This is a Swedish morning show who doesn't have a live audience but is airing live so that's the reason for the "one person clap". It's the programs host who claps in the background.
This is in swedish televison in the morning, and there is no audience there (who would attend a morning program that is like 4 hours anyways?). So the reason why only one person is clapping is because there's only one or two other persons there beside José. José is our swedish pride.
I don't know if anybody knows this but the guy on the bongos and the chick with the cowbell are from a band called little dragon. They have really cool music as well.
He'll probably have his two friends, a guy who plays bongos and a girl with a wood block. Sometimes they reverb his voice, which is awesome (but I won't give away too much). You can see with the whole setup that Jose is all about simplicity. Simple instruments, simple chords (but played EXTREMELY well) for a simple sound. But, that was in Portland, he could be going solo while in Europe. Where are you seeing him? The only show I know about is in Greece in a few days.
