I copied the slide from Azuma's fleet when making FDG and forgot to edit the info after editing the fleet. So I will add some quick info here:
Strengths: Bismarck Ironblood synergy is really strong so you should not have problems clearing nodes with this backline.
Weakness: Not too many options when to choose from. Costly in terms of oil.
Replacements: Ironblood vanguard has a few tanky options to choose from if you don't want to use Portland like Prinz Eugen and Roon. Zepppy is also a cheaper option if you have her leveled up.
This video I give some tips and show off some of the fleets I plan to use to farm for season 2 of Azur Lane EN's PR ships. Feel free to ask any questions or share some ideas in the comments or on my Discord server.

Ah, you're right. Too much copy and pasting to save some time. I wouldn't have much to say about that fleet anyways since there isn't really much to choose from so not missing out on much info. Thank you for pointing out the error though, and thanks for the support!

lol I haven't played much WoW myself but I watched a bit. It seems like a huge pain to grind some of the late game stuff. At least we get auto mode to making PR ship farming a little easier on us. Good luck with you PR ship farming!

Forgot to change the info for FDG's fleet setup slide when coping and pasting. I added some quick info to the description if you are looking for it.
Right now there is an event, similar to the Italian ships event, to boost EXP gained for Shoukaku, Atago, Akatsuki, and Shigure. This gives a 20% boost to those ships. Could be useful if you want to farm for Kitakaze or Azuma and you have those ships.
I use shoukaku for my Azuma grind since she have a exp boost for the upcoming event.
Yeah, I wish I had know more about this event so I could have prepared for the EXP boosts beforehand. Regardless, they are nice to have if you want to also level up those ships. Good luck on your PR grind!

Does fdg's 2nd skill dependent on the gun equiped or is it dependent on how many times does she fire a salvo

I just reached chapter 12 yesterday, and my ironblood fleet is ready to go, but I still have Izumo to finish

What levels are they roughly? Don't think mine are high enough to do those fleet comps at 12-4
For my farming, all of the ships were at least over level 100, but ideally I would want them to be over level 110. On top of this I had safe danger level on 12-4 as well. If you are wanting to do 3+1 or 1+3 fleet setups then I would recommend them to be around 110 to effectively clear multiple enemy fleets. My North Caroline is only level 105, so if your other ships are high level then they can carry the lower level ships. If you don't have high enough level ships I would either recommend going to earlier chapters, the difference between 11-4 and 12-4's EXP drop is not that big, or you could just add in a healing ship to the back line or having two vanguard ships. Hope this helps!
i need to get iron blood main ships, i just have Graf Zeppelin and Gneisenau how can i get the other iron blood mains?
As of right now, there is no way to get the other Ironblood backline ships. In the future though, we may get war archives for the Tirpitz event and you will be able to get Scharnhorst and Gneisenau.
Edit: I thought Tirpitz was farmable but it's just Scharnhorst and Gneisenau
But what if i started playing a month ago and don't have event ships like shousho or graf Zeppelin, are there alternatives?
For newer players, PR development will be a bit more difficult since they have less chapter stories to farm and less ships to choose from. I would recommend picking one of the one of the PR ships that have Eagle Union, Sakura Empire, or Royal Navy requirements, then just playing the game as normal. This way you are unlocking more chapter maps and getting new ships that drop from them. Then later on you can farm some of the PR ships that you didn't meet requirements for.
Houshou is a map drop from chapter 7-4 so if you are clearing more chapter maps you will get her eventually.
As of right now, all 6 of the backline ships for Ironblood are limited time only. So you will have to wait for a rerun event, war archives, or new event that has Ironblood ships to get more ships to choose from. Same goes with Gascogne since Dunkerque and Jean Bart are limited time as well. For some of the old events they have added some of the limited boats to the permanent construction pool on JP/CN version, so eventually you will have access them.
PR ship is for veteran players and it won’t disappear take your time enjoy the game contents

I'm glad you enjoyed the video! For getting Sakura tech points I would recommend trying to either get some map drop ships that you are missing (you can farm other PR ships while you do this too!) or sticking some Sakura ships that are close to level 70 in you dorm then getting them to max limit break. Also note that we are getting a new Sakura Empire themed event, likely on the 26th, so if you do the limited build during the event that will get you some more points as well. Hope this helps!

I’m new to the game and I’m kinda confused on how to get the iron blood tech points I’m trying to get FDG. If you could, explain what that is and how I can grind that, please.
You get tech points whenever you receive a new ship, get it to max limit break, and when you get them to level 120. You have to get enough of these points specifically with iron blood ships to start FDG's development. I think the fastest way to get enough points to unlock her would be to collect more Ironblood ships and get ships to max limit break. Getting them to 120 takes quite a long time so it's not as worth it. So if you want to specifically focus on that task then I would check the Azur Lane wiki, under the chapters section, to see which ships that you can receive as a drop from chapter maps. Then farm those for the iron blood ships you are missing. Also put in some iron blood ships that are not lvl 70 yet in the dorm so you can get them to max limit break. I hope this helps!

Yeah, sadly Georgia is not as strong as some other BBs in the game, but she still has some merit when it comes to boss fights against larger ships. Thank you for the comment!

And yeah, she have some merit, but she should be stronger, I'm not saying FDG should be weaker, but Georgia should ne in the same Level of power, we are talking about 457's with American gun systems from Iowa (still not in the game, but I bet will have a lot of acc due to the hytorical state of Iowa class).
I'm not a American, but this is totally the truth.. Also I feel bad as fuck because I think Yamato, Musashi and Iowa, Missouri and the third one will not be the Strongest BBs in the game (and they should).
I mean, georgia would have Iowa class hull, so better AA and armor layout than NC class and shouth Dakota class... Plus 457 with probably the same acc that Iowa will have (she should). Georgia is just a Iowa class bb who never existed because of the Washington naval treatment (same shit happened to monarch because of it).
But well, she is the best on my port, probably that would be what metters to her
I would agree that Georgia got the short end of the stick compared to the other PR2 ships. I'm not sure what the process is like for the developers when designing and balancing new ships, so I'm guessing it some behind the scenes decision to have Georgia the way she is. Her corresponding PR gun is supposed to be amazing but I hear the drop rate is really low so, I'm not sure if Ill get to try it out.
I think I would most like to see some more play able content that can appeal to veteran players, so that some of the more niche ships can get some use. There are a few ships in the game that are strong but are out classed by ones that are stronger. Right now the the only content for veteran players is just grinding out max level stuff ( I wouldn't really count challenge mode or EX maps since they don't really have rewards ). I think it would be nice to see content that includes using a larger variety of ships or larger fleet sizes, as well content that interacts with other players. I think this would allow some ships that are in the game currently to get used more, and new ships that will be added later on to not either outclass current ships or be worse than what we already have and be disappointing.
Lastly, I appreciate the support comments like yours show. It makes me wish I could do this more than just a hobby on occasion because it is enjoyable for me to see have people comment and discus the game!
@@strm9084 I agree with you, it would be really nice some kind of game mod where you can use mote shipfus or at least with some specific shipfu. I'm trying put them all lv100 with love affinity, for me is kinda cool do it right now, is a way to grind purple parts and stuff that I need. And the most important part, is see how lovely each one of them are. I started on the last day of July, so is till have a lot to do and only 3 shipfus form the pr1 with only one being Dev30, the other 2 about dev22 or 25.
But I'm gonna have to go out of my way to do Georgia, since I saw her for the first time, and her voice and way to talk... Jesus I can't leave it for a later moment. At least to have her as secretary haha.
Do you know how lucky influence the game? (The shipfus from PR don't get luck till Dev30 with the other part, so I would like to know)
And btw, American intelligence didn't know about Musashi and Yamato till Iowa class was ready or close to. They did about some "large battleship". They would probably try finish Georgia if they did knew about the 460, but usually, American BBs was used to scout fleets and make sure the task forced would have the punch power if needed (and what a punch power, Iowa probably is a museums because is not worth go out with a big ship like her).
Its good to have goals set for yourself, it makes the game more enjoyable! Recently I was working on getting more ships to max level.
Georgia would definitely make a good secretary ship. I will likely get one of her skins when they get released on the EN server because I think they look really good.
As far as luck goes, it only affects combat in a couple ways, critical rate and evasion/accuracy. I don't know exactly how much it effects it since its a formula with quite a few variables. It is interesting to read into the naval history after playing Azur Lane. So I appreciate you sharing!
