Years ago I got arthritis from the rubella vaccine. A week after I got it I broke out in red spots and my joints were so painful the only way I could get down my inlaw’s stairs was one step at a time sideways. It never totally went away. Be careful what you put in your body because you can never undue it.

Several of my coworkers, all ICU nurses, got the shingles vaccine this year and all ended up in the ER with horrible side effects. Needless to say they are not getting the follow up vaccine. Stay safe!
What side effects did they have,? I’m considering the vaccine because I’m a nurse as well and want to protect myself by getting it. I just want to be aware of what can happen. Thank you!
How anyone trust any Vaxx at this point is beyond me. It is a personal choice. I just pray for people that keep getting vaxx. Every person I know had problems with the shingles vaxx!!

As someone that got shingles in my eye and across my scalp - was closely monitored as white blood cells covered my eye they were concerned about losing vision. I’d get the vaccine over that any day
I have had both shingles vaccines and only had a very sore arm for a few days. That is so much better than contracting shingles. Everyone reacts differently, so it is hard to predict how it will impact someone. Hugs!

I was terminated from my job in healthcare after 31 yrs of service in 2021 due to non-compliance. I live in beautiful British Columbia, Canada, the last province in Canada STILL mandating the Covid-19 injection for healthcare staff. If it were me I would not get the second one… I have never got a flu shot or the Covid or the shingles, but I did have shingles once and has not come back so maybe you should do some research on this vaccine it’s just my opinion, but it seems like doctors these days. Years ago I had a Tetanus Booster and my arm was hard as a rock and a big red circle just like you have. It was at that time, I said, “No more Vaccines”. I am so much better without them. I have had the shingles shots and had absolutely no side effects. The good news is once you have had the two shots you never have to have them again. Hope you feel better soon and I am so glad you got them. I love you dearly.

It's good that you called your doctor. My mom had bad swelling & bruising from the flu & another injection. She had two done at one visit. Anyway the doctor said she's having an allergic reaction and should no longer get any injections because the allergic reaction could be worse next time.
Oh Lisa I sure pray you feel better soon. I’m 75 and I won’t get any vaccinations. Didn’t get COVID or flu vaccines. Not shingles. I’ve heard too many horror stories. I’m honestly more fearful of the vaccinations than the flu or shingles. And more than COVID.
@@IvanaZoloft I had covid last year and the only way I knew, 3 months later, my hair started falling out for 3 months total. That was one of the symptoms. I’ll take my chances with covid, colds etc than take the clot shot.

I caught COVID and I survived and so did my own immune system. Also, I have underlying issues and I am still here. No vaccine for a virus they know almost nothing about. I mean when you get to the point within 3 years that you need boosters, insane. We have an immune system for a reason. ♥ Hope you feel better soon and to each their own. I’ve had shingles back in my 20’s and talk about painful. I’ve never gotten the vaccine, heard it’s not good. My poor friend had a terrible reaction to it, passed out several times. I hope you don’t have any weird symptoms.
Hope you feel better, Lisa! My mom too had a reaction to the shingles vaccine, and has a dime sized discoloration/scar years later at the injection site. She had previously had shingles for 18 months, hence the reason she got the vaccination. The illness from shingles was way worse than the vaccination.

Lisa, you definitely are having a reaction to the shot. The same thing happened to me but my are swelled up literally half the size of my thigh. I have a very small arm like yours. It was my 1st shot so I did not get the 2nd one & my doctor agreed for me not to take it again. It was during the night & I felt like I was in a bad dream. It was horrible.

Hi Lisa. Yes, that shingles shot is something else. The first one made me feel like I had the flu. Went to bed with fever, chills and aches. Had me down for a full day and night. I was scared to take the second one, but I did. It was fine. No issues with it, but that first one was a real doozie! Feel better soon. Always enjoy your videos. 😘

I have had shingles and NEVER want to experience that pain again. I have since, taken both shingles vaccines. The second left my arm red, hot, and swollen. I felt lousy for a couple days. Hope you are recovering and feeling much better now.
Two ladies that I work with had aching and fever after getting the shingles vaccine, but when I had the shingles vaccine I never felt any negative side affects. I hope you feel better soon. I love watching all your videos, you always have a calming presence and you look amazing! ♥

YES, she should get the second vaccine. She's half way there. She doesn't want shingles. It can have lasting, painful effects for the rest of your life if you get it. She vaccine is worth a little pain and discomfort.

I took sitz baths (which I did anyway) used some Aveeno oatmeal in the tub, and wallah. No problems since. Ya'll hear this crap and run with it and have no idea what you're talking about.

😊SHOT ADVICE. I’ve had both shingles shot. I usually react to everything but I was told by the pharmacist that to disperse the vaccine and to reduce any problems that I need to physically move my arm for an hour. I was in Target and I shopped around the store discreetly reaching for things, swinging my arms, kept moving. I had no reaction, no pain nothing! The second time I did the same , I had a mild tenderness in the injection site, no other reaction.

Oh no! I don’t do a lot of vaccines but I did do the Shingles. (Many years working with patients who have had shingles and it’s horrible) No issues with either shot. Sorry you are going through this.

Awe, poor girl, I can tell u don’t feel good. But you still look beautiful! I got Shingles 5 years ago along my back nerves, it was horrible, felt like bad sunburn inside my skin, lasted about a month! I later got both vax’s without side effects. However, not sure it was necessary, so skeptical about all the pharm meds these days. Hope you feel better, rest this weekend. Love ya in CA❤

I am 51. I got the shingles vaccine right when I turned 50. I got both shots 3 mths apart. I def didn’t have the reaction that you did. I was able to exercise and carry on my normal activities. Maybe a little achy but that’s it. Everyone reacts differently.

I have a small case of the shingles. I was sick with a fever and throwing up for 16 days straight. I would not wish that on my worst enemy..
I got the shingles vaccine for the same reason and felt very sick afterwards. The second shot did not leave me feeling as sick as the first one. I agree that getting shingles would have been much worse and you can clear it up then it often reoccurs in your body. No, thank you.
I know someone that had a bad reaction from the shingles shot .the first one was fine the second one was horrible ! His hair fell out in clumps and he had a rash that look like chicken pox ! The dr said everything will be fine but the bad reaction is horrible to go thru !

I finally got my shingles vaccines this past year and I had bad side effects. I was literally in bed for 3 days. I felt weak, achy, no appetite and my arm was very sore. I had no swelling. The 2nd shot was not as bad. I hope you feel better soon!

Every time I get a vaccine (Covid, flu, shingles, tetanus ) I go to the gym and put in a good 90 minute workout. I never really feel too bad. No scientific evidence but I’m 72 and can’t complain with this routine! Once I felt a bit sleepy, but I could have just been tired.

Oh Lisa. I hate when you don’t feel good! I hope they were able to help you. My sweet mom was just diagnosed with shingle yesterday (Thurs). She’s had the vaccine as well. She is 71. I guess it’s in her hips? Such a crazy thing.

Lisa, I do hope you are feeling better! I woke up in the middle of the night in mid-November with the horrendous feeling that a wild animal was CHEWING on the left side of my waist - SHINGLES - life has been a fog of tremendous pain since then that I am just starting to come out of - have been only able to wear large 100% silk slip dresses (I am petite) all day and night and sleep on my right side on bamboo sheets - would not wish this on ANYONE!

Lisa, I have had shingles twice! Awful, I was sick all over both times. So I got the Shingles Vaccine both doses. It was so painful but it was so much better than getting shingles. 😮
Omg. Those shingle shots put me in the bed for a couple days. I figured it was better than getting shingles.

Lisa, I started to having shingles when I took chemo and my system broke down at 35. I had them several times a year most painful and sick feeling. They approved me for the shot before I was 50, yes it was rough for a few days , but I don’t get them now and if I do it is much lighter case. Hope you feel better soon.
I'm so sorry you are feeling badly, but know it is going to be worth it. I had shingles that lasted for 11 weeks and was the worst pain I've ever had. I only wish I had gotten the vaccinations sooner. After I got through the shingles I then had to get the shots. Like you, I felt lousy for a couple of days. The second shot wasn't nearly as bad.
Feel better Lisa - I had the same tough time after that vaccine. It takes a few days to get through the reaction. ♥

OMG same thing happened to me and my husband. The 1erst shingles dose was bad, but the 2nd one was “terrible”. The side effects were so bad we thought we were having COVID again. It took a 4 days to get better. Hope you feel better soon. 🙌🏼💕
My husband had shingles..... I ran out and got mine before age 50, and I got the newer vaccine (theres 2) and yes I was so sick but hang in there worth it. What my husband went through there are no good words he has scars from them.
