coming rather than new bike coming out to replace it - or worse, having to pay a monthly fee to unlock bike's capabilities like Zero does - that grinded my gears.
They said: once we get our heads above water on bike demand, we will focus heavily on accessories and this one is on the list. Road map probably looks like this in order of importance.
      1. Big side storage (dual storage with 100 lb capability)
      2. Top storage
      3. Gap mender/Charging cord storage/battery mud preventer/side fairing thingy.
      4. J plug mount on bike
      5. Extended range connectors!
      6. Bigger battery (fixed and removable)
      7. Harness accessories

@@freddythunderAs a current Zero owner, I'd love to buy a Ryvid once it surpasses my zero in range and other features like storage, ABS, and j plug on board. I far prefer Ryvid as a company and am definitely rooting for them.
