They should add a new gallery tab and people can upload saves (or newcrest specific saves) of different worlds where people can place them to replace over the existing saves, this would be cool for so many reasons that I’m sure you’ve thought of while reading this. I know it won’t ever get enough attention for the sims build to do this but I still wish we had this haha
I’d love this, especially since I re-did every lot in every neighborhood and then my saved glitched. So now that’s gone and I’m working myself back up to play the game again. This would be a game/life saver!
@@LittleSparrow17 yes! Imagine the endless possibilities. Royal themed save, apocalypse themed, could download a save full of shops and restraunts,spas, bowling alleys, swimming pools, movie theatres etc so your sims have more activities to do. Also just in case you didn’t know if you make another save you can back them up and save them on your computer through sims studio or ts4 tray importer is what I use, I just save the save onto another drive and if the save has cc in it it will have a list that you can compress into a zip file so you can play that save whenever with the cc you made it with!

Back when we only had like 5 Neighbourhood i LOVED Newcrest. I always filled the whole area by building myself. It always took so many days and i never played with my sims in it after 😂 But the building was always fun

I like this. It's different in a good way because most bars have the same thing and I love this one because you shaped it different. You're so talented.
After the Grow Together cinema, I wish they would refresh the worlds with some rabbit hole buildings like that, so they wouldn't feel just like decorations. It seems like not too much work but would be super nice

The roof trim issue has been a pain forever! In some builds the entire trim disappears, so the whole roof is just sort of floating over the building and theres nothing you can do...
So your builds have always been amazing, obviously, but I swear I feel like they're somehow getting better and better with each one you post! This bar is perfect.
i would love to see you do your base game version for anyone to play with but also see what you would do if you had complete free range, like any pack or even cc if you’re feeling fancy
I was late to TS4 (Dec '19) and I started with Newcrest. Opened the world and nothing there. I put a house or two, then filled it up with houses, and then wondered why my Sims never had anyplace to go. I assumed there must be a "world" for dates and such, like they had in TS2, but I couldn't find it! I'd initiate dates but didn't realize I needed to go to another world, so my Sims couldn't go on the date! I said something on the forums and so many mean people! :( I guess that's what I get for not going with the first world selection.
Love this series! I only have a few packs so there’s not alot i can really download so i always like when you do base game builds because it gives me more stuff i can download! It’s also encouraged me to start building community lots in newcrest cause my favorite thing to do in the sims is build and never really though about using newcrest until i saw that there’s stuff outside of the lots like park equipment that can be used to kind of give an idea of what to build
There’s no real base game differences between the bar and the lounge but in get famous there are talent showcases at lounges and that’s why they need instruments
this is such an impressive build kayla!! my jaw literally dropped at one point and i even said “she’s so talented!!” i’m always so proud of what you create and this newcrest project has been so amazing to see!! ❤

Sims Team gave us a whole empty world because people wanted more lots to build on, and now yall complain about it being empty by default??? I can't with simmers sometimes 💀
From the top of my head, The main differences between bars and nightclubs is that NPSims tend to mainly dance in nightclub, whereas in bars not so much, even if you put a dancefloor. If you put video games or bar games in a nightclub, sims woin't use them, or if you put a DJ booth in a bar, no DJ will show up. If you play instruments in a bar, you will earn simoleon, but in nightclub you don't earn as much.
for anyone else ever experiencing the roof trim hole, its a platform issue! i've never found a way to fix it other than deleting the platform or putting a platform across the entire area you are roofing. i think you can also pull out the eaves, but i'm not 100% on that.
I love this bar!! The outside is very original to what you usually build, and it matches this weird style many early worlds Sims 4 have!! And the second version would be lovely to see; personally I've built a Dine Out + City Living restaurant in San Myshuno, and such limited builds really make you appreciate the items more!!

I always use the newcrest lots as lots to put people when im like organizing my world since its so cheap. But at the same time i wish not all the lots were empty like if we had with seasons where when u open a new save file they ask if u want it built or not

I love this bar so much!!! I saw you build it live a few weeks ago, though I'm fairly certain I fell asleep during it as I was having a really hard time sleeping that night so I had twitch on to help me sleep haha. It did help! It was a hard time (can't remember why now) but I know I'm very grateful for your stream.
I always thought I was the only one who put simsie videos on to calm down/sleep. Something about her is just so comforting and makes you feel calm and safe!

I would love to see someone use Newcrest for a legacy challenge. Have mulitple children. Pick one to move out the other stays in the old lot and the other moves into a new one. Just a village of one family

This is so good as always, another idea for the upper floor is maybe making it more of a sport bar vibe for the upstairs so more tvs and in general a little less fancy and then you have the best of both worlds based on the kind of sims your playing with
The terrain tools SHOULD be able to affect the terrain around the lot. We should be able to paint the ground around any lot. Maybe not far, but, at least 3 to 4 tiles wide. We should ALSO be able to place vegetation there, as well as rise and lower the ground slightly outside lots.
To be honest, this seems like the type of place that, if it were real life, would have a old, rickety, rusty metal, spiral staircase in some dark corner.
I'm not easily influenced by content creators and i don't consider you to be an influencer but the castify case was worth every penny of the $70 i spent considering how clumsy I am and how many times I've dropped it since I got it
I can’t wait to see the finished world! I get so inspired watching your build videos I think I do an ok job, I’m getting better at landscaping but I’m still struggling with the roofing lol
The way I filled it was the Newcrest Generation Challenge. Bar, Museum, Park, Lounge, Chapel/Wedding Venue, Gym, Library/Science Center, and a few houses of ranging values (Starter, Mid-Range, Rich)

One fun byproduct of the Sims 4 having no cars is that it really gives walkable cities energy.

Alternative idea, put a kitchen upstairs and have a free-fall drop the dish from the second story to the customer below, which they have to catch

You can make a starter save with all the lots, play it then “save as” to make a new save file. It leaves the starter save untouched

One lot type demands a tv, the other doesn't. When I build a fancy bar, I choose the one that doesn't demand a tv, it doesn't suit the vibe lol

my favorite thing to do is fill newcrest up with public buildings. I have town halls, libraries, schools, a DMV, museums, etc.

I already did this and,I made a rich part,Med part,then one small starter home the rest were apartments and coffee shops

one of my favorite semi-fancy bars i go to with my dad looks eerily similar to this build! it has only a couple tvs behind the bar like this one!

About 3 years ago I actually built the entirety of newcrest in like 2 days and then I edited it a whole bunch.
