25:10 This part got me. The only wrestling show I’ve ever been to was Mania 26 when I was 11, but Undertaker retiring Shawn Michaels is still one of my clearest/favorite childhood memories to this day. It’s beautiful that you got to experience a similar moment as an adult, reminded me why I started watching again.
Thank you for talking about Cody's entrance. It's been completely overshadowed by Roman's return understandably so, but it was such a great moment. Really built anticipation and set the tone for what was to happen later.
My first WWE show was WM40, I worked hard/saved for 2 years, “ I live 1 hour away from Philly”, and it was worth it, me and my brother, got live our Childhood dream.
20:20 Exactly! I went to both nights of Wrestlemania 40 and even though my seats were very far from the ring, the atmosphere alone made everything worth it. Just getting to cheer and sing the openings with other fans makes the whole experience so cool!
The way you describe it of a bottling up of emotions that was released like a diet coke + mentos combo once Roman’s music hit was all of us at home too, I just know being in person amplified it 100x.
I feel you on the Bayley thing. I was at the Miz meet and greet on Saturday morning and he's been my favorite for decades and it was the most nervous I ever got meeting a wrestler.
I got a virtual m&g with Bayley (also my favorite) when they were doing that in 2021 and felt so nervous that I still haven't been able to bring myself to watch the video they sent of it three years later now
Glad you had a good time and love the positivity! Wresting fans can become unnecessarily jaded over time and that's just not cool. Sharing the joy is way more fun. If you find yourself in STL, give us a shout and we'll make sure you're looked after.
Fun fact, that hotel you stayed in is actually an old NASA building. All of the rooms are old offices and that's why the hallways are a bit odd and there's a huge elevator. It actually connects underground to that NASA facility you showed. I'm guessing you stayed there because it's a pet friendly hotel. Very cool stuff, I'm glad you enjoyed your visit.
When you’ve been in it for a while and seen the peaks and valleys, you can easily become jaded, I’ve never lost my love for pro wrestling but seeing someone love the thing you love just makes me happy. Wrestling is the best, and may y’all always enjoy it no matter what
So glad to hear you had a great time. These stadium shows are always very cool. The atmosphere is unmatched by any sporting event or concert I've ever been to. There's just something really special about being part of shows like this, and I'll ALWAYS recommend fans to go and experience it firsthand if they are financially able to.
This is such a beautiful & wholesome video to watch. Words can't even describe how cool it is. As a longtime wrestling fan (since Attitude Era, I'd say) living in a country where WWE would never stop by, it's always been a dream of mine to experience all of that one day. Thank you for sharing your awesome experience.
I felt the same way about being able to go to Wrestlemania 40 this year, there were so many cool moments I’ll remember forever. Fate had it I was able to make it to my first Summerslam as well, truly a great 2024 for all involved
Love ya dport! Been here from your first WWE videos. So happy you feel the community and enjoy the product like so many of us do! Glad you had a great time
What a genuinely wonderful story and experience of Summerslam from you! I'm just getting back into wrestling after the Royal Rumble. I was into it from Ruthless Aggression era in 2004 all the way to 2016 or so when AJ was still around but then I took a break from it. I love how conversational your videos are-because the knowledge and passion comes through. And as fans, we feel that. It's nice not to feel gatekeeped by other fans. I used to be into Korean pop music and other things. And I felt like it was like that after awhile. Bur I'm so glad wrestling is so hot right now and it's attracting all audiences and UA-camrs like yourself Also, I love that Bayley story. So wholesome. She's one of my favorites as well with her story and the work she has put in. I feel like I would be the same way. I get why she lost, but I wish this reign had been better. Not sure if we are the same age, but now that I'm in my 30s, I can tell you you are doing right by living your life, new experiences, with your GF, all the people you meet at live experiences. That is the best part. I met many of my closest friends at live events like that too since I usually had to travel to other states. Can't put a price on memories. It's a blessing to be able to afford to go. Cause as you get older and expenses and life comes up, that can change. Keep doing your thing. And excited for the next video👍
I appreciate it. I'm currently pretty regular, it's just across UA-cam, Twitch, and Patreon 😆 so it might seem like less to anyone who's only on one of them. Thank you for the kind words!
I really enjoy your content man. I'm a life long fan and seeing your passion as a newer fan is really cool. Keep up the great work and welcome to the Pro Wrestling community!!!
I had the SAME thought witnessing that Roman return. Being there for that moment of history is a core memory for sure. We also listened to podcasts and reaction videos the whole drive back to MI from Cleveland 😂
Loving the content man, glad you two enjoyed the weekend and had such a great time! Going to my first live event in about a couple weeks with my gf and we're so excited. Ngl I only got the idea from watching your videos, so thanks a ton and keep killing it!
Could not be happier for you guys. Absolutely freaking awesome that you guys got to see this in person. Tally being long gone w the crying is Absolutely hilarious lol
As an ohio native I love hearing the out of state perspective! I sadly didn't get to go due to ticket prices being outrageous but glad you had a good time in our state!
I haven't been able to travel for a wrestling event in a few years just do to my position in life right now (kids and what not), but this video made me so happy watching it and living it vicariously. It literally made me message my buddies saying "damn it I love wrestling". To see the effect if had on you and the lasting lifetime memory you made by taking the chance to go to this inspired me to try and get on the horse again and make a big PLE like this. Love the channel and the content!
I get what you’re coming from about the seats. I drove six hours from Atlanta to Tampa to go to the rumble and I had nosebleed seats, but the reason why I went was not because of my seating it was because of the atmosphere now some people may not make that drive, I completely understand that but it’s about the atmosphere. It’s about being surrounded by other people Share the same interest as you do wrestling is a thing of beauty
Man im so glad for you and Tally, ive been watching wwe for about decade and a half now...ish, and sadly ive only gotten to watch from home, but man i so agree how special this thing is. Ive only seen the experiences from videos/posts from others who got to see one of thier favorites do their thing, or make a huge return, or make a debut. I hope within this next year i can save enough to go to my first show, especially with it being Cenas final run, hopefully get to go see him, hopefully see roman live too. But also i hope i can experience meeting others who just like fell in love with this sport. I have an older brother who used to love wrestling, but way before i could get into it, he stopped watching, im not exactly sure why, but i have a feeling he was one of those people who truly believed it was all real only to find out it was scripted so now especially if he watches with me all he does is just call out how "fake" it is. So yea, just brought it up, cuz i wish i could have someone to talk with when something happens and get to share the experience with, but so far im at least glad that i do get to watch people like MrSantiZap, Dporticus..etc. And the people who join watch alongs or make a comment, glad i have yall to talk with, have a conversation about a passion we can share
Cody's entrance was phenomenal, including that Bret Hart opening theme they used that they also used for the cage lowering for Hell in a Cell matches. I also oddly thought of Chappelle Shows "Two Minute Stand Up" skit when it was happening, but that is just how my brain works. WWE gave us an event that wont be soon forgotten and its why I love wrestling!
Thanks for sharing bayley is the bestt!! I actually accidentally met her in an airport bathroom in 2019 and she was just so kind to me when she didn't have to be and she's been my favorite ever since!!

Can confirm, I was boiling on the other side in the Dawg Pound. Also Winking Lizard is a solid chain around the Cleveland area. My boss has had many a business meeting where were drinking there at 10am lmao.
I know its a lot of money, and its obviously easier in a Raw/Smackdown in your area, but one of my biggest recommendations is to go sit front row or close to it in a wrestling show. Its a very different experience in my mind, and frankly I have gotten to a point I would rather do that once in a while than go more often and sit farther away. It makes you feel like you are in the show rather than just watching it. Highly recommend saving up to try to do that (its tough to get those tickets too you need to be in the early access sales and be lucky but its possible)
Such a cool vlog of your whole experience. I had a blast watching at home in the UK so being there must have been amazing. I hope we can get Mania in the UK so i can get the chance to see a show live. Im a big football (soccer) fan and being in the stadium will always top watching it on tv.

I just found your channel today and, and asked a question on previous videos. My cousins, a friend and I are going ro summerslam and I are going to summerslam next summer in Jersey. What did it wind up running you for tickets?
