Want to further your channel and increase your subscribes, both of you get into metal detecting, especially for Civil War artifacts. I have found so many nice artifacts from the Civil War here in the Shenandoah Valley. You will also enjoy the sport immensely as you never know what is going to come out of the ground.

as always red you are fantastic. it was nice to see your friend climb in the window too....but chester stole the show! when i go deep sea fishing often the fish come in with their stomachs popped out of their mouth and their stabilization bladders causing all kinds of freaky upside down behavior. the good thing about most deep sea fish is that you can just gently push the stomach back in side (hand down the throat mind you). you can hear and see the bladder air working it's way out of the system and they are good for a toss back. i've never seen the needle method and am sure grateful you shared! i love that you don't waste and can see even from the youtube platform that you have a genuine respect for life.

Oh man seein that yellow perch brings back memories. We used to sit behind our school where a creek fed into the little Egg harbor river and just bail perch on bread balls and bobbers as a kid. They were never as fat as that one you got at first but numbers made up for size so always plenty of meat. When they slowed down we switched to red n white spinners and could catch a pike just about any where you threw a cast.

Where I live in Illinois, we call your bait a Golden Roach ! Shiners are a more silvery & have a more slender body style ! As for those Yellow Perch...W O W !!! I've only caught perch that size in Lake Michigan, and they are the best fish I have ever eaten !!! 😋😋🥰

Sometime maybe try a little larger hook, and hook your minnow behind the dorsal fin, the minnow can swim more naturally. Perch are good eating, btw, walleye are a member of the perch family. Nice video, good to see you enjoying fishing!
