just install an O2 sensor extender to trick the ecu into thinking the cat is still there. What it will do is flow less exhaust gas by it so giving it a fails reading to make it think that its running correctly.
I have a 2000 SS and I have a few problems with my MC but it's runs good, but it's after it warms up it starts to act up. Doesn't crank right away, my fans constantly spin and my meter for the cars temperature goes on and off.

I just bought a gm catalytic converter for my 08 buick lacrosse cxl its cost me 1,232 dollars i recommend making sure that flange mating surface is the exact same diameter of the cat falnge if not you will have an exhaust leak between the gasket .
What i was wondering, it sounds more like the 3800 super charger to me, cats didn't sound to bad as it should've been allot louder than that, and it would'nt pick up speed as quickly the way it did, just judging from cars in my past experiences that had cat. converter problems, its like a persons with sinus congestion, lol.
