I might be biased because of my lvl 125 200 bond max skills BiS August von Parseval wife being slandered, but by no means Ark Royal achieves the same level of damage, and even if you compare them in utility (the slow to set up their own converging torp dives), Formidable beats them both even with very little equipment. Like it's insane how much damage Formi can set up with very F2P friendly gear (including purple Albacore!) compared to what my +13 saiun kai + junkers + flapjack AvP can dish out. But she is by no means any weaker! Pretty good for bossing!
Also as a newbie, Chkalov isn't that bad if you have no dive bomber geared carriers for mobbing, otherwise her screen wide barrages completely MELT mobs. Problem is you can get the same for less blueprint grind by using other easier accessible carriers like Saratoga, Independence, or Taihou....

Ark Royal retrofit requires very low investment and is very easy to get and she matches AvP in most cases and out performs her if RNG is good. By no means is AvP bad but why invest so much time and resources in her when ark royal retrofit can do the same while being insanely cheap and easy to get. Ark royal can literally compete with some URs on good days. (Not hakuryuu though, after her fate sim.)
As for Formidable, I've tried her too on some occasions and her own damage is quite lacking. I don't find her slow valuable enough for her to replace another ship that can deal twice as much damage as her.
And yes exactly as you said, why would anyone in their right mind bother building Chkalov when you can just use Saratoga for mobbing. Just a waste of resources. Although as you progress, you would obviously want to unlock and max every PR ship there is but this video only focuses on how to effectively make your fleet stronger by investing your resources first and foremost into strong PR ships. Why would I recommend someone to invest into a PR ship if it can be either outclassed or matched in strength by a non PR and super easy to get Elite or SR ship.

I personally have some things I disagree with. Mainly the fact that you say that the pr6 ships are not worth getting and no one talks about them. Especially Shimanto is a ship that I hear a lot of people talk about. In every Video about World 15 I watched Shimanto was named at least once. The second complain I have is flandre. Saying that she is not worth it, but saying that champagne is, is imo a very wild take. Flandre is one of the only SR Battleships with preload that fires her guns 3 times. While Champagne only fires her guns one time. Imo that makes her at least name worthy. Saying Georgia is worth it imo a pretty interesting take , because there is like nothing special about her except that her barrage that does a little above average dmg against bosses. You might be better of by just using hood or monarch on her own. Also Gascogne and prinz Rupprecht are 100% worth getting, because they are both very good for mob fleets. Same goes for Odin which is also quite good for Mob fleets, but can also be used in boss fleets what imo makes her good for beginners, because she is so versatile. On most of the other things I agree with you. Mainz is very underrated and she is cute so bonus points for that, same goes for roon. I personally think getting Seattle and Cheshire is a little unnecessary. You really don't need Seattle if you have San Diego and/or Shimanto. I agree with the pr4 take Anchorage is the best, the other two are also very good. For pr5 i think you underestimate Prinz Rupprecht, she is very good.
Also a little bit of a personal thing, but everyone should get Ibuki. Most underrated ship in the game.

@@Xelnage2006 You seem to get the point that this video is for beginners but also miss the point entirely. For *beginners* PR6 is not worth putting the heavy investment of time when you can get something better from the earlier PRs which doesn't require you to farm the prints. Eventually, it is recommended to get all the ships which I did mention as well. Ships like champagne and Georgia are really good for what they are worth and I've used them heavily back in the days.

@@Paulex57 Sorry I forgot that you can't level pr6 with coins atm. If beginners want those ships they need to take their time farming then. But I stand with my point that Georgia and Champagne are not worth getting. Even if you take Flandre out of the calculation I think that you are better off grinding for other ships. We might get the ability to level pr5 ships with coins soon so Prinz Rupprecht might still be a good option for beginners.
