Thanks for this video series! Thanks to your suggestions I’ve downloaded MMANA and started modeling antennas. Looking forward to the loop video! Just put a 40 meter delta loop antenna up this past weekend. 73 and keep up the great content!

Cal, I have watched your MMANA videos and am having quite a time exercising the software. I would liken it to peanuts and beer in your local pub, it’s hard to stop. To the point, could you do a short MMANA video on how the heck you did the DX Commander element attachment plate? I have tried for a couple of weeks without success. Maybe my being an old duffer has its limitations.
My DX Commander has opened up a whole new world for me.

Great One Callum! Please an 80M Horizontal Skyloop (corner fed) and perhaps also a 75M to 10M EFHW! Also, how can you enter in / model a 5 turn 25MM coil (on PVC pipe form) in the antenna wire? Also how can you enter in a 500pF 4000-6000V Capacitor in the antenna wire? I have both of these components in my 75 to 10M EFHW. The coil is about 2M from the feed point AND the capacitor is about 65 feet (19.8M) from the feed point (not including the wire in the 5 turn coil) AND... (Boy I am asking a lot here right??!!). Does MMANA show the impedance at the feed point to figure out the needed TRANSFORMER (Balun or UnUn)??? thanks OM. 73 Art W1SWL

I'm interested too in how to model a coil antenna around PVC. Arthur: calculate the antenna then go to HF components. It shows the LC values which you can enter as loads. Hope that helps. I'm still learning too. I hope on new video's from Callum. I'm still confused with this program after 5 days learning :p

I tried modelling a Double Bazooka coax antenna but i can't get it done. What i did is: a) draw one wire. halve wave length b) draw a wire below that and above that. c) connect the outer ends d) split the above wire into two and disconnect it. e) add a source to the lowest wire. Best SWR i can get is 13.8.... Question is can you show in a video how to do it?
Good try but I think we would need some fancy software to model coax and transmission line (I think!).. And I don't think MMANA does transmission lines.
I thought antenna modeling was when you dress fancy and someone takes a picture of you holding a baofeng. All jokes aside your videos on antenna modeling in the past taught me how to model antennas. 73

Mine was also German even if downloaded from the /en/ website. Solution go to settings and choose language English.
