    Interesting to hear the differences between the 2. I went with 10.5 turn purely from recommendations throughout the community and have not been disappointed but wondered why this is considered the holy grail for Motor option running on p tile.

      I really enjoyed getting to drive one for the first time. Before I added any boost to the 10/5t, it felt almost as powerful as the 13.5T when the 13.5t was cranked to the max with boost.
      I have a feeling thats a big reason. I think because Ptile has a lot more grip than polished concrete. That the 10.5t gives you that extra ability to turn up the power a bit more if you need it where as the 13,5t can only give so much before you need the extra speed.
      Im glad I have both and will definetely do some comparisons down the road once I have a second esc🤘🏼

    I like the look of black electronics and shocks on a colored chassis better than all one color actually. It makes it look like there was some thaugt behind it and adds some flare I think 😊

      Agreed! I went with a all black motor on my primarily purple build to break up the colors.

    I finally just got myself the RD 1.0 rtr and I’ve been having a blast with it so far but in terms of upgrades what do you recommend as a first upgrade?

    • @SeanLewisMedia
      @SeanLewisMedia  10 місяців тому +1

      Thats awesome to hear man! If you go back about 9 months in my videos i actually started with the RD1.0 RTR! My car in this video is actually still whats left of my rtr after upgrading it over the last year🤘🏼
      There are a ton of ways you could go for directions. The most commonly suggested route is to start with electronics, because they really have a huge influence on the driving characteristics.
      I luckily had a radio and reciever from my old rc racing days so that was the first thing I changed. Its probably the most important upgrade because with any rtr radio system they are not known for making you feel connected to the car. When you switch to a nicer radio it will unlock a whole new feeling on the way the car feels and drives.
      My servo and gyro were the first things I paid to upgraded on my rtr, I got a yokomo V4 gyro and at this point I would recomend the Reve D RS ST servo as thats what im currently running.
      After that a lot of guys will upgrade their motor and esc to get more power and tune-ability.
      The biggest thing i would suggest is to just ask your self how far you want to go and if you think you do it for a while:) That can kinda help determine how far you want to upgrade and what you want to pay for as far as features.
      You can also sprinkle some performance chassis mods along the way, such as shocks and springs, magnetic mounts for a body, arms and a few other solid modifications. I do have a feel videos about my upgrade journey with my rtr if you ever want to check them out👍🏼

    What about a 13.5 ?? What’s the difference between the 10.5 and 13.5

    • @SeanLewisMedia
      @SeanLewisMedia  2 дні тому

      The 13.5t is a slower motor but with more torque. At the local track I've found the 10.5t works better for me and my driving style. Its really up to personal preference but I have seen 13.5t being more popular at smaller tracks where the 10.5t seem more popular at the bigger tracks.

    Hey what is the differences between the agile and the fledge? Have you tried the fledges?

    • @SeanLewisMedia
      @SeanLewisMedia  5 місяців тому +1

      @@cianu6 I have tried the fledge and I preferred the agile. It’s really aggressive and snappy in my opinion where the fledge is a bit smoother into the power. Both are awesome I just really like the aggressiveness of the agile. I’m not sure technically speaking what the main differences are so I apologize but I do know they both feel great!

    Ive always been curious to try a drift motor in a race application but never looked too far into it. Any thoughts?

    • @SeanLewisMedia
      @SeanLewisMedia  10 місяців тому +1

      To be honest I’m not sure but that a good question. The only concern I would have with the drift motor compared to some other 1/10 race motors is the fan they build into them. Indoors you would probably be fine but outdoors it might just suck dirt straight onto the motor and wreck it.

    Nice review. My question is does the motor cog? I have 10.5 hobbywing d10.5’s and they are very smooth when spun by hand. I tried a yokomo T13.5 while I like the motor I didn’t care for the cogging. Also did your hobbywing 13.5 cog? Thanks!

    • @SeanLewisMedia
      @SeanLewisMedia  10 місяців тому +2

      My Hobbywing didn’t spin super well by hand but this new motor does. This new motor is incredibly smooth to be honest and I’m excited to see how it ages as I beat on it this year🤙🏼 No fogging on either which is good👍🏼

    Hi can you give a recommendation for the body width for the Yokomo MD 1.0 Chassis
    I bought a Toyota Supra A90 from Pandora with a width of 197mm at the front but I have to cut out too much which destroys the body
    What width is your MST body?

    • @SeanLewisMedia
      @SeanLewisMedia  10 місяців тому +1

      I’m not exactly sure how the sizing of the bodies works. You could possibly find the sizes on the superg website. I think they have it listed but I really haven’t done a ton of research into different sizes bodies.

    im fairly certain the people who are into drift rc (or maybe its just people who throw every aluminum part available on their car) are the same who are/were into mech mod vapes and buying ridiculous coils and blowing giant douche clouds.

    • @SeanLewisMedia
      @SeanLewisMedia  10 місяців тому +3

      That’s a pretty douche bag opinion if you ask me. Maybe some projections from your own insecurities are rising to the surface and for some reason you felt the need to make a dumb comment that waisted yours and my time.
      I can do it too watch, I think people with dirt bike profile pictures are the type of people who work shit jobs and have no education, they drink too much and they beat their wives. Just because I can write all that down doesn’t mean I should have and it also doesn’t mean it’s the truth. Just a dumb opinion.
      I don’t know if an rc drifter stole your girl and your bitter or what but it’s honestly an awesome hobby and I bet if you tried it and met some of the people that are into. You would realize how cool it is.
