How incredible, to actually stand right where Hitler stood. I have put this on my bucket list, right at the top. Just astonishing. Thank you so much for making this video, and thank you for this excellent channel.

I was there in 2017 - I can verify that it is a very creepy place to stand - on the balcony overlooking Zeppelinfeld. It seemed I could feel a tiny echo of the evil that rose there, 90 years ago.
The name "Zeppelinfeld" or "Zeppelinwiese" refers to the fact that in August 1909 Ferdinand Graf von Zeppelin landed with one of his airships in this location; I don't think it was ever an often - used dirigible landing field.

On top of the toilet blocks they had giant searchlights that were used to create pillars of light around the rally grounds. It was called the cathedral of lights I believe, not sure if you were aware. A few photos online of them turned on

At the end were those parts of destroyed spotlights? Albert Speer created columns of light at night by pointing the spotlights straight up.

You should have seen the Arena before the idiots destroyed it. It was beautiful in the sunlight. I saw it in 1964.

People are so stupid. Look at the comments below: chilling, creepy, evil... it's stone and some steel. Nobody was killed there 90 years ago, incredible spectacles took place in that arena. The labor and sweat of thousands of workmen created a beautiful edifice and now it's falling apart from lack of maintenance. That's too bad, it's like the ruins of the Roman Coliseum where thousands died or were murdered and is now revered. So stupid.

It's subjective. Just because people have a different opinion about it, it doesn't mean their stupid. What's stupid is thinking your opinion trumps others. Yes, no one was killed there but that very spot is where the man, the dictator who was responsible for the deaths of millions, stood. That perspective alone would give a sense of uneasiness for some.

We learn from history by studying the past. I wish American liberals (and worldwide liberals tbh) would understand this.

It is a very pretty town , rebuilt after being bombed flat . I went there in 1970's and camped alongside the stadium . I do not think that joe public has c hanged much and probably got worse. We are still fed propaganda like battery chickens and have no morality whatsoever.
