Our Outbound Trailer Camper

- I will be showing our Outbound Trailer Camper in case anyone has considered getting one. We really like our camper because we enjoy nature when we are out camping. It was really reasonably priced and allowed us to get out of our tent. Water does not come into the camper its our blanket slipping between the door seal and getting wet that way. If you are looking to get away from a tent and into a small one axle sleeper camper that can be pulled by almost any vehicle. Then I would suggest checking out Outbound Trailer.

I plan on doing a few updates over this winter and will make a new video to include more details and maybe give people ideas on what to do with theirs.
Just got a new Outbound Extreme a coupls of months ago, I am really enjoying it. Noy many mods at all on my basic model, as I am hoping to do a lot of work to it myself. Stay safe and a new subscriber here!
just a suggestion... drop the music... i left because of it.. There should be value in your words, if you are talking, no music or mute it to almost imperceptible. I would like to hear you talk about the trailer, but...
Appreciate your input. Honestly at the time it was an early video and still getting used to the editing process. I actually plan on doing a whole new video this spring on it because their was alot of things I didn't consider while doing my walk around of it.
Thanks for the video. My wife and I are considering these. On an unrelated note, I see you have a video at the Maskenthine mountain bike trail. I grew up in Stanton and currently live in the Omaha area.
The company has been doing alot to make the trailers better. I want to make a new video on it soon. Me and my GF went to Ponca state park today and seen an orange Outbound trailerI love the trails and fishing at maskethine. It's close so makes for fun activities nearby. Appreciate you checking out the video.
Thanks for the video. How many inches from ground to roof rack.
Can you make the music a little louder?
Any leaking issues? Problems in rubber areas?
I did take it through some flooded area once and the blanket was closed up in the door a bit and that allowed a small amount of water to soak into the blanket. Besides that no problem at all
@@HatefullKilla Sounds promising. How's the hitch area? Have you been in any offroad areas? Thanks for replies!
@@dgducksguts I've done a small amount of offroading. It has a 1 7/8 hitch. With the front cargo rack it can be a little tricky with the small size of the trailer not to jack knife it in reverse especially on uneven terrain.
Lots of leaks in mine. Poor construction and cheap parts.
How is the A/C performance ?
Great!
Weight of trailer?
Between 600 and 700lbs. Barely tell it's back there when hauling it with the Tahoe. My Dodge Dakota hauled it without any problems also.
I purchased a brand new Outbound Trailer “T-Rex” for approximately $11,500 last year. The prices of these trailers consistently change. Just go to their Facebook page and see. One minute you can get a “T-Rex” for approximately $13,000 then the same one for as low as approximately $8,000. Plus add on upgrades. The negative: Water has been getting in from the corners, the frame is rusting in multiple places, the wires are coming apart, moisture issues inside the cabin, inside ceiling liner is sagging, underneath is only OSB flooring with a big gap, frame is a bolt on frame, all screws are rusting and overall poor craftsmanship on the build. The positive: It looks appealing when on the road, rims are name brand “Fuel Rims”, tires have good traction. Overpriced and poorly built!
Thanks for the video, I live in central Nebraska and am always looking for good places to camp and people to compare notes with about small campers.
I wanted to do an update video on the camper. Just haven't been able to.
A little personal but what did this Unit cost you? I’m looking into getting one for next year, going to try to catch a winter or outdoor show deal on one.
For everything featured. Without the mattress. About $5500 and it took 4 weeks I think for a build time.
i need a heater of some sort reliable in cold weather. not a 12 dollar walmart heater
What powers the fan? Electric or battery? How is the fan connected to its power source?
Deep cell battery
