With “smoothing” in the name I was totally expecting it to feel and look silicone-y and last like an hour before sliding off your skin. And I always get excited when your voice gets higher pitched - I know we got a good one (maybe)🤓

Looks great!! I bought this during the first Sephora sale. I’m 18 years older than you and probably drier-skin than you and I found this just a smidge drying now that it’s been cold in Michigan. So it might be perfect in the summer! What I’ve been doing is adding some of my Drmtlgy moisturizing tinted spf and I adore it this way!! Thanks for the great review!
I wonder if you could use this as a primer for a fuller coverage foundation? Where it covers pores so well, maybe it would be a great primer if you need more coverage. Could you do a video using it as a primer? I’m really curious if it would be a good primer. I need a fuller coverage than what it gives but I do t think i would buy it unless I know I could wear it under a foundation.

It's hard to find oil based ones that don't have water, as most are water based and might contain emulsified oils in them but are still water based. I don't ever have oily or combo skin so I can't speak from experience, but my guess is you're in the same boat as with dry skin in the sense that each individual formulation is different and it's a matter of trying them out and narrowing it it down based on experiences from people with similar skin, or trying samples.

This foundation looks like your skin, not like cakey makeup. I've been watching Videos about Trinny of London foundation and it looks super glowy and very much a 'your skin but better' product. Do you have any reviews on it? Your videos are so informative and enjoyable because you are so natural.
I swatched this in store and the problem is the shade range. It's pretty poor and I don't think there's a match for me. The shade you tried would be too dark for me too but the lightest one looks too light.
Omg Shelly I just went to buy this right after I saw your review lol ! I got Cool Fair bc you said CL was too dark, but CF is too light and not cool toned at all (for me at least). Swatched on my arm it looks like a pale yellowish color. The yellow isn’t strong so it’s passable on my face but a bit ghostly 😅 Back to Sephora it goes :/ it’s hard for me bc my perfect match are straight up very cool pink foundations which are rare. MAC FB is a decent match so far in W1.

I really like this skin tint! I love a good blur and this totally delivers. However it didn't last the longest on me, sadly. Just a few hours and it's winter here so I wasn't sweating it off or anything

@@oceanbird. hmm I also use urban decay All nighter which helps but I agree is not massively long wearing, but I find that a common theme with products like this such as the Nars T.M doesn't wear for long periods of time but I find the wear off is graceful

I tried one foundation from Jane Iredale and did not have good luck with it (though the die-hards came at me in the comments saying I applied it wrong.... lol anything that hard to use is still a pass in my book!) 😂
Virginia did not pass the removal of daylight saving time. It was introduced in the Virginia general assembly in January 2022, but it was tabled. That might be good though bc it was to keep standard time which stinks. Hopefully we'll eventually have daylight saving time for good 😁 Oh, and my cats also like to roast themselves on the heater.. It sounds nice, wish I could do that sometimes lol!

Soooooooo many of my friends never got their brows to grow back! And I'm so bad at drawing brow shapes that I'd be in a world of hurt if I didn't have my brow hair lol.
This is the most smoothing of all the ones like this! I like the Kosas tinted face oil quite a bit too, especially in the winter. The Westman Atelier drops are good on me too. There was a Nyx one that I loved but it was discontinued.

When product erupts, squeeze the bottle GENTLY, along the wider side of the bottle, then tap it (bottom of the bottle) on the top of your vanity/desk/table. Squeezing should cause it to suck air back in and tapping it should cause the liquid to settle back down…then put the cap back on. 💜💞💝

I’m her winter shade too! I’m thinking the cool fair may be the way to go. I would normally do fair neutral but that seems it may still be a bit dark.

I'd call it more of a peachy undertone. I don't have anything darker than NW15 in MAC to directly compare but I'd guess it's close to C4?
