After having this foundation for a few months, it's now my favorite summer foundation! I live in a very hot and sweaty climate and it's the best, it doesn't budge and it looks gorgeous and blurring and doesn't catch on any dry patches.
The only time I've ever had issues with it was 2 times I forgot to shake it before use. It didn't melt into my skin and emphasized dryness, so my advice is always shake the bottle before use! Every other time I've used it has been perfection ☺️
I need to try it in the humidity now that summer is setting in! I am pretty confident I will love it like you do.

I wish they would remove the fragrance. Ever since I've had Covid, I can't stand fragrance, especially on my face, and I am not alone in this. Great review. You are my number one source when foundation shopping!
I can hear my debit card whimpering softly, and my "self-imposed no-buy" commitment is wavering. Perhaps I'll put it on my birthday wish-list and just see what happens. Great video as always, thank you, and please tell Ziva that I'd be first in line to sign up for membership in her fan-club if/when that comes to pass.

@@bryndabaker6782 Me too!! Love blushes and I went through this powder blush phase and then moved on to the cream/liquid blush phase. Ugh...the struggle is real! LOL!

I have had this in my cart so many times, but every time I see the 3rd ingredient, alcohol, makes me so scared to try it! I think I will end up giving this product a try!
I am with you, have been trying foundation after foundation on the hunt for something that looks good on my 66 year old mature skin! I finally found one that works for me, and that is Estee Lauder Futurist Hydra Rescue Foundation. Love that foundation, but still looking for something that is a little less radiant. I may give this one a try.
@@naynay8219 Thank you for your comment! I have had issues in the past finding a shade match with EL because I am so pale. But maybe O can get a sample of it.
What is working for me now is mixing a moisturizer with a more matte foundation!

I went to Sephora today, got shade matched and they recommended this foundation. It’s amazing! It truly DOES look like “your skin but better”. WORTH the money! (By the way, I have combination skin that’s on the dry side)
Everyone I watch is loving this! 30 years of never buying a "high end" foundation may be coming to an end.

I never tried the original either, but I'm happy with loving the new one ☺️
Hi Shelley this one looked really good and that's really great wear for 12 hours. I got a sample of the newly reformulated Dior forever skin glow in their new shade 00N - which miraculously is a fabulous match to my skin tone (the first Dior foundation ever to be available in a shade to suit me). It's such an excellent shade match and the first time in the over 30 years of wearing makeup to find such a good shade match lol, but the foundation itself is pretty on the skin. On my super dry skin it works best with a hydrating primer, but it lasts about 10 hours without powdering. I want enough coverage to conceal my rosacea - super pale skin so the redness is very obvious when it is flared up. It's a medium coverage that will build up a bit without becoming cakey. I don't think it would look as good built to full coverage, but up to high medium it looks nice. There haven't been many videos on the reformulated version and I'm curious how it would work for you - compared to so many others lol. Best wishes.

Great to see your thoughts on this one! I was hesitant to try it but it really is lovely. I was worried it would be too dry (since they claim it’s on the matte side) but it’s so skin-like and with the right primer, it’s beautiful!

I bought this about 6 weeks ago and it is my new holy grail. It lasts the way it says it will, and I can wear it for 16 hours and go to a workout in the evening and it still looks amazing. I've held off buying the new Nars and of course my shade went out of stock during the Sephora spring sale, but I'm not really fussed because I am enjoying the MUFE so much.

I have the stick foundation from MUFE & it's one of my favorites so I definitely wanna try this but I wanna watch reviews on "realistic" skin so typical I love when a product looks really good on dry skin especially & if it's mature skin I more likely to love the product 😀.

@@oceanbird. so I have dry textured skin, whenever I wore it It gave me a flawless finish. It's a medium coverage and doesn't extenuate my texture or pores. I have to buy a new one lol. Mine got old. Its so hard for me to find a foundation that looks beautiful on my textured dry skin.

I ordered the wrong shade online so I’m exchanging but I’m sad I have to be without it for a time because it is so good! 😂 I have never looked so good after a nap, that’s what sold me!
Haha I love that! It's nice to wake up and look good after a nap ☺️ I was sold on it after I swatched it and it lasted all day and I had to wash it off my arm with oil cleanser. Plus the finish is so pretty and easy to use!
I was a little hesitant to use it too frequently at first because of the high alcohol, but I love it so much I gravitate to it and want to use it all the time. I looove how it lasts so well, through activities and sweat and heat!
@@oceanbird. Sweat proof is my biggest requirement! If it stays through a stressful special occasion, that would be holy grail status for me.
@@iwillstom Me too! I live in a very hot and humid climate in the summer, so makeup just melts off my face. Even with dry skin! The sweat is a lifestyle 😂 this summer is going to be the real test, but so far it has actually lasted (and looked good!) through sweaty activities including dancing, so I'm very hopeful.
Any thoughts on how it compares to the reboot? I know that’s another one of your faves!

They're suuuuuuuper close.... both get As from me.... HD Skin scored a few points higher but it's really negligible at that point. I think in terms of preference I'd go with whichever is a better shade match. They changed up their numbering for this one.

I was waiting for you to say that this made you feel a bit dehydrated because I’ve heard or read that a few times. I think there is denatured alcohol pretty high in the ingredient list. Can you please comment on this? I actually returned the Reboot after trying it and haven’t ever used another complexion product from MUF. I think, based on your “A” review, I’ll get color-matched and get a sample of this!! Thanks Shelly! ❤️
@R.C. There are different types of alcohol but denatured, if it’s high in the ingredient listing, can be dehydrating. There is a UA-camr in her late 50s who thought this MUF foundation felt dehydrating and then she reviewed the ingredients and said it made sense because of the denatured alcohol. I think I’ve recalled Shelly discussing this topic and I know she has often mentioned whether foundations feel hydrating or don’t. I was just curious.
@R.C. I am clear on why they use DENATURED alcohol. I was hoping Shelly might be able to give her thoughts.
It usually ends up being a matter of whether there are enough hydrating ingredients to balance the denatured alcohol for me. I feel like they've done a good job on balancing this one. I've worn it for a week straight without additional dryness.

Happy Easter Shelly. I have this foundation but have only used it once. I found it a bit drying on my very dry winter skin. However- now that summer is coming I think it will be perfect for my more normal summer skin. Thank you for your review. Btw- more GRWM’s please. I love watching GRWM

I’m a STAN of the old formula so I can’t wait to try this! Heatwave bronzer is hands down the best drugstore bronzer and rivals high end! I just picked up the new Flower Hightlight that is supposed to be the Charlotte Tilbury dupe! Can’t wait to try it too!
Looking at this one too! Normally we are a similar shade, and I have been looking at 1R02 Cool Alabaster. That might be a thought, although I know you can go a bit darker in the summer. Thanks for the review!

Broken bronzer case: Try a rubber band. Easy to put on and take off, and it makes the case less slippery. Love the foundation!
I picked up this foundation during the sale and I used it yesterday for the first time and boy howdy I love it!! And I’m a normal with oily t zone girl. I of course had to powder but I always do! I 100% agree with your grade on this foundation 🥳
Before powdering, is the finish more satin on you, or dewy? I have the same skin type as you and am wondering!
@@aliciapaul132 before I powder it’s definitely like satin finish. And I wore it again today and I still really like it but I did notice my entire face needed a heavy powdering after a few hours. I hope this is helpful for you 😘

It does look beautiful! Unfortunately, it aggravated me that MUF was using a social media advertisement where she was saying “I didn’t use any filter” and it was the MOST obvious filter I’d ever seen! (Many people commented about it, not just me. Lol). Really turned me off to the brand. 🤷🏻♀️
Oh my goodness!! I clicked on this so fast!! You’re the one who got me hooked on Makeup Forever Reboot. Now I’m totally convinced to buy this after seeing this on you. You look STUNNING seriously!! My absolute FAVORITE foundation on you. I’m just trying to figure out what color? I have Y225 in the Reboot & it’s a little dark but I add a tiny bit of a lighter shade of another brand to get my perfect match. Help me on a color match Shelly lol. I’m as fair as you but have more yellow undertones & I know you have more pink undertones. I need to buy this ASAP!! 😃💖🙌🙌🙌🙌 I will keep checking for your response. I want to get this asap. Did it dry your skin out any? The details said every skin type but dry. Your skin looks great and your cat is awesome. My daughter's kitten always jumps up in view when I'm in meetings. She wants to be the star..lol
I got to 5 days in a row with it and no additional dryness so it seems like a well balanced formula despite the denatured alcohol!

I trust you the most and I'm on the hunt for an awesome foundation. What is your most favorite foundation of all time that isn't drugstore, but also isn't crazy expensive, that is satin or natural finish with good coverage? Please and thank you😁
Nars Light Reflecting Foundation is the only foundation I've ever given a perfect 100%. I've got multiple shades so I can wear it year-round and it's the only foundation I brought with me last summer for 2 months of travel. If I had to pick only one.... that would be it.

A lot of these foundation's come with a load of hype, but don't live up up to there claims. Never heard of this foundation. Where did you get it. I'm from 🇬🇧 England. Did look nice on you. Colour was spot on. 👌
I don't think they ship directly to the UK. I got it at Sephora here in the US but I'm not sure if others might carry it near you.
Is it good for very dry skin does it give dewy finish and is fully transferproof and waterproof??? please mam plz reply!!!
I would describe it as a satin finish - slightly less luminous than fully dewy, but not at all matte. It's not completely transfer proof but it wears well under a mask and I usually get more than 12 hours of wear out of.
Hi! Looking good! Have to comment on the Flower bronzer- mine broke the same way the 2nd time I used it. I replaced it, the new one has busted too. It's not you lady- their packaging is awful!

I have REALLY good luck with MUFE foundations! There are a handful of brands that just work really well on me - MUFE, Nars, MAC... yep I definitely love this one.
