- Jagex updated Old School Runescape with Project Rebalance Skilling updates, with this update there were 11 new Agility shortcuts around Gielinor.

These Shortcuts are from 66 to 96 Agility and require no achievement diarys or extra Quests to use.
I'm checking all of these Agility Shortcuts out and share them with you.

You have the waterbirth island shortcuts mixed up. 85 for the rock climb skipping the pet rock and thrown axe and 81 for the crevice skipping the other rooms.
I just went to re-check it on the blogpost and you're completely right! My bad there! I pinned this comment so there's no mix-up!

It doesn't even save any time because you still have to run to the opening of the wood fence. I'd rather just click the map and auto run to the tree patch
@@roscovian fr this is pointless sense the fence is the same. Damn near the Same to hope the fence and run around as it is just going through the gate

@@roscovian it saves a few tiles, its a very small timesave, but you do trees a lot. so it will add up
They should at least add a gap in the fence for Taverly. It feels like you're not really saving much time given that you have to run all the way around, regardless.The Waterbirth is insane and the Nature Alter might be a new Meta.

I stopped training Agility on my ironman when I got to level 70, but now I want to get back up on those rooftops. Very sneaky, Jagex. Very sneaky.
They got sneaky ways to lure you back to running those rooftops 😂🙌🏻
Brimhaven agility looks very profitable with the new update too

@@ZepaOSRS I was there yesterday and it wasn't as camped as i thought it would be. Yes, i have to hop worlds occasionally, but also i could find empty worlds roughly the same rate as before.
I think many people don't have the agility requirements, and are thinking "I will hold off on doing DKs until I can get 85 agility"
Lot of cool changes this update including the removal of diary requirements of shortcuts (I'm looking at you al-kharrid window). The Waterbirth shortcut is my favorite new addition. I also really like that they changed MTA and made it less tedious to get rewards for both mains (b2p) and irons.

DK shortcuts just had to come a week or two after I finished the Rex grind on my ironman.
One other thing they need to add is making it where you move faster because of the agility stat.
That'd be crazy, maxed players just zooming past everyone 😂

The first shortcut is fun, you still have to run around the fence when yuu teleport to the other side of the wall, its a minimal shortcut lol

Jagex also buffed the xp rates on many of the courses, this is the best time to do a few laps here and there!

DK's shortcuts are by far the most useful ones. No more axes and pet rock is just goated.

04:04 in shilo village you can shortcut over the river then shortcut down to altar, you don't have to use bridge on the left. so you basically run in a straight line from shilo bank to altar

I think now that DT2 Bosses give BiS rings, its very fitting to make the run faster if you've struggled thru agility!

That taverly one looks pretty useless because you still need to run around the gate. Personally I would teleport to the house there if I was doing tree runs

ThebTalvery one could at least you an entrance in the fence so you don't have to run around. Because of that I'm not sure if its even faster 😂. Also for the nature altar if you're using the bank you wouldn't have to take the bridge you would just use the stepping stone so it's actually very fast

What agility method are you using to level up?
Personally I feel the Taverly tree patch could have a longer animation and they just open a gap in the fence by the wall; it could equate to the same time but smoother game experience
The animation is silly and the fence could be removed if you ask me, but that one in general is a really minor difference in time saved regardless
Man nature runecrafting might be significant better with Karamja gloves 3. Don’t have to worry about what’s nearest fairy ring or whatever. Nice

It's a little odd to have two agility shortcuts to wyverns now, when they could have just moved the worse one to the new spot and kept the lower agility requirement.
I didn't even think about that! Gotta check where the old shortcut is, but the new one is a huge timesave regardless 🙌🏻

The taverly shortcut isn't new it was added with agility in rs classic it just wasn't labled on the map.

the first one is basically useless. if its cause the farm patch like you said. the gate is still just as far away as the normal route, might save 2 seconds. at such a high lvl requirement, its not worth it.
the 3rd one is a good shortcut, but the lvl requirement for a small wall is too high. all other shortcuts are great and the lvl requirements fits

theyre great shortcuts but i just feel the reqs are a bit too high for some of them
Requirements are definitely on the higher end, but a good thing for low agility havers is that Jagex took off alot of achievement diary requirements from existing shortcuts so many low lvl agility players will get to enjoy new shortcuts aswell!
the first shortcut they should ahve placed it 8 tile lower. its a useless shortct that save maybe a door opening and 4-5 tile max
If I have agility level one how do I level that up also same with all the other member skills I got 2 weeks of membership and have been able to do nothing because all the quests I've tried require certain skills to be leveled up and I haven't been able to find a vid on it
Go to the Tree Gnome Stronghold with the Grand Tree and use the agility course there to start with. From there I think you can do Draynor rooftops after level 15
If you follow the optimal quest guide on the wiki it will prepare you for every quest in the game with the least amount of grinding possible.
You do know how to use wiki?

@CaptainDC-ji4sd Thank you I'll keep looking. I'll have to look up optimal quest guide for osrs. I haven't worded it like that yet. but I've been having a hard time finding clear answers I'm fairly new to the game I got most of my free to play skills to at least 40 before I got member but the issue is with free to play I didn't really learn any of the more useful stuff like I have no clue how to make potions yet let alone where to get the stuff to make vials when I did the dragon slayer quest I just took an inventory of salmon and hoped for the best lol I'm pretty much the definition of a bot for now all I did was grind a few of the main skills and someone gave me 600k coins at one point which bought me through the game and I screwed myself by doing that.
i'm glad i stopped playing years ago. just add a bunch of ezscape shortcuts lol. do you have to do a pride event to unlock some of the shortcuts too?

Shortcuts are good and everything but it's been so long overdue that it's just too late.
Jagex is the king of overdue, I'm just happy that they actually didn't ditch this one completely and actually delivered 🔥 (even tho its years late)

These are awful. They should lower the agility requirement for ever single shortcut by 20
