I like how you treated this image. I find side buildings in this perspective very challenging; the angle of the buildings in relation to us is such that there is a lot of details that is condensed in a very thin area, at lest that is how I see it. This video makes painting the buildings a bit more approachable. I also like how you painted the background building, gray without being too dominant. Thanks!
Always beautiful your sketches with watercolor! The are so light, yet in its entirety full of details...Teoh Is there a possibility in the future to be able to buy a portable booklet of yours, where we can learn to make Urban sketches with watercolor with your simplicity??!They are too beautiful! Thank you for your work!
I always leave your videos so inspired to grab my art supplies and just go for it. I love your art style so much and I learn so much from you. Thank you for this!
I've seen on another video that the sun sets in 15 minutes in Singapore, that's a very short period of dusk! It must have been something like 19:30 when this photo was taken.
Good evening Teoh Yi Chie, I always love to watch your videos on UA-cam and I am a BIG fan of your work. I hope it's OK if I ask you a question about your materials you use in this tutorial. I wonder what kind of 'markers' you are using. At 10.05 minutes you start to add color with these markers and I assume they are waterproof? Can you tell me a bit more? Of course I know how to use the white gell pen to add extra accents to my drawing. But these markers are with color. I'm looking forward to your answer. With kind regards, Eveline
Awesome as usual, final result looks really good!! Very helpful tips and commentary throughout, makes it far less intimidating to approach a busy and rather complex-looking scene like this, thank you! ... I wondered which sketchbook you're using for this piece?
What sketchbook is this? I've been looking for watercolour sketchbooks but the Etchr ones and others often are hard to get in Canada- curious what this one is it doesnt look familiar.
Unfortunately, the vector data is not saved properly. As in the saved vector art does not look 100% like the vector art within Concepts. What I usually do is save a screenshot instead.
i appreciate you dropping the reference, this is what most art tutorials miss in their videos. thank you!!
So true.. i hate that

Thanks for the reminder not to fall into the detail trap! The expert way you simplify is one of my favorite aspects of your style!✍️🔥❤️

Those are Uni POSCA markers, available with different tip sizes. They are pigmented inks, waterproof when dry.
@@teohyc Thank you so much for your reply and I wish you all the best and fun with drawing and teaching. You are a big source of inspiration to me.

Can you show how to save vector file in Concepts App and the quality of actual saved file?
