- Anfang Oktober 2020 - der obligatorische Blick auf die Europakarte des RKI zeigt nur noch ein grün eingefärbtes Land : Italien. Selbst in Deutschland sind die Inzidenzwerte deutlich höher.
Also nutzen wie die Gunst der Stunde und reisen mit Maximalabstand nach Kurtinig.
Die Jungs aus dem Westen haben mit die weiteste Anreise und verteilen die Strecke auf 2 Fahrtage.
Im Nachhinein war das keine gute Idee. Zumindest wurden jegliche Viren beim Grenzübertritt von Petrus komplett abgewaschen!

Hello, an RT is certainly a wise decision and you will have a lot of fun. In our group 5 people have already switched from the GT to an R1250RT. The future films will increasingly be dominated by RT and GS. Have fun! Stay healthy !

Which kind of damage have you faced due to the water/rain? The control panel was showing a SOS! Were you able to proceed with the trip?

After swapping from the K16 to the RT and after some journeys already performed under these RT, how happy are you? Are the RT as good as the K in terms of luggage, room and comfort?

The SOS problem was with my new RT and a few hours driving in the rain. It didn't go away for the whole week and had to be repaired by BMW afterwards. We then pressed the button for a test and immediately had a connection with a lovely Italian woman.
The RT has the same luggage system as the K16. The RT is a hundredweight lighter. Of course, it's a boxer - more sophisticated than an R1150 but still a boxer. In contrast, the K16 is the S-Class from Mercedes. But you can also have a lot of fun with a 5 Series BMW.

Ok, for sure you are not sorry with this changing to the RT once you are not racing and the major difference it is the speed, isn't it?? Pay attention to the driver license.....:):):)

Ja, das mit der Musik ist immer schwierig - vor allem in Deutschland mit GEMA und Urheberrecht. Ich versuche zumindest etwas zu variieren - hör mal heute abend und nächsten Freitag rein - das sollte weniger gladiatorenhaft sein.

What is the camera's degree angle do you use?
In this video, Hans (who is filming forward) has the telephoto setting. Ralf (films backwards) wide angle.
This is always difficult with the action cams. If you want to have the bikes in the picture always "Narrow" if you want to see a lot of landscape the middle setting. But that's only worth it in the high mountains.

That's my experience too. Wide angle making bikes look further and small in size. Same with diminished mountains and scenery.
Narrow view won't show the whole picture. So yeah, somewhere in the middle I guess it works ok.
I like to give the steering bar and a cockpit view in my vids so it'll give the viewer more of like their riding impression.
But
The cockpit is good to look at - but nobody needs to see what speed we are currently driving. The colleagues from the blue department also watch videos.
