In that post he is completely right. Trees are really inefficient at capturing CO2, they don’t even capture the majority of CO2 out of all organisms on Earth. Most CO2 is “processed” by oceans: Algae, Phytoplankton etc. But even that is far from enough for our CO2 emissions, we need to come up with something else. Just planting trees would be next to useless resource waste. Even if you just put solar panels instead of the forest you would actually improve overall CO2 “balance” and panels are far from efficient energy producers.

Also, it makes the room that much more versatile and increased the customer base. Another option is the UK chain Hotel classic: the double bed, the pull out that normally lives under the double bed and the sofa that just so happens to have a mattress in a nice looking cover instead of your standard sofa cushions.
