- So in this video (and yes, awesome new mic finally), I explain how I personally attack the track in regards to footwork.
Where do I brake?
Where do I lift?
Where do I full throttle?
Why do I do what I do and how will it make you faster if you thought the same way as myself?
These points are all covered, backed up with years experience of racing this track, even if it has changed ever so slightly a few times in the last 7 years!
another note i would say that is important the amount of drivers because when there is lots of drivers i always get stuck behind drivers lapping like 12 seconds slower than me per lap

Nice racing mate. Full respect in every way and it would be nice if others understood how you personally think when defending as you just knew that it would be more beneficial to let me past rather than hold yourself up. Hopefully you managed to sit behind me for the next lap or so. I'm sure you'll be in 59s in no time, just really tough in summer
What's a good time for someone in middleweight category at this track? I've dropped into the 59s twice, but only been to Warrington a handful of times so I know I can be a fair bit quicker, but not sure what's the best time to aim for
Middleweight can do 58s, but top tier middleweight times I'd say is around a 59.1
Just will be slower in summer months
Do you slightly lift on your initial turn in? When I hear Peale say flat out like you say on turn 3 (which is practically a hairpin) are u lifting a touch as you start your turn I find if I try to go foot flat down on hair pins I’m not as smooth as when I lift slightly any advice ? I keep my body weight central also thanks
I'm flat out as u exit turn 2 in to turn 3. If you exit turn 2 and stay on the left tyre wall, it gives you so much space that you can hit turn 3 flat out without losing grip as you've made the angle easier to attack 🙂

The only way is up matey! You can never get worse at something unless it's medical related, but it good to learn your flaws now and prep for when winter comes back around as that's when the lap times really get low

Ths Brad really needed to know what corners to brake and not brake in so this vid really helps ths brad
The turn 2 in to turn 3 is the most important part of your lap. That tarmac section is crucial for a good lap time and it also takes pressure of doing the rest of the track perfectly!

@@BradJonesGoKarting jeez 🙄 I was on the 342 Friday night. I did first session, every lap under yellows. Did 5 laps on the 2nd race under yellows again. I pitted on lap 6 and went home 🤣 didn’t bother with last session. So I feel your pain on this video mate
@@prokleen7 Hahahah, I'd have done the same but it makes a change for my videos and also shows people that not every race is as good as I make it out to be
My question is how do you not lose RPM though hairpins because no matter what I try to do i keep losing all the RPM
Honestly, thats probably down to weight class more than anything.
Could also be you're losing too much grip or not getting back on the throttle in time to keep your RPM high. What weight class you in?
The heavier you are, you need to focus more on lifting than braking

This is what I'm trying to work out how to do actually. I'm going to ask someone if they can draw the track layout for me like a 3D modeller etc. It's really hard to explain by video only, but I will work on it

I went today got 1.00.072 so close the 59
I know its agonising. I remember doing a 58.000 before my first ever 57. Fortunately, that 57 came the session after so it didn't sting for so long 😂
try talking over the video but pausing the lap throughout, thats what i see on sim racing videos. thanks for the content!

@@Hacktheplanet_ whatever temperature it is out side, its worse inside. If its cold outside, it's colder inside. If it's hotter outside, it's hotter inside. Just a poorly insulated building as it can't really be insulated due to the carbon monoxide of course 🥲
