To assume the bible to be tampered with, changed or of error is to basically be saying man is more powerful than God and his word. Hi! Can I please ask you a question? I am really doubtful about something. I've been researching and have come to find out that there are some bible verses missing, and books of the Bible that may have been taken out. Of course, the Bible was written by man but I've been told that the inspiration is from God. So, why were the translators taking out books and verses out of the bible?? I'm not sure about this and am honestly starting to question my faith and beliefs. I don't want to say I don't believe in the Lord, but I'm not sure anymore. Please help me understand.And doesn't it say that we must not alter God's word??? Isn't that contradiction?? My brother let me ask you one question. Was the new Gospel around at the time of Jesus prior to his rising? When we are talking about the Gospels we are talking about what Jesus was actually teaching until the time of his rising, whether that’s an actual book or on the heart of the messenger. The Quran was not a literal book coming down in a book form so why would it ask you to verify an older gospel in a book form? Bible is changed because of translation everyone is learing Bible in they own language and thats the reason some words were changed during translation because you cant translate word 100%. First Bible (first language) is almost same like Quran.

Even though I’m an skeptic when it comes to religion. I was raised as a Christian up until I found out that the Bible has been tampered with and changed so many times. I’ve been exposed to many different versions of the Bible etc. so on and so fourth I decided to read the Quran; in which it is forbidden to read or study another religion besides Christianity in which is it a crime in my family’s point of view. mate the bible was translated from aramaic( old hebruw) to greek to latin and to other languages, while the language of the quran stayed the same (arabic). there are some different dialects, thats true, but the words mean the exact same

I couldn't believe in a document when I could tell just from reading it that the New Testament has no understanding of Judaism and no connection to the Old Testament. Christianity doesn’t follow very well from the OT and not all from the Hebrew Bible, so the Hebrew Bible was altered to support Christianity and dubbed the “Old Testament”. Also, the non-gospel books of the New Testament have no connection to the gospels. Peter and Saul/Paul invented a whole new religion that is contrary to what JC said; I had to write off the NT a long time ago. It’s like trying to read the worst-ever fan fiction.

Your Lord says: 'It is easy for Me; and We shall do so in order to make him a Sign for mankind15 and a mercy from Us. This has been decreed.' Glory be to Him! When He decrees a thing He only says: "Be" and it is.22 وَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ رَبِّىۡ وَرَبُّكُمۡ فَاعۡبُدُوۡهُ ؕ هٰذَا صِرَاطٌ مُّسۡتَقِيۡمٌ (19:36) (Jesus had said): "Indeed Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so serve Him alone. This is the Straight Way."23 فَاخۡتَلَفَ الۡاَحۡزَابُ مِنۡۢ بَيۡنِهِمۡۚ فَوَيۡلٌ لِّـلَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا مِنۡ مَّشۡهَدِ يَوۡمٍ عَظِيۡمٍ (19:37) But different parties began to dispute with one another.24 A dreadful woe awaits on that great Day for those that reject the Truth. اَسۡمِعۡ بِهِمۡ وَاَبۡصِرۡۙ يَوۡمَ يَاۡتُوۡنَنَا لٰـكِنِ الظّٰلِمُوۡنَ الۡيَوۡمَ فِىۡ ضَلٰلٍ مُّبِيۡنٍ (19:38) How well shall they hear and how well shall they see on the Day they come to Us! But today the evil-doers are in manifest error. وَاَنۡذِرۡهُمۡ يَوۡمَ الۡحَسۡرَةِ اِذۡ قُضِىَ الۡاَمۡرُۘ وَهُمۡ فِىۡ غَفۡلَةٍ وَّهُمۡ لَا يُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ (19:39) (O Muhammad), warn those who are steeped in heedlessness and are obstinately rejecting the truth that the Day shall come when things will be finally decided and they shall be left with utter remorse. اِنَّا نَحۡنُ نَرِثُ الۡاَرۡضَ وَمَنۡ عَلَيۡهَا وَاِلَـيۡنَا يُرۡجَعُوۡنَ (19:40) Ultimately, We shall inherit the earth and whatever is on it; to Us shall they be returned.25 Surah Maryam 19:16-40

Is The Bible Corrupt? - Did God play a part in the writing of the scriptures, the word of God, the old testament and the new testament? Are the scriptures the Word of God? Did the prophets of old lie or quite possibly get it wrong? And what about Jesus? Was Jesus nothing more than a prophet as many say? There are those that believe that God who created the heavens and the earth, the universe and everything within was unable to make his perfect will and plan for redemption known to mankind. Are we to think that this all knowing, all powerful creator that created the heavens, the earth, the sun, the moon, the solar systems and the endless galaxies to include mankind in all of its beauty, splendor and perfection is not capable of making his will, plans and purposes known to his creation? Are we to think that he is incapable of interacting in the lives of those whom he created or has called and chosen? Are we to think that he lacks the ability to make known his will even through his creation and through even something as simple as the scriptures? The very same God that created all that we see, are we to think that this very same God lacks in wisdom, knowledge, perfection, righteousness, holiness, truth and creative ability. That he ( God ) can create all and everything, yet he can't create the very men to make him known to mankind right from the beginning? I think not. Is the book of Genesis a lie? Are all the books in the old testament a lie? Because and again, Jesus is mentioned and foretold in all the books of the old testament.

Within that, they believe that God had to send someone to make the corrections. In the old testament of the scriptures we find mention of Jesus throughout. His coming was foretold, his death was foretold, and his resurrections was foretold. Did Jesus and the apostles trick mankind while God sat back and laughed and took enjoyment in that? Only for God to eventually wake up and say wow, I guess I need to send another ( Muhammad ) to fix things. I think not. Tonight when you lay your head to go to sleep. And from nothing, God created everything. I read daily where Muslims love Jesus and believe that Jesus was a prophet. In the new testament when you look at the life and ministry of Jesus from his birth to his death to his resurrection to his ascension. It is told that Jesus performed many miracles, that he cleansed the lepers, that he healed the sick, that he caused the lame to walk, the blind to see, the speechless to speak, the dead to rise. Miracle after miracle after miracle. How could a mere man, a prophet do these things unless God was with him. Only God can do those things. The very same Jesus that is mentioned in the old testament that was foretold to come as the lamb of God who will take away the sins of the world. For as it is written in the old testament, "God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering" Genesis 22: 8 which was prophetically speaking of Jesus Christ on the cross.
Yet and again, are we to believe that God was only capable of making parts of his will, his plans and his purposes known to mankind through the prophets of old in the old testament, and that while some is true, some is in error and therefore God needed to send someone to make the corrections? I have more faith and confidence in God that he is very capable of making his will, plans and his purposes known to mankind without sending someone to make corrections. For He is God. Jesus is exactly who the scriptures state that he was and is. Yet just knowing about Jesus is only but a seed to knowing him and without the precious Holy Spirit ( who was also mentioned and foretold in the old testament scriptures ) sure you can read about Jesus, but you can never come to know him, hear his voice, experience his love, or know that you know beyond a shadow of doubt that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life and that redemption, sanctification and eternal life is found in and through no other or the teachings of another, but only through and in Jesus. But don't take my word for it. Ask him, call upon him, seek him and you will find him and he will make himself known to you. For whoever seeks finds, and whoever calls upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ will be saved and receive the promise of eternal life. For God is not a God of religion, but a God of relationships and we see this reality and fact throughout the old testament and the new testament. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3: 16

Hi! Can I please ask you a question? I am really doubtful about something. I've been researching and have come to find out that there are some bible verses missing, and books of the Bible that may have been taken out. Of course, the Bible was written by man but I've been told that the inspiration is from God. So, why were the translators taking out books and verses out of the bible?? I'm not sure about this and am honestly starting to question my faith and beliefs. I don't want to say I don't believe in the Lord, but I'm not sure anymore. Please help me understand.And doesn't it say that we must not alter God's word??? Isn't that contradiction?? I couldn't believe in a document when I could tell just from reading it that the New Testament has no understanding of Judaism and no connection to the Old Testament. Christianity doesn’t follow very well from the OT and not all from the Hebrew Bible, so the Hebrew Bible was altered to support Christianity and dubbed the “Old Testament”. Also, the non-gospel books of the New Testament have no connection to the gospels. Peter and Saul/Paul invented a whole new religion that is contrary to what JC said; I had to write off the NT a long time ago. It’s like trying to read the worst-ever fan fiction.

فِى الۡـكِتٰبِ مَرۡيَمَۘ اِذِ انْتَبَذَتۡ مِنۡ اَهۡلِهَا مَكَانًا شَرۡقِيًّا ۙ
(19:16) (O Muhammad), recite in the Book the account of Mary,13 when she withdrew from her people to a place towards the east;

(19:20) Mary said: "How can a boy be born to me when no man has even touched me, nor have I ever been unchaste?"
قَالَ كَذٰلِكِ ۚ قَالَ رَبُّكِ هُوَ عَلَىَّ هَيِّنٌ ۚ وَلِنَجۡعَلَهٗۤ اٰيَةً لِّلنَّاسِ وَرَحۡمَةً مِّنَّا ۚ وَكَانَ اَمۡرًا مَّقۡضِيًّا
(19:21) The angel said: "Thus shall it be. Your Lord says: 'It is easy for Me; and We shall do so in order to make him a Sign for mankind15 and a mercy from Us. This has been decreed.' "
فَحَمَلَـتۡهُ فَانْتَبَذَتۡ بِهٖ مَكَانًا قَصِيًّا
(19:22) Then she conceived him and withdrew with him to a far-off place.
فَاَجَآءَهَا الۡمَخَاضُ اِلٰى جِذۡعِ النَّخۡلَةِۚ قَالَتۡ يٰلَيۡتَنِىۡ مِتُّ قَبۡلَ هٰذَا وَكُنۡتُ نَسۡيًا مَّنۡسِيًّا
(19:23) Then the birth pangs drove her to the trunk of a palm-tree and she said: "Oh, would that I had died before this and had been all forgotten."
فَنَادٰٮهَا مِنۡ تَحۡتِهَاۤ اَلَّا تَحۡزَنِىۡ قَدۡ جَعَلَ رَبُّكِ تَحۡتَكِ سَرِيًّا
(19:24) Thereupon the angel below her cried out: "Grieve not, for your Lord has caused a stream of water to flow beneath you.
وَهُزِّىۡۤ اِلَيۡكِ بِجِذۡعِ النَّخۡلَةِ تُسٰقِطۡ عَلَيۡكِ رُطَبًا جَنِيًّا
(19:25) Shake the trunk of the palm-tree towards yourself and fresh and ripe dates shall fall upon you.
فَكُلِىۡ وَاشۡرَبِىۡ وَقَرِّىۡ عَيۡنًا ۚ فَاِمَّا تَرَيِنَّ مِنَ الۡبَشَرِ اَحَدًا ۙ فَقُوۡلِىۡۤ اِنِّىۡ نَذَرۡتُ لِلرَّحۡمٰنِ صَوۡمًا فَلَنۡ اُكَلِّمَ الۡيَوۡمَ اِنۡسِيًّا ۚ
(19:26) So eat and drink and cool your eyes; and if you see any person say to him: 'Verily I have vowed a fast to the Most Compassionate Lord, and so I shall not speak to anyone today.' "
فَاَتَتۡ بِهٖ قَوۡمَهَا تَحۡمِلُهٗؕ قَالُوۡا يٰمَرۡيَمُ لَقَدۡ جِئۡتِ شَيۡـئًـا فَرِيًّا
(19:27) Then she came to her people, carrying her baby. They said: "O Mary! You have committed a monstrous thing.
يٰۤـاُخۡتَ هٰرُوۡنَ مَا كَانَ اَ بُوۡكِ امۡرَاَ سَوۡءٍ وَّمَا كَانَتۡ اُمُّكِ بَغِيًّا ۖ ۚ
(19:28) O sister of Aaron!19 Your father was not an evil man, nor was your mother an unchaste woman."
فَاَشَارَتۡ اِلَيۡهِ ؕ قَالُوۡا كَيۡفَ نُـكَلِّمُ مَنۡ كَانَ فِى الۡمَهۡدِ صَبِيًّا
(19:29) Thereupon Mary pointed to the child. They exclaimed: "How can we speak to one who is in the cradle, a mere child?"20

قَالَ اِنِّىۡ عَبۡدُ اللّٰهِ ؕ اٰتٰٮنِىَ الۡكِتٰبَ وَجَعَلَنِىۡ نَبِيًّا ۙ
(19:30) The child cried out: "Verily I am Allah's servant. He has granted me the Book and has made me a Prophet
وَّجَعَلَنِىۡ مُبٰـرَكًا اَيۡنَ مَا كُنۡتُ وَاَوۡصٰنِىۡ بِالصَّلٰوةِ وَالزَّكٰوةِ مَا دُمۡتُ حَيًّا ۖ
(19:31) and has blessed me wherever I might be and has enjoined upon me Prayer and Zakah (purifying alms) as long as I live;
وَّبَرًّۢابِوَالِدَتِىۡ وَلَمۡ يَجۡعَلۡنِىۡ جَبَّارًا شَقِيًّا
(19:32) and has made me dutiful to my mother.20a He has not made me oppressive, nor bereft of God's blessings.
وَالسَّلٰمُ عَلَىَّ يَوۡمَ وُلِدْتُّ وَيَوۡمَ اَمُوۡتُ وَيَوۡمَ اُبۡعَثُ حَيًّا
(19:33) Peace be upon me the day I was born and the day I will die, and the day I will be raised up alive."21
ذٰ لِكَ عِيۡسَى ابۡنُ مَرۡيَمَ ۚ قَوۡلَ الۡحَـقِّ الَّذِىۡ فِيۡهِ يَمۡتَرُوۡنَ
(19:34) This is Jesus, the son of Mary; and this is the truth about him concerning which they are in doubt.
مَا كَانَ لِلّٰهِ اَنۡ يَّتَّخِذَ مِنۡ وَّلَدٍۙ سُبۡحٰنَهٗؕ اِذَا قَضٰٓى اَمۡرًا فَاِنَّمَا يَقُوۡلُ لَهٗ كُنۡ فَيَكُوۡنُؕ
(19:35) It does not befit Allah to take for Himself a son. Glory be to Him! When He decrees a thing He only says: "Be" and it is.22
وَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ رَبِّىۡ وَرَبُّكُمۡ فَاعۡبُدُوۡهُ ؕ هٰذَا صِرَاطٌ مُّسۡتَقِيۡمٌ
(19:36) (Jesus had said): "Indeed Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so serve Him alone. This is the Straight Way."23
فَاخۡتَلَفَ الۡاَحۡزَابُ مِنۡۢ بَيۡنِهِمۡۚ فَوَيۡلٌ لِّـلَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا مِنۡ مَّشۡهَدِ يَوۡمٍ عَظِيۡمٍ
(19:37) But different parties began to dispute with one another.24 A dreadful woe awaits on that great Day for those that reject the Truth.
اَسۡمِعۡ بِهِمۡ وَاَبۡصِرۡۙ يَوۡمَ يَاۡتُوۡنَنَا لٰـكِنِ الظّٰلِمُوۡنَ الۡيَوۡمَ فِىۡ ضَلٰلٍ مُّبِيۡنٍ
(19:38) How well shall they hear and how well shall they see on the Day they come to Us! But today the evil-doers are in manifest error.
وَاَنۡذِرۡهُمۡ يَوۡمَ الۡحَسۡرَةِ اِذۡ قُضِىَ الۡاَمۡرُۘ وَهُمۡ فِىۡ غَفۡلَةٍ وَّهُمۡ لَا يُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ
(19:39) (O Muhammad), warn those who are steeped in heedlessness and are obstinately rejecting the truth that the Day shall come when things will be finally decided and they shall be left with utter remorse.
اِنَّا نَحۡنُ نَرِثُ الۡاَرۡضَ وَمَنۡ عَلَيۡهَا وَاِلَـيۡنَا يُرۡجَعُوۡنَ
(19:40) Ultimately, We shall inherit the earth and whatever is on it; to Us shall they be returned.25

Is The Bible Corrupt? - Did God play a part in the writing of the scriptures, the word of God, the old testament and the new testament? Are the scriptures the Word of God? Did the prophets of old lie or quite possibly get it wrong? And what about Jesus? Was Jesus nothing more than a prophet as many say?
There are those that believe that God who created the heavens and the earth, the universe and everything within was unable to make his perfect will and plan for redemption known to mankind. Are we to think that this all knowing, all powerful creator that created the heavens, the earth, the sun, the moon, the solar systems and the endless galaxies to include mankind in all of its beauty, splendor and perfection is not capable of making his will, plans and purposes known to his creation?

Many believe that portions of the scriptures are in error ( corrupted ) while also believing that other portions are correct. Within that, they believe that God had to send someone to make the corrections. In the old testament of the scriptures we find mention of Jesus throughout. His coming was foretold, his death was foretold, and his resurrections was foretold. Did Jesus and the apostles trick mankind while God sat back and laughed and took enjoyment in that? Only for God to eventually wake up and say wow, I guess I need to send another ( Muhammad ) to fix things. I think not.
Tonight when you lay your head to go to sleep. Picture the universe, the galaxies, the stars, the earth, the sun, the moon. Then make everything disappear except the space, the void, and the darkness. Then make the space, the void, and the darkness all disappear and you have nothing. If you have nothing and no space in the first place, how could anything be? Yet God was before there was anything. And from nothing, God created everything. Are we to think that this God who is beyond human comprehension could create all that he did from nothing, yet could not make his will, plans and purposes known to his creation, mankind? I think not.
I read daily where Muslims love Jesus and believe that Jesus was a prophet. In the new testament when you look at the life and ministry of Jesus from his birth to his death to his resurrection to his ascension. It is told that Jesus performed many miracles, that he cleansed the lepers, that he healed the sick, that he caused the lame to walk, the blind to see, the speechless to speak, the dead to rise. Miracle after miracle after miracle. How could a mere man, a prophet do these things unless God was with him. Only God can do those things.
The very same Jesus that is mentioned in the old testament that was foretold to come as the lamb of God who will take away the sins of the world. For as it is written in the old testament, "God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering" Genesis 22: 8 which was prophetically speaking of Jesus Christ on the cross.
Yet and again, are we to believe that God was only capable of making parts of his will, his plans and his purposes known to mankind through the prophets of old in the old testament, and that while some is true, some is in error and therefore God needed to send someone to make the corrections?
I have more faith and confidence in God that he is very capable of making his will, plans and his purposes known to mankind without sending someone to make corrections. For He is God.
Jesus is exactly who the scriptures state that he was and is. Yet just knowing about Jesus is only but a seed to knowing him and without the precious Holy Spirit ( who was also mentioned and foretold in the old testament scriptures ) sure you can read about Jesus, but you can never come to know him, hear his voice, experience his love, or know that you know beyond a shadow of doubt that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life and that redemption, sanctification and eternal life is found in and through no other or the teachings of another, but only through and in Jesus.
But don't take my word for it. Ask him, call upon him, seek him and you will find him and he will make himself known to you. For whoever seeks finds, and whoever calls upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ will be saved and receive the promise of eternal life. For God is not a God of religion, but a God of relationships and we see this reality and fact throughout the old testament and the new testament.

If the Quran was truthfully "affirming the credibility" of the previous scriptures (that you consider the biblical scriptures we have today) then it would be contradictory to the Quranic message. And Quran would not be credible. However it is the bible that goes against both the Quran and parts of itself (monotheistic traces within the bible) so rationally speaking we should be more doubtful of the bibles today rather than anything else, due to the fact that the preservation of the bible came centuries after it came from Jesus.

The command for muhammad to go to the people of the book to verify the quran, is to demonstrate the foundations that all faiths testify to; Oneness, the prophets, the day of judgement. Bc the Arab people were foreign to this Abrahamic tradition (since they were idolaters) so the christians and jews will be able to demonstrate that Islam is part of their long tradition.
That is why the Quran (demonstrably preserved) is the criteria, to determine the truth in the bible and torah, from the falsehood. No doubt those scriptures have been doctored, case and point; 1st John 5:7 a known forgery in the bible from the 12th century (1200 years after jesus). As for the Torah, the dead sea scrolls are the oldest manuscripts of the torah and it is 1400 years AFTER the source; moses. Their oral tradition that jews stick to is insufficient, since it has gaps of centuries between 1 oral transmitter and another. This is all known history go and look it up, there's no excuse for ignorance in this day and age when information is at your fingertips.
The only thing we can rationally have faith in is the preserved Quran which validates itself and attributes itself with the truth of the injil and torah. Whilst dissociating and severely rebuking the falsehood.

Good video. We know from Muslim sources themselves that the quran is not complete and is "corrupt", meaning there are missing chapters, verses see Sahih Muslim 2286, Sunan ibn Majah 1944 and others. No one has any idea how much Uthman's version of the quran and Mohd's differs but they do. Even so, the author of the quran did not understand what was written in the Bible. The Quran at the very least validates the Bible at the time of Muhammad and before the time of Muhammad.
This means that there are at least 4 complete bibles that are indisputably uncorrupted according to Muslims, as they have all been dated to before Muhammad’s death.

There are many instances where the Qur’an mentions directly or implicitly the alteration of former scriptures (tahrif), in speech and the written word, while a brief search in the hadith corpus does not show any statements of the Prophet mentioning it.
Qur’an
Among the references to tahrif in the Qur’an, we find:
‘And well ye knew those amongst you who transgressed in the matter of the Sabbath … although a group of them used to hear the word of Allah, and then, having understood it, used to distort it knowingly’ [2:65-75]
‘So, woe to those who write the Book with their hands and then say, “This is from Allah”, so that they may gain thereby a trifling price. Then, woe to them for what their hands have written, and woe to them for what they earn.’ [2:78]
‘Among them there is indeed a group who twist their tongues while (reading) the Book, so that you may deem it to be from the Book, while it is not from the Book. They say, “It is from Allah”, while it is not from Allah; and they tell lies about Allah knowingly.’ [3:78]
‘When Allah took a pledge from those who were given the Book: “You shall make it known to people, and you shall not conceal it,” they threw it away behind their backs, and acquired a small price for it. So, evil is what they acquire.’ [3:187]

Hadith
In the hadith literature, we find the words of Abdullah bin `Abbas (May Allah be pleased with them both) who said,
‘O the group of Muslims! How can you ask the people of the Scriptures about anything while your Book which Allah has revealed to your Prophet contains the most recent news from Allah and is pure and not distorted? Allah has told you that the people of the Scriptures have changed some of Allah’s Books and distorted it and wrote something with their own hands and said, ‘This is from Allah, so as to have a minor gain for it. Won’t the knowledge that has come to you stop you from asking them? No, by Allah, we have never seen a man from them asking you about that (the Qur’an ) which has been revealed to you.’ [al Bukhari]
Rejecting the validity of previous scriptures
In regards the Prophet ﷺ calling the People of the Book to reject previous scriptures and adopt the Qur’an, the following verses are explicit statements which affirm Islam as the final and only accepted religion for Mankind. The Qur’an invites the People of the Book to Islam by asking them to recognize the veracity of the Message which is a completion of their own texts. It does not however call to the universal validity of all faiths.
‘There are some who believe in Allah and in what has been sent down to you and what was sent down to them, and who are humble before Allah. They do not sell Allah’s Signs for a paltry price. [3:199]
Those We gave the Book before this [the Qur’an] believe in it. And when it is recited to them they say, “We believe in it; it is the truth from our Lord. We were already Muslims before it came.’ [28:52-53]
