Solid groove. What makes a pro drummer is precision, musicality, and ability to create drums parts. Take a drumless song (not something well known, but something fully new to you), and create a groove by yourself. It s an excellent exercise and way more difficult than doing covers. Great job there!
Couldn't agree more. Or she COULD take a well known song and come up with better parts/grooves for it. Listen to Message In A Bottle, the album version for example, and then how it was played later, live. For the most part it's just a change in drum parts but it makes the song completely different.
Your definitely better looking than Stewart Copeland, I'd give you the job! However, I'd prefer to hear your rendition of Spirits in the Material World? ;)
Well I run across your video of this song and I never was a fan of the police however I do like this song so I'm going to jump back there on my drums and play it is well thank you for the video and yes I subscribed
Great job 🥁 nice pocket ! Keep it up ! Love your style ! Check out the late Great Carlos Vega , great drummer to learn from. Can’t wait to see what’s next !!! 🥁
It's a long road ahead before approaching Vinnie's level, but that's true of 99.9% of the drummers in the world since he's one of the all-time best. Nice run at it, though - you have good swing and balance.
