Was very good for my grades. Her four brothers were in the Wehrmacht. From one I have his name and from the other I have his Wehrpass and medals that he gave me personally. She did not like Hitler because she lost two brothers because of his wars and she told me that when he was on the radio, she shut it off because she did not want to hear "that shouter" ( der Schreiber). And because of having family this close in that war, I am forever very interested in it.....

A small mistake, surely socalled autocorrection: You surely mean, that your grandmother called Hitler: Der Schreier ( the shouter/ the loud speaker), Schreiber means secretary. But when you as assumingly dutch person learn german language, don' t be surprised, there are still persons, me included, who prefer speaking dialect over Standard German.
